Brian was very helpful in informing me of the condition on my car, suggested the needed repairs and the cost. I would recommend this facility.

Such a great experience, the staff is friendly and beyond helpful. Brian the manager was able to keep me informed of how things were going and very knowledgeable. I also got to meet Brian the service tech who was also great, got my vehicle ready very quickly. The waiting room is nice if you decide to wait for your vehicle.

They will let you know what your car needs and don't pressure you on unnecessary things. I will be using them again in the future for sure.

This is my second negative experience with Bryan, who identified himself as the manager, and unfortunately it will be my last visit to this location.
I scheduled a 5:00 PM appointment online and arrived to drop off my vehicle as scheduled. When I got there, Bryan told me that he was planning to call me around lunchtime to let me know the appointment would need to be rescheduled. I found it unacceptable that I was not contacted before making the trip to the shop and that no effort was made to honor the appointment or offer a reasonable solution.
What made the situation even more frustrating was Bryan's attitude. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, he simply stated that there was nothing he could do. This level of customer service is disappointing, especially from someone claiming to be the manager.
This is not my first negative interaction with Bryan. After I posted a previous review about an earlier experience, he personally texted me asking me to remove it rather than addressing the concerns that led to the review in the first place.
When I asked to speak with a supervisor, Bryan told me that his bosses were in Chicago and would not be back until next week. I was left with no way to address my concerns or speak with anyone above him.
Because this is the second time I have had a negative experience with Bryan, I am concerned about how I am being treated and whether bias may be playing a role. Regardless, the service I received was unprofessional, dismissive, and unacceptable.
I will be filing a formal complaint with corporate headquarters regarding the handling of my appointment, Bryan's conduct, and the overall customer service experience. I would strongly encourage management to review how customers are being treated at this location.

I was having trouble with my vehicle for a while and thought it only needed it alignment. Luckily, I took it to Meineke and they diagnosed the problem immediately and has all the work done within a day. Everyone was wonderful to me. Especially being a senior it’s very important to have honest people in your neighborhood. I would highly recommend this company.

I’m updating my review because I had a light come on my dash which indicated a problem with my electrical. Brian got me in right away and they diagnosed the issue and gave me an estimate for the part and labor, which was very fair. They ordered the part, called me when it came in and did the necessary work as well as my vehicle inspection. I like the fact that they give you a time to come in and they get the work done. You don’t have to leave your vehicle sitting for days until they get to it and they show you what’s wrong by sending photos to your email. I’ve never had a company that’s done this and one that has treated me as kind and fairly. I especially want to think Brian…He is great and explains things so that I understand them. I have recommended them to many people, and everyone has the same opinion. Again, I would highly recommend them!

Had an oil change and state inspection scheduled. It took 7 hrs. Plus was told because my vehicle was 5yrs. old more than likely it would not past inspection. Will never go there again.

I absolutely love this shop. Brian is wonderful and they are honest. I’m a senior female and I highly recommend them.

Very honest and professional. I really appreciate that the report of my vehicle included pictures so you know everything stated is accurate. I fully trust taking my vehicle here now and in the future.

Very disappointing experience. My sister was told her car needed extensive repairs to pass inspection and ended up spending over $2,000, only to be told it still failed. She then took it to Stewartstown Station Repairs, where it passed inspection without needing any additional work. This experience has completely changed our trust in Meineke, and my family will not be returning.

Had to stop; had an issue with my car and had to exit the highway. Unfortunate, but I had the great fortune of finding this shop, with Brian and Shane. They got my car in right away, diagnosed the issue, had the parts delivered, repaired my car, and had me on my way in 2.5 hours. And, they did it all with a smile, periodic friendly & genuine conversation, and complete professionalism. I believe in "happy accidents" in life - this was one of those for me. Made an appointment and was taken at the scheduled time. Good price for the service provided. Technician answered my questions thoroughly and was most professional.

Great guys, just left from an oil change service was quick they didn’t try to con me in to spending more than I needed to I highly recommend giving them a visit especially the New Freedom location. I will NEVER go anywhere else

I went into Meineke during an emergency situation, and Brian was incredibly kind and accommodating—even right before closing time. Chuck did a great job with the service, working efficiently without cutting corners, and had me back on the road much faster than I expected.

What really stood out was how professional and friendly both of them were despite the timing and pressure of the situation. It’s not easy to find a place that combines skill, honesty, and genuine customer care, but this team definitely does.

Thanks to their excellent service and positive attitudes, I left as a very happy customer and will absolutely be coming back in the future. Highly recommend!

I live in Columbia,Maryland 52 minutes away bad a great connection with management Ron snd Bryant. The service guys knew their job. I witnessed Great customer service as I waited for my vehicle to have repairs by both levels. I noticed how they explained each issue clearly with customers even showing documentation to back their solutions to customers vehicle issues. I will definitely travel 52 minutes to visit the shop again. Salute

First time coming here. I had an appointment, they took me on time. Very professional. I used a coupon for my state inspection. Good price. Very respectful. I'll come back.

Took my car to Meinike cause car was overheating. They said it was a water pump. Then they said it was a different issue which would be more then 3k to fix issue. Took it to the dealership and they said nothing run with either issue. They were going to charge over 3k for something that didn't even need to e replaced. Very disappointed!

Manager Brian was very nice and straight forward with costs and car issues. So far so good with repairs that were done, I'm happy with everything.

Very grateful for the work that was done on my car! Brian and Brian were great to work with as I had a family emergency come up while they were repairing my car. I was given a loaner car so they could continue working on my car.

I’ve been using meineke in new freedom for about three years with mixed reviews until recently. My last two visits (for an inspection and more complex oil cooler replacement) were serviced by Brian Mulcahy. Brian is extremely knowledgeable as a master tech with both breadth and depth of various automotive platforms and is extremely honest and transparent. I would highly recommend requesting Brian for ANY service you require. If every Meineke had a Brian, they would put dealerships out of business.

On my first visit I brought my own oil and filter due to the rare type of oil my car uses. I arrived very early to my appointment 4 hours early. Was told they would not take the car until my original appointment time after waiting for over an hour. Then I was informed that they do not allow customers to supply their own oil and filter. I paid full price last visit and was expecting to pay full price this time. I wasn't trying to get a discount. They could keep their oil and filter. Went to a different shop and had my oil changed in 20 minutes and they actually appreciated me being my oil and filter. Sorry but you lost me as a customer.

I have visited twice over past two years, and plan to visit again. They are honest and thorough, and provide good feedback and recommendations, including advising items that can be addressed early. And, they are fair and reasonable with their pricing.

Nice shop, gets jobs done and respectful. Will suggest that they dont treat women like they dont know about vehicles. Little pricey but not crazy for how things are now

I recently had my car at the Meineke shop in New Freedom PA for state inspection. The mechanic found that my brake pads were broken. He suggested new brakes and rotors. After seeing the damaged brakes, I totally agreed. I received great service and communication from the shop manager and when everything was done, the final cost was very reasonable.

My experience getting an oil change didn't start off well as the person taking my appointment on the phone did not ask me if I was dropping off or would wait for my vehicle so when I arrived the shop wasn't prepared to take my car right away. I did appreciate that the manager was professional, apologized for the issue, and did his best to get me in and out. The waiting area was comfortable. I also appreciate that Meineke offers group on discounts on synthetic oil changes which can often be excessively expensive today.

Have two cars needing yearly inspection. Robbie worked with me with two separate dates as I had to wait for them. The shop was fast and efficient. One problem was corrected on the spot. While both passed, Robbie pointed out several things that will attention shortly. He made me feeler like a valued customer although this was my first time here. Mr. Tire in Shrewsbury has cheated me. I didn’t feel like that at all. I will defiantly use this shop for all my future needs.

I showed up a few minutes early for my appointment, and they told me I was a couple hours late. I was told it would take less than 30 minutes, but I was there for 90. A big part of this was the fact they look over your car for more ways for you to spend money. They come up with a huge report, similar to the one you receive when buying a home, if you elect to have the hole house professionally inspected. The thing is, I didn't elect to have my whole car inspected. I just wanted a quote on replacing my muffler. Not only was that estimate way too high in my opinion. They had 2 pages of "issues" that they try to scare you into having them fix for you. I have a nice truck that is well maintained and they want $4,755 to make it safe to use. Funny I passed the most recent PA safety inspection just fine. I worry about folks that fall for it that may not be as informed about their vehicles that go to one of these franchise locations. I don't leave a lot of reviews, but they kept jamming up my email and text, that I felt this would be the best way to try to make it stop. There is your review, please leave me and my truck alone!
