These people run an insurance scheme, be very careful. Customer Service is terrible and you would be wise to avoid this business at any cost.
My niece got into an accident and Plummers was called by the police. Granted they had to winch the car out of a very small ditch, and they pulled the car across the street. We asked them to tow it to our Auto collision Garage and he ignorantly stated he didnt have time. We called up later in the day because we were going to have it towed by another company, they told us it was $900. I was like that's insane, they towed it 400ft. The lady on the phone stated: "how many people do i have to explain this to" because we were all shocked we didn't believe that we were hearing them. So me, my sister, my brother all called thinking the other person didnt hear them correctly. The lady on the phone said, whats the big deal the insurance will just come by and look at it and no questions asked. I said because we would prefer to try and just pay for it without insurance. She said there were all these extra fees because they were called by the police and that it was the company owner requiring these fees and she didn't want to hear it. So, she hung up on me. I called back and got the message and said "I guess I'll pay the $900 dollars". They wouldn't answer. I was sending a tow truck up to pick it up and they said there was money owed so I couldn't get the car, but they wouldn't return any of our calls.
Then, they gave the insurance company the run around. I found out later this towing company runs up storage fees on the insurance companies so they want you to use your insurance so they can charge exorbitant fees. They are succubus people that are just the kind of company that is responsible for how messed up the world is. Taking advantage of people at the worst moment, then gaslighting them when they question why they are being robbed. Ill save you all kinds of grief, do not use this company.
Locked my keys in my car. Ugh!! 😫 I phoned a friend lol who came to help. Unfortunately that didn't work so they stayed with me while I waited for Plummers to stop. Omg the guy was great. I swear it was like 2 seconds and I was in my vehicle.
My family and I were stranded on the highway when our car died. AAA dispatched Plummer's Towing. He was quick to arrive and made sure all of our safety was first priority. He carefully loaded the car then got us all off the side of the road to make sure the car was secure for the trip to the shop. I can't thank him enough for making sure we all got out of this situation safely.
Good Sam sent these folks to help with our RV trailer issues. Prompt service including some mobile welding so that our trailer could be brought to a welding shop for permanent repairs. Al…the representative was professional and explained the entire process for us. His supervisor was also great! I would recommend them to anyone.
If you're stuck on the side of the road with your family of 4 in another state with no help, these are the guys to call. They were able to transport our car and my family to a hotel in a safe area until we could fix our car. Thank you, Plummer's.

I recently had to call AAA for a tire issue and plummers towing was dispatched to assist me. When I said the name of the garage my car was to be towed to, the driver, Joe, made it a point to say he doesn’t like working with that garage. When I asked him why not, he just replied that they were JEWS! Not sure if he was implying he doesn’t like them as Jewish people or if he was insinuating anything about their financial practices? As a Jewish person it was extremely offense to me, and even searching for an apology has resulted in endless gaslighting that ‘I must be imagining this incident incorrectly’ and ‘Joe is a good country boy he would never say that’. Plummers, Joe, anyone, please learn to take accountability and learn to maybe not be prejudice or discriminating in the future. Words and actions have consequences. I have been told that voicing my complaint has hurt Joe’s feelings, I’m sorry Joe, but you don’t really seem to have my feelings in mind if you’re going to degrade my heritage and not even have the guts to do better or even apologize. SHAME ON YOU
Pathetic!!!!! ❌❌❌❌I own a trucking company was robbed..I was told $450 for my truck to be towed out of mud but they charged me $1300. Reason given was they had to put fuel to get the truck move. Even if they put fuel for $200, the charges cannot go up 3 times that too without prior informing that it will go that much. The guys were so rude and were taking advantage of the situation we were stuck in. They even threaten us to impound our truck if we don’t pay right away.
Never had such horrible experience in my trucking experience for above 8 years no.

They were very quick to respond when we were broken down with our camper. They helped us tow it back to their shop safely and fixed it as soon as they were able to get the needed parts. The charges were extremely reasonable and the employees were all courteous, kind, and very easy to talk to. Thank you so much for being there when we needed you.
I cannot describe how much appreciation I have for this man bill. Bill is literally the best. We were stuck and he came right away we had no ride or anything. He waited for us to find somewhere to go and made sure the creepy men across the street didn’t get us. He THAN TRANSPORTED US to a hotel to make sure we were safe. This man is a whole blessing. I was robbed!! I was told 225 an hour to have my rv towed to Archibald from dalton.....a 20 minute trip at most. I was charged 500!!!! The only explanation was that the recker came from Tunkhannock. Why wasn't I informed before.....that i was paying on the clock..... from another 45 minutes out from me!! I live 2 miles from the place of business...... totally uncalled for. Please inform your customers of ALL the details before digging in their pockets once you have them!!!
called to have my car towed on 5apr dispatcher says OK what time 830 so I wait 2hrs no show call dispatcher, she sounded confused cause it was put on as 1st job for the driver looks into it gets bumped and was told would get a call back Never did.

They were sent to me for a jump start from AAA. I waited well over 2 hours for them to arrive. I finally got a phone call from them saying they cannot find my home. I told them my home was approximately 3.8 miles south from their location. They said it was too far to come to me and they were going back to their garage, find someone else to jump start my vehicle. I tried to reason with them, but, they refused to drive that short distance to start my vehicle. I will tell everyone I know about my experience from this UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS.
Casey showed up in 20 minutes, took the battery from my car to his shop, charged it and brought it back and Voila, car started right up. All within an hour!!! So very grateful to Plummers Towing

No one else in the area wanted to help us out on a Sunday. We were on vacation and not from the area. The driver was fantastic. He even took us to our hotel after we dropped car at the dealership. 👍👍
They just replaced a blown drive tire on my semi. Excellent service, came an hour quicker than quoted, gave me several options to resolve the issue and had very fair pricing especially for an after hours road call. Would definitely use again! Thank you!
Plummers is a State Farm approved service. They were called after a Binghamton tow service totally dropped the ball, leaving me in an unheated vehicle in 20 degree weather with two flats on rt. 81 between Scranton and Binghamton. Location info was not precise, but Doug took the time to locate me and tow the vehicle out of his way to a tire store open the next morning. He stayed with me until I found a place to crash for the night. Highly recommended for tow services. You won't find a more competent and concerned company.
Had to call several times, apparently there is only ONE person to answer calls.
Also, my AAA is only Basic, So when he FINALLY showed up several hours later, he was going to charge me an addition $200 plus to get a mere volks wagon out of the ditch,,,, really?? Thanks but no thanks. I sent him on his way. My nephew and his buddies got it out the next day. No charge.
Top notch service at very fair prices. I got a 26 foot U-Haul stuck in a ditch, Plummers was there in 20 minutes and had it out in 10. Highly recommended!
We were traveling thru and unexpectedly our Volvo went into "limp" mode. We were 80miles from home. We asked a local and they said there was only one number to call for help. Within 45mins they were at our location & had room in his can to take us home. They handled the roadside assistance policy paperwork and everything! I highly recommend.

Got down to -6° the morning of 2-1-19 and my fuel filters started to gel up. Plummers came out to me when no one else would. The mechanic checked to see what filters I needed, went and got them, and came back and put them on. Also added diesel 911 to my tanks and I was up and running again. I will definitely reach out to them again if I ever need help in the area
Wonderful guys, had an issue on highway gave them a rough location and within 45 mins they were there to rescue myself and a friend. It was super cold and the transaction was fast highly recommend this service
Called this place, gave them the address I was at, the address I was going to and asked for an approx price. It was a bit high but they were close, so I said please come tow me. They said they'd send someone asap. Well my phone died, I used the last of my battery to call a tow truck seemed reasonable at the time. Except that they never showed up. Didn't try to call back either. So I sat for hours and eventually had to contact another company. Not very professional in my opinion.
