This site should be taken care of and maintained by the perry twp supervisors. It is part of our very beginnings in this area.It can be a tourist destination from the days of George Washington and Benjamin Franklin! our history but instead each year it just falls a little more in disrepair. it's ashamed that this is allowed to happen perry twp. shame on you. Also with the tressel and jacobs creek with beautiful woods and scenic ride in. which by the way belongs to perry twp unless they gave it away (their were rumors of this a few years ago) it is a peaceful place to be cool in the summer closed in the winter maybe. our history of the first furnace west of the Appalachians. the valley provided salt from below and cannon balls for war. there is so much history down in the valley of Jacob's creek. just being neglected by our twp
