I have been going to Fisher’s automotive for a number of years now, but I won’t be anymore because of the latest experience I had. I had wheel alignments done on 2 of my 3 vehicles and both have exhibited significant issues with the tires wearing almost exclusively on the inside of the tires since I had them aligned. (Mind you, this was never the case previously for either of these vehicles and my other vehicle has no issues with tire wear.). The wear was so far to the inside of the tire, that I didn’t really notice until I was rotating the tires. I called to let Fisher’s know the situation and talked to Mike. I explained the situation and raised concerns about whether the equipment could be incorrectly calibrated or that there might be another issue. Instead of offering to look at either vehicle or the photos I had taken of the tires, Mike stated that the equipment they use does not need calibrating (ever) and attempted to blame potholes or the interval with which I was rotating my tires (every oil change is what I do). These explanations are not correct since all 4 tires are wearing with the same pattern. I have included some photos of the tires. I had the vehicles taken to another mechanic that I trust and he confirmed that there were major issues with the alignment of all 4 wheels, which they corrected. They also confirmed that wheel alignment equipment must be calibrated regularly.
As you can see from the photos, the wear was such that it was hard to notice by looking at the regular part of the tire and posed a significant risk to my family. As Mike had no interest in taking accountability or even offering to look at the tires or vehicle, I cannot trust him or his establishment anymore. I am sharing this review to help others avoid an establishment that lacks accountability.
We had our brakes and AC serviced here on Friday, June 27th, 2025, and I must say this: the staff, from the mechanics in the garage to the front desk personnel, are all incredibly kind and friendly!
While we were waiting for our car to be repaired, our autistic son experienced a bit of an episode over a bee he wanted to catch, and the staff went above and beyond to assist him and us. It was truly heartwarming!
Additionally, regarding the work they completed - our AC is now recharged, and our brakes are no longer grinding, so it goes without saying that they did an outstanding job! Plus, all of this was done at a very affordable and reasonable price!
So on behalf of my family and myself, we genuinely appreciate not only the work you did for us but also the empathy and remarkable kindness you extended us! Thank you everyone at Fisher Automotive! Really - THANK YOU!! ☺️

One of the best shops I've been to after some idiot mechanic down in VA put my main wire harness on a very hot part of the engine resulting in it melting. Had it towed here via Gombach Towing Service(see my review there). Mike and his guys started diagnosing things and eventually discovered the melted mess. Before I even left to go to the hotel I stayed at they had it in a bay and already began cutting the melted sections out. They painstakingly redid everything and had me back on the road today.
Overall these guys were honest and open, one thing that's very hard to find nowadays. If I lived closer, I'd be bringing my S10 up here for work done that I have zero idea on how to do. Also shoutout to the girls at the front desk, they suggested a place for a sandwich when I first arrived and were very helpful with updates!
They have been taking good care of my family's cars for years and years. Booking an appointment is easy, the staff is friendly, and turnaround time seems very quick. I don't live close anymore but still want to give them my business for their consistency.
Great work, reasonable prices. A well-done, modern example of an establishment wanting to "earn your business". I will continue to bring my vehicles to Fisher Automotive Services for whatever they may need.
Great place for routine and specialty service. They're friendly and reliable, and their prices are well below those of other places nearby. Will continue bringing my vehicles here for as long as they continue providing the service that we've experienced. Highly recommend.

Coming from a current small business owner, former ASE certified technician,
ASE certified customer service representative, MAAP certified customer service representative, AND former store manage for a (MAJOR) corporate garage.
Here's why
Essentially, they embody EVERYTHING that makes the automotive service industry look bad in modern times.
Unprofessional, dishonest, disorganized, disrespectful to women and overall just bad people.
Here's the Play by play.
The girlfriends family have been using fisher automotive for years, some slight hick-ups in service every now and again. That's normal.
However, about a year ago the girlfriends car went in for some diagnostic, nothing special. However, she got the phone call that her vehicle was finished (both diagnostic and solution.) We were a little in shock that she owed in the range of a few hundred dollars and that no-one had called to ask if we even wanted to move forward with fixing it beforehand. (old-ish car: may not be worth repairing)
Now as I stated before, I am a former an ASE certified technician as well as an ASE certified and MAAP certified customer service representative.
So when I heard how everything played out, a big red flag went off for me.
(By any standard it is frowned apon to move forward with unapproved work unless specified by the customer to do so beforehand..Let alone the fact that it is STILL COMPLETELY ILLEGAL to perform work on a customer vehicle without written or verbal consent directly relating to the problem at hand.)
Whatever, problem is fixed and I didn't have to fix it personally, works for me.
(Not sure how they sleep at night or how they haven't lost money/ been sued for that practice yet.)
Anyhow
From then to now I had
had fixed a few things on the other family vehicles (trying to help out in saving them money where I can)
Unfortunately, I was unaware that fisher took offence; that "I had taken money outve their pockets"
By fixing small odds and ends on family vehicles
Even more unfortunate when the most recent issue arose with the girlfriends car.
I was lacking the time and availability to fix it myself; so we decided to have it towed to her family's mechanic- fisher.
a week and a half of it sitting on their lot; the same thing. Fixed, no call for approval... The difference was that the car wasn't fixed. It still had the same problems we had it towed there for. Slightly more intermittent but still there.
... So as you can assume, the girlfriend called on the way home stating that it still had a flashing engine light (indicating catastrophic engine failure) and the whole car was shaking and puttering like it wanted to die.
So she calls fisher to fix their misdiagnosed issue and move forward.
At which point she is told a variety of impolite things by a man named Mike.
(Who I'm told is the owner)
All of which I happened to overhear.
So naturally off to fisher I then go to politely discuss with Mike the issues we were having and find some decent resolution.
Mike at this point throws a complete temper tantrum.
With a bit of an attempt to physically intimidate me, swearing, screaming
accusing me of stealing his work months ago (for helping my family not have to spend so much to pass inspection.)
Now by this point I had stated
at least two or three times
(In my best customer service/ de-escalation voice) that I wasn't there to bust
balls, be rude or cause problems.
(Even though he was extremely rude to my girlfriend on the phone, I am still a professional and will always do my best carry myself as such)
I just wanted a solution that made sense.
Properly diagnose the car, properly fix it, and then PROPERLY VERIFY THAT IT WAS FIXED. the same way the book says to do it.
Well he refused and continued his temper tantrum right back inside with a few attempts to bullrush back out the door in a feat of physical intimidation.
Showing absolutely the least professional display from anyone I have seen EVER. Let alone a business owner.
Finding this place couldn’t have come at a better time for me. I was referred to Fisher Automotive which is owned by Heather and her husband. They are honest, did a great job, priced reasonably and frankly for everything I needed done was taken care of in a very reasonable amount of time. This has now become my new place for automotive jobs.
My entire family has been taking all of our vehicles to Fisher Automotive for the past eight years and Fisher Automotive is truly amazing. The most caring, honest, fair, and informative shop. When one hears "they treat you like family" - this is 100% accurate at Fisher's. I have had some serious scheduling circumstances with medical issues, and unfortunately a vehicle that has had problems that it shouldn't be expected to have. Heather and Mike reassured me, were flexible with my situation, and went above and beyond from start to finish. I hope I don't need them anytime soon...but I will kinda miss my interactions with Fisher's!
Have been a long time customer and consider them one of the area's best assets. This is where to go, especially for repairs that require true expertise completed by someone you can trust. They take care of customers to a degree that isn't very common today. Top notch knowledge and skills, fair pricing, and unmatched customer service. Hard to beat that combination!
I never met two people like Mike n Heather who go out of their way to please the customer. We take all our vehicles here for repairs and maintenance. If you want quality work done, professional attitudes and the BEST SERVICE your money can buy, this is the place to go. These are honest and hardworking folks that you can TRUST with your vehicles. Very nice and honest people . Worked late on a friday to fix our problem. Could of said we're closing come back monday. Found a good mechanic .Will definitely go back when needed
I wouldn't send anyone to this garage! They had my car for two days and did nothing. Ordered a part to be in two days later and it took 3 weeks.
Scheduled appointment for Yesterday and was told to bring it anytime. A 2 hour job took 25 hours. They did emissions and inspection on my car which was not something it was there for. They have horrible customer service and are extremely rude.
Needed a front end alignment on my Pilot they had the best price around and were recommended by Export Tire. Ended up needing some front end parts, Heather. Offered to have an employee , Matt. Give a ride. Back home. What a nice guy. Mike Kelly gave me a fair price. On the major front end repair And then had Toni track down at my house. And take me back to pick up my car. Who does that. These days ? With the price of tires ( If you can get them ) give Heather of Mike a call for an alignment
Always received topnotch service no matter what the job was that I needed done. I've always been treated with respect from the owners and show them the same. You need to come on over to Fishers Automotive and give them a try. You won't be sorry.
These guys are great. I travel from Churchill to here because they're knowledgeable, dependable and their prices are reasonable. What else can you say, that's what you're looking for in an Auto mechanic shop!!

We have been using Fisher's for the past couple of years and they have always been upfront with what is going on and are always helpful. These are some very nice and decent people, having 3 cars and 2 trucks to maintain takes a lot but they have yet to let us down. Highly recommend and they will continue to get our business!
Took my Honda Odyssey in for an alignment after having tires put on down the road (at Export Tire). They gave me a discount because the tire shop referred me. Then, when they found a serious problem with the control arm/sway bar/ball joint thing - it was literally ready to fall off! That explained why I had been noticing vibration at higher speeds. They took me back to the bay to show me all the rust on the part and how the wheel wobbled. And, even though they were crazy busy, because I did not have a way home, they did the repairs right then. I spent the 2 hours in their comfortable waiting room, and left driving what felt like a new car, at a price I felt was fair.
I went back with my son's car (a 2006 Pontiac Vibe), which failed inspection for an exhaust. The inspection shop told me it needed the whole exhaust at a quote of $800!! Fisher was able to remove and weld only the two sections of bad pipe, saving me a TON at only $200. Not many shops have skilled welders who can do this type of repair.
Heather, the lovely lady who does all the office stuff, is ALWAYS pleasant, accommodating, and knowledgeable. She explains everything so that even I, someone with very little car knowledge, can understand. As if that weren't enough, I really feel that the cost of the repairs is fair. Even if it were a little higher, I would gladly pay it, because to me, it's far more important to have a shop I can trust than it is to get the cheapest price. I'll be a returning customer! Kudos to Fisher Automotive!
The owner is amazing! I was doing a Home Inspection about a block away and when I was finished, I noticed that I had a flat tire. I ran over a nail. I walked down to Fisher Automotive and the owner and a employee came down and took my tire back to his shop and patched it. Not only did he save me, when I asked how much. He said don’t worry about. Did I mention it was raining and my truck was in the mud. If I could give 100 stars I would. Thank you again. Great people. You don’t see this kind of kindness anymore.
Take all my vehicles and my families to fishers they are very honest trustworthy and would never rip you off. Mike has a heart of gold and bends over backwards to help everyone .he does everything he can to help you .they are very knowledgeable on all cars and trucks. No problem going there highly recommend getting car worked on here!!
Had an emergency with my car. Called multiple places, none could (would) help me out. Fisher Automotive not only took my car right away, they gave me a ride home and kept open way after hours to get the job done. Top notch customer service, very friendly people. Highly recommend!!
These people are awesome. I called them to get my car towed. Within 20 minutes Eric was loading my car on the rollback. In 20 years, I've never had a tow truck show up so fast! Heather and the guys there are super nice and super quick!
They always get the job done when they promise. You may find a cheaper mechanic but you'll be hard pressed to find a greater & more trustworthy shop. Fishers handles all 3 of our vehicles. I won't go anywhere else.
Excellent service, friendly and reasonable staff, quick turn around, honest, and fair pricing. Prior to being referred to Fisher, I hadn't had the best luck with mechanics and garages. No surprises, no endless waiting, they're thorough, if you dont need it, they wont do it and you will not over pay. Great to deal with!
