My tire blew and their tow truck came super fast which I appreciated since I was on the side of a busy road. I just got my car 6 months ago but already need all new tires which is a bummer but happy to have found what seems to be a fair local place.
Best tow company around by far! Greg has bailed me out multiple times all hours of the day and night! Price is always fair! Highly recommended on any project!
I needed two antique vehicles moved down a really steep driveway and Kochka took care of it. The driver was very competent and friendly and took care of my trucks for me. Great service.
Kochka's has come through for me time and time again. From towing needs to exhaust work. They were able to save me a considerable amount of money by fixing exhausts on my vehicles rather than having to deal with replacing them. The repairs have always been done in a timely and professional manner. I highly recommend them for any towing or car maintenance needs.
I totaled my car in Leechburg & this was the place notified to tow my car. After speaking with staff several times, I had to come on here to say that they were so polite & empathetic to my situation. I had come to find that an entire family works for this establishment & I felt anything high valued accidentally left in my car from that night I knew would be safe & it was. They did everything they could to help my situation & put my mind at ease with their part. I wish I was from the area because if God forbid I ever was in an accident again, these are the people I would want to help me. We live in a cold world where most businesses are understaffed & over worked. A lot of times that has an impact on customer service. Not saying these guys are, but I'm saying this day & age it's hard to find good, solid, helpful people who treat customers as the family they already are. Can't thank them enough for the heart warming experience I was given in a matter of complete crisis. They're truly the best.
Was out delivering in a loaner truck and got a flat. Truck had no spare so I was stranded. Owner came out in 20 minutes and was able to plug the tire right on the side of the road. Fast and fair price. Was back on the road in 15 minutes. Appreciate it.
A close family member is struggling with memory issues and I called Kochka several times asking them to please not tow either of this person's cars. Mr. Kochka seemed sympathetic and said he would not. HOWEVER, they not only towed one of the vehicles, they allowed my family member to GIFT their car to the tow truck driver. The owner refuses to return any of my calls. It was really disgusting to take advantage of my unwell family member. I will never deal with this company again.
Unbelievably disrespectful to walk-in customers. The mechanic in the first bay wouldn't have been more rude to me if he had literally spit on me when I walked in and asked if he could look at my truck.
Bad experience. Adding things to my car/bill with out contacting me first and demanding I pay. Completely ignored my requests of wheel bearing/ alignment. Went in for brakes/rotors/wheel bearing/ alignment. And when I picked my car up they did brakes/rotors/and added a caliper to my bill that I never asked for. I was told it was seized. When I asked to see the old caliper they said they already sent it away. So how was I suppose to know if they were lying to me or not? Bill was 631$ and 2/3rds of what my car went in for wasn’t even looked at and there was no test drive I’m assuming because my car sounds just as bad as when I took it in. I wouldn’t go back! Be careful of this place. Their excuse was they didn’t have my number, but I called the store on my personal so why wouldn’t they write it down from the caller I.D. when they talked to me in the first place. Or why wouldn’t they have asked me for it just in case they would need to talk to me? Pretty unprofessional. Also. Caliper was not new it’s a used one that was just spray painted silver.
I recommend kochka! They were very friendly when I called around 11:30pm for a tow. Came within 30 minutes, quickly got my vehicle on the truck and charged exactly what they said they would on the phone. Driver was friendly and attentive.
Fixed flex pipe on one of my cars, dirt cheap, great work! They are my go-to for any work that I can't or don't feel like doing to my car . As a former mechanic, overall gear head, and hobbyist car builder, it's hard to find mechanics you can trust. These guys are beyond trustworthy with the spanners!
We simply call when it's time for an oil/inspection or an issue and they get us in the schedule within a week. We usually will leave car there the night before and they call when finished. Reasonably priced and the guys are really kind and knowledgeable. Confident in leaving our vehicles in their hands.
It depends what you're being towed for I guess how you look at it if you're happy or not popo or having them tow your car you're not happy everything s*** if you break down the prices are different so I'm just letting you know I can't and it all depends what you're being towed for
I needed a tow on a Sunday evening and they came to the rescue when all others just flat out said no! And they didn't overcharge! I definitely recommend!
Excellent service and price. They will be getting more of my work. They did a wonderful job and the employees were great. Give them a call. You will be pleased you did.
Pretty fair prices. Can take a while to get an appointment sometimes, but I guess that's a good sign of the shops always busy. They don't try to get you for extra stuff/work they're already swamped with jobs so they just do what you ask them to do And it's always done right!
Get my car fixed here all the time when it needs it and the guys in the garage are nice and pilot. The lady's who run the store can be rude to you at times explicitly the older one named eve. Had my 5 year old nephew with me one time he was picking out candy and she told him to shut up cos the TV was on.
No one likes to need a tow, but if you do need one, they got the skill and equipment to get you out of some tough spots. But most of all they charge a fair rate. They don't take advantage of your misfortune.
My vehicle was wrecked, not by me, towed by Kochka. When I called them to ask wear my vehicle was located they said there was a hold on it by the police. Very rude during the process. Found out the police never faxed in or ordered such a hold. Every time communicating with them nothing but short, rude and ignorant answers. After it was released I asked for the address and was told, they didn’t know it. When I asked to please find out they seemed irritated. When at last came back with the address I said thank you and they hung up. Customer service awful! Tim, the mechanic, the working man, he was very nice! I won’t buy a piece of penny candy from Kochka’s!

If I could rate higher than five, I would! Greg and his driver Rich got my truck and I out of a pickle and back home after getting stranded in Kittanning with a flat tire. These guys helped out when nobody else could (or would), and I'd recommend them to anyone in the area needing heavy towing services!
The service here was great. My car needed towed and tmwe did not have to wait long at all. And the repairs they did were in a very timely manner also. The mechanic Tim was very good to my family!
All the Kochka Mechanics are the BEST! They have saved me numerous times in the past! Twice they have pulled screws out of my tires and patched them ASAP! They are great!
best business, I trust these guys. they do everything right and I never have any doubts about it. will be bringing my vehicle here and I recommended Kochkas to friends and family
