Never once had an issue with them or any of their workers at any of 3 or 4 different locations I’ve personally been to . My company does plenty of business with them in sales and buying of equipment. Some people read between the lines and some don’t .
Never again will I sell anything through them. Product description was sub-par and inaccurate, stating the engine couldn't be started but they never even tried, I started the unit and it ran well when I brought it to them. They didn't include any of the detailed info I initially emailed to them and proceeded to fail to communicate the status during the selling process. They failed to communicate title fees are paid by the seller, charging an additional $230 from the base expected commission $195 and then after they have my title and im committed to the sale they hit me with another $300 dollar document fee because I wouldn't perform an illegal action of sending them a replacement vin sticker. Overall it cost me $725 dollars for poorly executed auction where the item only brought $140. Had I known about all their extra fees I never would have sold through them.
Bought a nice Penske trailer from Ritchie bros. it was a good purchase a good deal and awesome condition, when i went to pick it up i was greeted and helped promptly by Chris and Scott which made the delivery quick and easy.

Bought about $160 worth of things from the auction and when I received the bill it was $800! Apparently there is a minimum $100 “service fee” PER ITEM. I understand having auction fees, but that’s highway robbery. I will NEVER recommend them again. Unless this policy is changed.
I bought five items and one of the most valuable items I purchased was missing at pick up. I figured by having sceduled pick up times, they would be able to keep a better eye on the lots, considering it was a whole pallet. I planned on selling items from this lot to cover the cost of the other items I purchased. I often try to do this at auctions. Very disappointed.
Never again. Drove 6 hours for 12:40 appointment. Big line of trucks waiting to be let in so give buyer # to gateman and wait for turn. Well 4 comes and I’m the cutoff. Gateman says we’ll start a whole new list tomorrow because everything was a mess. Had to pay for a hotel. Showup an hour before opening to get a good spot in line. Some truckers slept there who came after me yesterday, but because I left to sleep somewhere apparently I lost my spot in line even though they didn’t honor my spot yesterday. Whatever, I’m #5, well the nightman didn’t take our order # and just verbally told the new gateman the order, well my #5 turned to #7 and wouldn’t take changing it once the #’s were written. They mistaked a garbage truck for sale on the road as being in front somehow with #’s no less. Then once they started letting people in some trucks pull up saying they have an 8am appointment, 830 and theyre let in in front of us. So why did appointments not matter yesterday? Anyways, finally loading my forklift and loader busted my back tire. Now it rolls like a square on one side and I have to fix the damage somehow. It was running so I could have done it myself if not hustled in and out once it was my turn. Apparently all this backlog was because they were robbed a few weeks ago, well I’ll start by saying that’s no excuse for the lack of communication on how your yard runs. There were several of us who drove a long ways for an afternoon slot that were never serviced. We would have came in the morning if any of us knew. I'm sure my feelings are mutual with those there that they'd think twice before buying from this yard again.
Don’t even recommend one star horrible customer service worst experience with buying a vehicle in my life say they do a inspection but they obviously don’t from the vehicle I received wouldn’t run took it to the shop had a bad motor in it said it ran fine in the description and that it was inspected
We had 4 other people help us in 2 days with the same problem and the only lady that was our savior was Anna in the North East Region USA. She knows more about what is going on all the Auctions. I wish the company would reconsider hiring employees in the region that can’t speak English clearly. It took us more time on the phone trying to understand the person. But thank God for Anna she helped us in only 2 minuets.
Give her a raise she is worth it.
I bought a truck here two months ago and I strongly regret it. They messed up horribly in the title paperwork, they didn’t list truck issues on the posting. I already spent thousands of dollars fixing this truck and I was told it would take months to get the title.
It’s been frustrating and disappointing, I don’t recommend this place. They blame the COVID situation on why it would take months to get a new title. It’s unacceptable!!
If they would have listed the truck issues I wouldn’t have bought it. This truck is not worth the money I already spent.
They are not doing anything to make it up to me and that makes it a lot worse.
