I have been getting my car's serviced with tj for 10 or more years,That sould tell anyone what kind of service they have been providing myself along with friends and family.
I don’t know when the company changed but it did and for the worse. If you’re planning on getting your car inspected please read to save yourself from being taken advantage of…..you think you can trust people- WRONG and TJ Auto is one of them- so we found out today. Prior to my inspection. I got new tires and windshield wipers Saturday. 4 days later inspection day on a 4yr old car. We were told we needed brakes and rotors and windshield wipers for over $738. We said HECK NO!!!! NEVER AGAIN!! I had to pay $98 for a failed inspection thinking we will be back. No way!!! Please read this before taking you Echols to Tj’s. make your own educated decision. But you can longer trust that they have the consumers best interest in mind.

Thorough evaluation of vehicle, explanation of all my options and costs, took time to answer all my questions and reservations, did QUALITY work at very reasonable price, location is accessible and easy to get to, staff is so friendly and down to earth that I didn't want to leave.
Honestly, they treated me like family, I guess I am as I won't be taking my vehicle anywhere else.
Had my travel trailer in for inspection, brake and wheel bearing maintenance, as well as adding new TPMS sensors to enable the trailer tires show up on my Truck information center. TJ was persistent and made everything good after researching a firmware update. I’m very satisfied and will continue to using this service center.
Based on my experience with T.J.'s concerning a major trailer repair (see that review below), I have been using T.J.'s for inspection, maintenance, and repair of my 2019 F-150. They are very good at keeping up with and reminding me of recommended maintenance items. They are also great for major repairs such as the recent major engine repair on my truck after an unfortunate internal failure. They do great work in a very professional manner and I highly recommend T.J.'s for any automotive or trailer maintenance and repairs.

Last fall on a trip to Utah, the suspension on my travel trailer tore away from the frame. I had some rather shabby looking repairs done on the road that got me back home. The trailer really needed serious repair work done by a knowledgeable professional. The RV dealerships that the manufacturer referred me to, including the one where I had purchased the trailer, weren't willing to tackle the problem. I found T.J.'s by doing a google search. He was more than willing to help me. He even tried working with the manufacturer on my behalf but in the end they refused to help. Knowing that I wanted the trailer to be safe and trustworthy, T.J. came up with a plan for repair. His thorough evaluation of the suspension revealed several excessively worn parts that would likely be the source for additional failures in the near future. He forwarded an electronic estimate with photos marked to show all problem areas and was in constant contact with me via text and phone as this unique repair project progressed to completion. He reenforced the frame and all of the hangers for the suspension making it stronger and better than new! He has contacted me several times since then to see how things are going as I use the repaired trailer. T.J. and his staff are a wonderful group of people who take their work seriously and really care about their customers. It is rare these days to get such a high level of quality work and customer service! Thanks T.J. , for getting me back on the road with confidence!
TJs is one of the most complete vehicle repair shops I have ever been too. They are truly professional they send you photos and give an estimate before they do anything! Providing the measurements and proof of what need fixed is incredibly important. Thanks for the great service

I've been to TJ's so many times I'm having to repeat my praises for them. They have never led me astray, pushed costly products, nor treated me unfairly. This is the best garage with the nicest people in it. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND going to them for any mechanical issues.

I had a flat tire close to the shop. They very kindly came down to my rescue to fix my tire. Staff was very nice, good to know friendly people are still around home. Very satisfied with their service.

My family has used TJs for several years for just about everything we don’t do ourselves. The best alignments at the best price. They treat you like family and are all very hardworking and knowledgeable. These aren’t the type of folks to call and say you need a new flux capacitor, or that you’re low on blinker fluid. Very honest and trustworthy.
My daughter was having electrical issues with her car. I booked her appointment online. It was to be dropped off at 8 a.m. for her 9 a.m. appointment on a monday. We dropped it off the night before. She hadn't heard from there and in an email it says dont call us we will call you. By 2:15 p.m. we figured she should of heard something. So I called them because, they didn't have the decency to call her and let her know what the procedure for this matter entailed. So the woman on the phone told me her car was on the list to go in. Let me remind you her appointment was for 9 a.m. I asked how long it would take. She told me 2-3 days. Im thinking inches back of my head you couldn't call her and tell her this information. A lot of women are not mechanically inclined. My daughter was sitting in the room with me and told them nevermind. I'm coming down to pick it up. The lady on the phone rudely said you can do that but, Goodluck with that since your car is in for battery starting issues. So we got in our vehicle and drove downtown pick it up. This was around 2:45. Her car was still sitting in the same spot she parked it the night before. If they can't handle the volume of cars or have the respect of there customers to make them aware of what has to be done and the process that is entailed in it. The thing that pissed me off the most waz the ignorance of not receiving any kind of phone call but the girl on the phone was extremely rude. They dont even deserve 1 star in my eyes.
I went there a few days ago for the first time because they sponsor my kids’ baseball teams. Local companies who contribute to their community need our support! Now it’s the only place I’ll go.They went above and beyond for a fair price. They patched my front tire and also adjusted the air in the back tires I had recently bought somewhere else (that place overinflated.) They checked so many things to make sure my family is safe, and I can’t think of anywhere else that does that. All for less than other places would charge for a simple patch!
Other places that patch tires (especially national chains) try to upsell to new tires. They didn’t do that. It’s hard to leave happy when expecting to spend $30 and winding up being scared into spending a couple hundred. They listened to what I needed and treated me with respect.
The lobby is welcoming and has drinks and snacks. They have several options for scheduling, get people in as quickly as they can, and I can tell they work hard to give excellent service.
My 5 year old daughter walked in with me and said to the front desk, “You’re pretty!” 😆 They were so welcoming to my kids, and next time I’ll make sure to bring coloring books so they’re not so crazy.
In summary, check them out! You’ll never go anywhere else.
Great service, detailed diagnostics sent right to your phone and fast, guaranteed work. Been taking our cars to TJ for years and can’t imagine taking it anywhere else.
I've used T.J.'s Auto for trailer inspection a few times now. They are always enjoyable to work with. They offer a secure after-hours pick-up option and they have a large open area that made turning the trailer around very easy!
I had my vehicle serviced here for an inspection and oil change. This is what the shop did to my oil drain plug.
I went to a jiffy lube place for my next oil change (been there before never any issues) and he could not get it to budge. The head of the bolt was so gnarled it took him 20 mins with three sets of tools to finally get it off. He also mentioned that it was so tight almost like they put it back on with an impact gun. Usually, I would shrug this off but it is not the first issue I’ve had with this garage. I actually had my inspection done elsewhere this year because I was so upset with them after having tire issues that were never resolved.
My tire pressure light would come on frequently as if there was a slow leak. After a second time taking it to the shop, they talked me into getting new tires to fix the issue. I think it was just a very expensive band-aid for a problem they couldn’t or didn’t want to fix. My tire sensor light came on the next day after getting new tires. So, the issue was never fixed and I bought a whole set of new tires for no reason. I bet they got a kick outta that.
Another issue arose when a co-worker of mine had their vehicle serviced there. A bag of seed mix (for deer food plots) magically disappeared from the back of his truck, never to be seen again. Must have grew legs and walked away while it was at the garage. The good lug nuts that were on the tires must of grew legs and walked away while they were there, too, since the truck came back with new crappy lug nuts that looked similar to my poor oil pan drain plug.
I don’t know what they’re doing there but I will never be back again. Luckily, a new oil plug was only $6 at the Advanced Autos store. If they ruined a more expensive part, I would be doing a lot more than writing this review.
The folks at T.J.'s Auto were fantastic to work with. I walked in after purchasing a new car that needed summer tires to be replaced with all seasons. The staff made it an incredibly easy process for me to order my new tires to be delivered at their shop, replace the tires along with an alignment, and then even dropped the old summer tires off at my house as to not damage my new vehicle. Incredible experience working with them.
I recently experienced an electrical problem with the exterior keypad on the driver’s door of my 2016 Ford Explorer. My local mechanic recommended TJ’s Auto to me and I’m very grateful for that. Everyone I dealt with at TJ’s were very kind and courteous. They did a great job fixing my problem and I appreciate that they could also take care of my brakes while they had my car there. I knew I needed new brakes before I took it to TJ’s but I needed to get the electrical problem fixed first because I was tired of having a dead car battery every other day. So when I found out they could also take care of my brakes, I was relieved to have that taken care of, too. Their pricing is very fair and the work was done in a timely manner. I will definitely take a car to them in the future. I highly recommend T.J.’s Auto, Truck, & Trailer Repair LLC.

I go way back with this place; I would say I've been coming here for 9 years now and have watched this place grow from the garage and office space that you could barely walk into. Whereas now they have a beautiful walk in seating area, full coffee and snack bar, and a front desk! Paula does a great job explaining everything to you over the phone to let you know what's going on with your vehicle. Plus, the texting updates they send with all the pictures keeps you up-to-date with your vehicle like you're right there. Adrienne runs the show and TJ and his master mechanical crew get your vehicle back to you and running better than it ever was!! I am always so pleased and excited to get my trucks and car back from TJ's. I highly recommend this place to anyone with commercial or personal vehicles.
The Mechanics, TJ, and Dustin were able to source and replace an engine & radiator, in my daughter's 2012 Honda Civic Hybrid, along with battery replacement and front brake pad/rotor replacement. Service handled in a reasonable amount of time, with some warranty, and professionally. I trust this team at TJ's Auto - Bulger, PA.
