Overall ok....price could be better i feel....one comment ...why are garbage cans turned over in winter.....there isn't worms n stuff at that time..I understand in the hot months.....

Get service elsewhere. Up your rates randomly, dont pick up your garbage like their suppose to then when you have more then a can because they didnt pick it up, they leave it sit at the curb. Hands down worst garbage company around!

I do not recommend WM for your residential/small business garbage service. Ever since WM took over our previous locally owned company, it has gone down hill. The customer service is the worst! If you can even get through to a real person, don't hang up without resolution as they will tell you they will call back in 15 minutes and 15 days later you still won't hear from them. It's almost Feb and our dumpster hasn't been emptied since Oct. And yes, we have paid our bill, reluctantly. To top it off, our bill jumped $30 the start of the year. Every representative that I have sooke to so far has lacked empathy and sympathy. They are just there for a paycheck and don't care about their employer screwing over the customer. They are collecting their money but we aren't receiving the service.

Ordered residential service, WM said first service would be 1/7. Charged me for service and tote. No tote delivered, truck just came and went. Online CS in India unhelpful and makes claims vastly different from what WM's emails stated.

Sorry it won't let me post no stars....I worked 6 hours to clear the driveway so they could pic up...they sent a Pic saying it was unacceptable for pick up conditions..this was after the driver reported a pick up that he didnt.the pic he did report was from the first storm...we're in grand valley..if enough people request hunsburger service they will come out..get rid of waste management..they are worse than the trash they pick up..

They expect us to pay for services they don't give us. The driver has an excuse every time he is supposed to pick it up. Garbage has not been picked up but driver said he pick up and as you can see the same garbage has been there for weeks. When I call to complain they either hang up on you or just give excuses to why the driver didn't get it or in my case it went from he picked it up to it wasn't assessable that day all in one conversation

Was paying an enormous amount for one bag of trash every week. I called waste Management and they told me they have a two bag program for $50 every 3 months. I signed up for the two bag program and now about a year later I'm paying almost $100 a month. I'm not sure why it's doubled since I signed up last year. I think it's time for me to shop around and look at other services. Thanks

I'm pleased with the service but not so pleased with a 25% rate increase. I won't be able to afford that kind of increase every year.

Service is OK, way over priced and constantly raise your bill. My bill was around $60 a mth when Advanced Disposal owned the company, in the couple years its been WM my bill has consistently increased. My bill now over $120 a mth. Update: Here we are less than a year later and my bill is now over $150/mth for them to get my garbage biweekly

Usually all is ok, however this happens more than it should. I got a notice today stating my normal day is being rescheduled a day later. It makes a big inconvenience for us because if we leave bags at curb animals get into the garbage. Taking it down 2 days in a row is a hassle.

The best garbage service I have ever had and that isn’t joking!!! My last garbage service had damaged my car when they delivered my garbage cans, they had drug them along side my car & put deep scratches on my car, and then they wouldn’t admit to it, or do anything about it, so for me truth means everything !! I’m happy with the convenience of the online registering for a new account, then the timely manner of garbage cans after!!! Also the cost is very fair and other garbage companies half the time don’t take all the garbage and they do!! Thank you!! I appreciate your business!!

i like the service except for 1 thing you will not come to my porch and get my trash.i am disabled personand i cant always fine someone to take my garbage out so then it sits in my house for a whole week until i can get someone, i dont know why you cant do this for me ? its in my front yard my porch. why cant you just back your truck up to my front porch and get my trash? thank-you

Big companies don't care for the older generations. I am being forced to pay for eight bags a week and it is only myself and my husband. We only put out maybe two bags a week. I asked for a senior discount and was told that there is no such thing even though I was getting one until you people negotiated a new higher contract with my community.

I have had this service for several years now. I am very pleased with the service and the personnel that provide it. I pay my bill for the whole year, and the only question that I might ask is why such an increase in price. Last year the price of fuel was much higher than this year so far. My annual bill last year was $464/year. It increased to $521 this year. I understand that the inflation of goods and services has increased, but I was under the impression that the almighty Trump and his dream team was going to put a stop to this Great Depression! I guess I was wrong to think that?…

This company is horrible. 3 weeks and still no pick up. They keep saying due to weather even though weather is not bad. Our roads are not bad. We never had issues before! They will not credit my money because they say weather is beyond their control. They just sent me a text after 4pm today to put me off another week! This is ridiculous!

have been having issues with pick ups. We received a msg saying due to inclement weather they were unable to pick up, no discussion of a credit on the bill or a new scheduled pick up time. our dumpsters full now and with 2 weeks of no pick up and 2 more weeks to wait what are we supposed to do..... Drive ways plowed, bills paid in full every month..... What gives?

The absolute worst company I have ever had the displeasure of working with. Almost never never never pick up garbage on schedule. Consistently changes pick up days. Apparently my service is out of Warren PA and there is something deeply wrong with the service. I’ve been told it’s truck trouble but good news! The truck has been fixed. Oh wait, we’re going to reschedule pickup 3 out of 4 weeks each months. Absolutely no offers to help, no money credited NOTHING, Just oops sorry.

Absolutely terrible. The drivers are great when they arrive, but they’re clearly under staffed, because they only show up on the right day 1/3 of the time. One pickup was missed in November, followed by 3 more weeks during a major snowstorm - no reimbursement was given, even though one missed week was without any snow, and most other nearby areas only missed days of service during the storm. Despite all that, our prices were just raised, more hikes and less service is expected next year, and it’s impossible to opt out for anyone else - as if there were anyone else, when they keep buying out competition. Avoid them like the plague, because with how much they leave trash out and the critters they attract, they’ll probably *cause* a plague.

We have been customers for almost a year. The drivers that I have spoken with have been very professional. I received clear instructions on where the best placement for our dumpster would be and possible obstacles, low tree limbs, that may interfere. I followed the recommendations, cut the lower branches, and have had excellent service. Only missed pick up was my fault due to another delivery blocking our driveway. I use the app and can always look for my next pickup. The customer service is outstanding. It seems they actually appreciate our business.

Service is good and always on time unless there is a holiday, of course. I've used their services for years and won't change unless I HAVE to :) The only 'complaints' I really have is 1. since they have the automatic arm now to pick up the cans, not everything gets taken out of the residential container. Some bags or boxes get stuck. 2. Wish they had different pick up schedules and price points to reflect them... Usually only need my container emptied twice a month but I still pay the same as someone who utilizes the weekly schedule.

Decent service worked with us on the rates and amount of bags, Competitively! Although most of the time containers have been handled with care and put back where they belong, at least by the garbage crew, the recycle crew has dropped my box in the street 2x and never pick them up. Prices for bulk pick up are not helpful.

I have been using Waste Management's trash service for the past year, and while their service is generally reliable, the cost is a significant drawback. The pickup schedule is consistent, and the staff is courteous and professional. My trash and recyclables are always collected on time, and I haven't experienced any missed pickups. However, the cost of the service has been steadily increasing, and it has become a substantial expense. Compared to other waste management providers in the area, Waste Management's prices are notably higher. Despite the good service, it's hard to justify the premium pricing. For this reason, I am giving a three-star rating. If they could offer more competitive rates, I would happily rate them higher.

I originally contracted Advanced Disposal to service the small apartment I manage. When WM bought AD my bill tripled in price. For a year I received reliable service and was content to remain with WD. Suddenly WM stopped picking up the trash (they were contracted to pick it up behind the apartment building rather than at the curb) for an entire month. I called 2-3 times before the issue was resolved—they never put a note to pick the trash up behind the building so the new driver did not know. They scheduled a couple of extra pickups that never happened, but eventually it was resolved and they resumed pickup. By then I was upset and had started to look at other trash services, and I found a local company that I decided to switch to. I called WM and was told I had a 3 year contract with them (mind you I had never signed a new contract with WM and had no idea the one with AD stood) and I could not break it without paying significant early termination fees. I called and talked with 3 different customer service reps before I finally got one who was willing to walk me through the process of termination and also how to reduce the fees. He put me on the lowest rate possible to finish out the terms of service (the contract ends this June). I have to write a letter of termination prior to 90 days before the termination date but no more than 120 days or else they automatically renew the 3 year contract. I’m so upset at how difficult and painful they made this that I will never ever be going back to WM. I will be calling to cancel my own home services with them, and I will tell everyone I know not to use WM for trash services. Way to drive away your customers by looking at short term profits only, WM.

This is pathetic. There's no way to contact the local office. Calling WM central gives you an automated system with limited options. Not all of those options are even available in this rural area. It's kind of awful to say "hey, we can offer you this service" and then immediately coming back with "actually that's not available for you." Saying "representative" or pressing zero gives you, "Okay, I can help you with that," and then it just repeats old information. I've paid to have eight bags picked up weekly. Last week I put out five and they only took three of them. I can't even call to have them come by and get the ones they left. There is no phone number that will get me the local office. There is no chat option on the website. If there's an actual reason they didn't take those bags then I can't get ahold of anyone to find out what it is. I've been patient and not posted about other issues I've had. People make mistakes and I believe in being forgiving. The threshold has been met now and I insist that the service quality in this area needs to change. We are paying for higher quality than we are getting. Maybe they need to pay their people better so that they are willing/able to do a good job. Maybe they need to hire more staff so that the current staff isn't over worked. Maybe they should get a local phone number and hire a secretary. Heck. I'll do it! I like to think that these big companies are actually doing good work and not just padding the owner's pockets, but that gets harder to believe with every passing year. Do better, guys. Please. I know you can, and it is worth it to help the communities and the people you serve.
