Wengers used to be great! It has recently changed. What I notice is the fruit is priced too high considering it is occasionally moldy. The previous owner would offer fruits and vegetables in poor condition for free or very discounted. This helped the poor and farm animals and made Wengers a great grocery store!

It's a great store with great prices. Some of the items may be expired. Also some of the produce might need used immediately. So I would be a little cautious with the produce. They also have a deli.

Perhaps the management can remind the check out clerks that total silence AND roughly tossing the customers groceries down the counter, that the customers don't appreciate being treated like that at all !!! NOT ACCEPTABLE.

Clean facility, pleasant staff, wide variety of random items. Cheap prices, good bang for your buck. Bargains galore!

I used to LOVE Wenger’s. However, ever since they sold it, it has become terrible. I gave it three chances and I’m done. The majority of their items are now expired or very close to expiration—this was never the case before. Quality has gone down and prices have gone up. The produce section is absolutely repulsive; many items are already beginning to rot. A once wonderful store is now a pity, and it’s a shame.

After they sold, the prices went up to a point I shop weis for better deals. The expiration dates are more rapid. They no longer do the freebies. The whole facility is sliding downhill.

They have amazing finds at the best prices around. You never really know what new exciting surprises may appear week to week. While core grocery essentials remain ever present with a full deli counter, new specialty items from quality brand names are regularly to be found about the store as well! The staff are very kind, professional, and accommodating while the building is well maintained and inviting. I love saving on groceries at Wenger's; i get more food per dollar.

I hate to change my review to 1 star but the cashier that checked me and my mother out was extremely rude. She was slamming out things around aggressively and had a terrible attitude. I was taken back I've never experienced this here before, were regular shoppers here but I'm taking by business elsewhere. We're paying customers we deserve Courtesy. I ALWAYS treat cashiers and everyone with respect. She was a younger girl blonde. I can't remember her name.

Still markedly better than under the past owner. And the employees seem much much happier. They could not keep staff before, and now have 80 plus very good employees, English and plain both. I love the new Wengers. But I have a question. As Senior Citizens sometimes we just need a few things. I've worked in grocery stores. A 10 items or less aisle would be nice. And when there aren't small purchases the cashier calls over carts full from another aisle. Again today, all I needed was a bag of sugar. The employee at the customer service desk, couldn't ring me up because "we don't do that here". And soooooo my question why not???? Please, seriously, can a solution be found? As much as we love your store, I'm not sure if we want to continue to shop there.

We were in awe of the amount of products they offer. Prices are great, and love that you can buy products by the case. Staff was very friendly. The building is well kept.

Incredible deals that feel like treasures waiting to be discovered! Unbelievably low prices that will fill your refrigerator and freezer to the brim, ensuring you have everything you need for weeks to come. And oh, the deli! It’s simply extraordinary – a paradise of flavors that will tantalize your taste buds. Just keep in mind, they’re closed on Mondays, so don’t miss out!

My family LOVES this store! It is about an hour from us, but we can always get all kinds of groceries, baby things, and other household must haves there! You never know what you’re going to find, but there’s always such a large selection at a great price! The only thing I’d love to see, is their facebook page more active and to see some of their weekly deals/photos of new stuff they have in!

Our family loves this store! There are numerous reasons why we are loyal, but the biggest is that Wenger's has made grocery shopping fun. Great deals all the time, and it's like going on a treasure hunt as you just never know what you will find.

This was my first time shopping at Wenger's today, and it definitely will not be my last. Very nice store, large store. Quite a variety. I filled a cart and paid less than $100! I even had some frozen meats in there and a bath bench! It's about an hour drive for me to get there but I will make it a day trip to Wenger's and also go to L&L while in the area, that will definitely make the drive worthwhile!

Discount grocery store. Very big. Have seen some better prices at other discount grocery stores for the same item. Items include deli, dairy, frozen, only some fresh produce, and cold section. Majority is prepackaged, shelf staple foods. There is also an isle with general merchandise. Store accepts EBT.

This store is great!!! As an avid Whole Food shopper (I LOVE Whole Foods grocery store), I really like this store as you can find inexpensive organic brands. I basically go there 4 times a week with my baby. The workers and cashiers are friendly. It best to go often as they don't always have the same stuff. When you DO find something you like- CLEAN THE SHELF!!!! LOL Cause it won't be their again. I see a few reviews stating that they don't like how religious the workers/owners are but ummm....why is their religious affiliation a problem? Just because they stated they do not agree with the lifestyle of the LGBTQ community, that makes them evil? So if someone disagrees with your lifestyle you automatically have a problem with the person or group? I am a Christian as well. I do not agree with homosexuality. It goes against the bible. I have friends who are apart of the LGBTQ and they know I love them as a PERSON but I HATE their lifestyle choice. Why go to the store if you feel so negatively about the people and their religious belief? If you feel so STRONGLY about their views about the LGBTQ community, if you are that upset, why go to their store and SPEND YOUR MONEY their? When you can find another store that aligns with YOUR belief system? Because the LGBTQ community forces you to accept their lifestyle. The only group of people that goes out of their way to make you tolerate their lifestyle choice. So they rather protest in the parking lot of the grocery store instead of using that energy into going to GAINTS, WALMART, WEIS and another grocery stores near by. Let me tell you how these workers are treated by those who hate that they are Christians. I was at the store 2 weeks ago. I'm in the aisle on the right hand side. A worker(young girl) is on the left hand side of the aisle stocking the shelves. I see an senior (maybe 60) come into the aisle and wait a little distance behind the workers cart. The worker did not see her as she is packing items on the shelve. I looked at the senior lady and pulled my cart down so she can pass in the middle of us. SHE REFUSES! SHE THEN TAKES HER CART AND RAM IT INTO THE WORKERS CART!!!! The cart then bumped the worker and she jumped. The worker realizing that the lady wanted to pass she said "I'm sorry". The senior lady looked so angry and stared at her for a good 4 seconds before passing by. I thought I might have to call the police cause she looked like she was about to lay hands on the young girl. I just shook my head and told the young girl "That was not nice of that lady." The young girl gave me a quick smile and walked off quickly. Clearly rattled by what happened. Why do people do this? Why? Why go to the store just to be mean and unkind? Anywho, if you don't mind hearing low playing hymns, inexpensive organic groceries and great deals on multivitamins, go to this store! You'll save a lot of pennies and in the process you might find Jesus ?. John 3:16
