So these guys are the best period. They treat me and my family like family. I tell them no rush and our vehicles are done by 9am. I want for nothing from the guy's at this location. I give them a curve ball and they hit it out of the park every time. EVERY TIME!!!

I came in without an apt, and I explained how the other tire place promised to do it, and said all of a sudden it was a two hour wait! So I came in kost in forest city, and John, was amazing he said they were out to lunch, but he talked to Brad and they both took their lunch time to do my light! I am so thankful that there are good people in the world still! Thank you John And Brad, you guys are life savers!!!
Called john at the front desk alittle after open and asked if he could mount tires and do an oil change for me this week, he got me in same day with a smile. Once dropped off the truck was in and out FAST.
Called and asked about availability after leaving my vehicle at another location over night for first come first serve oil change/ tire rotation they couldn’t get me in. Forest City took me in immediately mid day and got me serviced. This is not the first time this location done this for me and I couldn’t be more thankful. I need to learn the closer location is always the most convenient
Well i went in to kost tire in Carbondale this morning to get an clock sping installed and oil change and inspection. I had all my parts to save time and money. Basically the management told me to leave because he doesn't want to use my parts , he wanted me to pay dubble by using there part not to mention they charge 50 buck an hour more then any other mechanic in the area. So of course I left . I only went there because I wanted it done today . The really couldn't believe he's cussing me out and told me to leave . And of course I won't be back. The last time I was there I had to get my exhaust pip welded and they charged me 100 bucks to fix it well 2 weeks later it came apart . Really bad workmanship. I will of course never go there again. The management is a fruitcake, totally out of control. Have a blessed day!!!
Excellent Service. Great Management team! They were able to take me in immediately on a Saturday afternoon. Carbondale Kost was not able to accommodate me and referred me to Forest City. Thankful for the referral and will definitely be back.

Plucked the nail in my tire and patched it up for free. Unbeknownst to us, the valve on that same tire was faulty. The next day I brought it back and they managed to diagnose and fix it, again for free.
John and the technicians at Kost Tire saved my day! Blown out tire on a Saturday afternoon was set to ruin my weekend. Not only did they travel to get ne two tires but they installed them and had me on my way in 30 minutes. Can’t thank you enough.
This Kost Tire in Forest City is one of the better ones. Fantastic service and very clear communications, no run arounds they do the work. There are three Kost Centers closer to me then the one in Forest City if that tells you anything.
The assistance at both the Carbondale and Forest City location(s) was outstanding. Without advanced notice, I needed a tire repaired. The collaborative effort from both locations went above any expectations. Thank you so much!
This location is Amazing! Went in this morning because two of my tires had a slow leak. Turned out to be each had a nail stuck in them. Chris, John, Matt all took very good care of me, repaired my tires and I was back on the road in no time. Thank you guys you have a repeat customer anytime I need car work done. The Best!

Chris, John and Ed (the repairman) were very helpful; and Ed found/repaired my slow leaking tire in record time this afternoon. They were swamped when I arrived, but still managed to get me back on the road in a reasonable amount of time. It was my second experience at the Forest City Kost location and both were excellent. I will use Kost again.

I took my car to get tires replaced in December. We messed up the tires between having them installed till now with the road conditions between here and the roads in scranton. I called them up and explained the problem I saw over the phone. They said come in so they can take a look. They took it in and saw the problem. They explained everything clearly and what the problem is. Unfortunately, we failed by not taking the car in at the proper time for the tire rotation. Thankfully, they still helped me to fix the problem and make sure we had no other issues. Thank you so much for your help today. You guys have a great team of honest, hardworking people.
Having success in finding a tire for our 1950 Cadillac a few months ago, my brother and I revisited Kost Tire. We were greeted by John and Chris. We had a flat tire on our 83 year old mother’s car. They took care of repairing the tire and got us back on the road quickly. Both gentlemen were courteous and professional. Thank you for your excellent customer service.
I took my wife and her mother out shopping in Dickson City, on our way home traveling on the Casey Highway, we ran over an unknown object and my tire was going flat very rapidly. I was right next to a gas station near Waymart and pulled in near the air pump which was out of commission. it was a mix of rain and snow with a good bit of snow expected. I plugged the tire and it still was leaking so I put a second plug in, and although still leaking slowly I proceeded towards Pleasant Mount, just a couple miles past 247S those plugs blew out. My wife Chris had Kost Tire's number in the glove box, so we called them, the time was heading for 4:00 pm, John answered the phone, we explained our situation and he said they were actually jammed with customers due to the big storm in route, but he said if we could get over to them, they would take care of us. I double plugged, pumped up to 40 lbs with a small compressor I carry, turned around and headed over, and with 19 lbs. left we made it to their shop, and as told they were packed. We were met by John, and Chris who actually took our vehicle in and did the work himself. We were able to get 4 new tires and while they had it, Chris did an oil change which was due anyways. I can't express how much we appreciate John and Chris and all those that work at the Forrest City Kost. They got us out of a bind, and back on the road, and we made it home safely. I would like to express our appreciation with a "Thank You for your service", not only have we been past customers, but will continue to be, and will reccomend Forrest City Kost Tire to all our friends and family. Chris and John took great care of my Mom's car. I was in town visiting and Mom's car tires needed some TLC. I ended up buying a new set of Hankok tires and lug nuts for the front tires which was a last minute surprise. That said, I would like to thank the Kost team for doing a great job at a great price!
I had a great experience! Winter tires were quickly ordered and delivered to the shop. I made an appointment within the week and did not wait long at all. The pricing was great and very competitive for winter tires. Chris and the staff were really helpful. I would highly recommend.
Great experience yesterday at Kost Forest City. Customer service reps were friendly and more importantly knowledgeable. Listened to my concerns and established a plan. Technicians also top notch. Found the nail that I thought I might have and easily patched the tire. Oil change, tire patch and rotation done quickly and efficiently while I waited. Great place to buy tires also. HIGHLY recommend.
I came here to get 4 tires for my wife. They ordered them in from another location and had them mounted and balanced in under an hour. They also informed me of the rebate for the tires we purchased and were able to get $75 back. I also brought my truck in for a tire patch and they took care of it immediately after I pulled in. They are all awesome guys and I would recommend coming here for tires
I just wanted to drop a note and say thank you for the great service today at the Forest City Kost store. I haven't taken my vehicles to Forest City for quite some time because of the last management and service. I was very happy to see John and Chris and new faces, all friendly and professional. They were actual able to squeeze me in on Friday afternoon to get some needed work done so I was able to have my truck for the weekend.
