This place is a ripoff 31 lb of aluminum minus 2 lb for the basket should have been 29 receipt says 19 had 19 lb of cans receipt says 17 after it said 29 and you take off 10 for the basket had 4 lb of copper only got paid for three the bucket doesn't even weigh a half a pound a little ice cream bucket this place is a joke multiple times going and getting ripped off recommend going somewhere else also saw a shady deal go down where a customer slipped a guy working the scale money after he got paid the guys working the scale inside with all the tattoos he got some kind of side business going there no matter what you say to them it's always all you got to take off for the baskets and stuff but yet you do and you still give me less than what I had so thank you very much I will not be going back there with any kind of aluminum copper brass they're only good for heavy loads of scrap
Hours of operation don't seem to be accurate. Made a 30 mile trip, only to find they the yard closed up. Not a good first time experience, not sure I will return.
Don't believe the hours of operation. 4:30 close really means like 4:15 or 4. Gate was down got on scale at 4:20. Nope they rolled the office window blind down.
I've been scraping about 40 years so I know the difference between cast alum and die cast took in about 150 pounds the guy look at and said there is die cast in it and he found 1 acre and without me knowing he said it all was dirty so got a low price and he made it all die cast. But I know better so now I won't deal with them any more they say one thing and do another
This place sucks change pricing on a dime notice stop taking certain scrap without notice nothing's ever posted,if you want to make better money start going to Johnstown much better pricing and way less hassle,
