Salvation Army Family Thrift Store is a definite treasure I have shopped this particular store for years &u won't believe the finds. Whether it's clothing & shoes for the whole family; home goods of all kinds they have it at very good prices for today's high costs. I walked away with a gorgeous crocheted blanket in immaculate condition plus 3 bags more of stuff for under $50. Staff is so polite & helpful. Just keep in mind sometimes u have to be patient until the items u are looking for come in. Ample parking in side parking lot that is pay to park starting at a quarter for 15 minutes. Give it a try u won't be disappointed I promise you!!!!

Amateur treasure hunters definitely need to watch for some of their really big bargains. Especially those that "Somebody died for" as part of an Estate Liquidation. You see these rarely deals sometimes on the rare but durable brands that never go out of style, Levi's among several. Though I just recently started shopping here, (mainly because I want to support their Drug & Alcohol Rehab programs), I can say: I have never gotten a bad deal or a bad attitude at the Sally. Last week I actually found myself a new favorite shirt. It is a rare Billy Reid Sweater that I got for $5.99 at the Sally, [Most in PA probably never even heard of Billy Reid. And, in PA they probably never will, because very few bulk retailers ever afford to stock $180 sweaters, made in the U.S.A.]. Ever I went into Boscov's or Kohl's looking for a 96% discount on a sweater, they'd direct me to their clearance rack, laugh to themself and say beneath their breath that I was out of my cotton-picking mind...

They recently raised their sneaker prices by double!! I feel like they raised the sneaker prices because I personally would always ask about them and buy many pairs a few times a week. So I get punished for being a loyal customer. I do have to say the employee's there are absolutely fantastic!! The checkout tellers, the stockers, the helpers....all wonderful people!!

There clothes have bugs! Last week I bought a pair of paints. Tried it on before I washed it. (I know stupidity) Now I have an intense itch on my hip. ? I figured I’d warn everyone.

Reasonable prices. I go to find the kids summer/play clothes for cheap!

We went here before, there are so much choices! Awesome store for Pottsville.

I love shopping here to find clothes for myself and my little one. Their prices are reasonable and somedays you can find really great half-off deals! Every trip here has been a positive, & money-saving experience. I greatly recommend stopping in & taking a look around.

The store seems clean and prices are decent BUT they got rid of thier changing space were you could try clothing on (the vast majority of what they have) before buying. This is a BIG deal and a BIG bummer for me since everything thing is "All Sales Final". They really need to bring back a changing space.

I always shop Salvation Army because of their drug rehabilitation program. I've always heard great things about it! The Pottsville Salvation Army is the best thrift store I've ever been to! What a great selection and helpful staff! I will be back!

Good treasures to be found, some items priced a little high but if you dig you can get good deals esp with the daily sales

This is the place for bargins but, you never know when!! Shop here often,staff are always pleasant and helpful. Daily color tag specials..place looks a little run down but,I don't mind!!

great store for little trinkets and odds and ends

I went in there to shop until sometime while I was waiting for a couple to take care of some business at a different office nearby. They refused to let me use the bathroom because apparently too many people come in and shoot heroin or something I guess. I try to avoid businesses that don't have a public bathroom for their valued customers.

Nice, bright store, the staff here have always been friendly and sweet to kids.

I love shopping at this thrift shop. The staff is very friendly. There are always good deals on everything in this store. There's is also always alot of sales. Always end up more than I want to at this store because of good deals. I never leave angry. Very organized and well kept store.

The only place I was able to find jeans that fit, and I'm a big guy. Prices are good for some of the random treasures and clothes one might find. Neatly organized.

they have the best prices on slightly used clothing and nwt clothing also. Not to mention great domestic n household items with excellent pricing. Staff is always friendly n courteous!
