Great fast service, I needed to be picked up to pick up my car, and the driver was polite and drove very well. I was comfortable, which is rare when anyone else is driving me. The work done was exactly what was needed, no more, no less, and I am happy with the results. I will definitely be back for more regular services.

Took my wife's '21 Toyota Highlander in for transmission issues. The problem was quickly diagnosed, we were kept informed every step of the way. The total price was broken down by each service. We agreed that having it towed to a Toyota Facility would be our best bet to have them help with the cost. The car only has 71k miles on it. The diagnostic fee was very reasonable. I've certainly paid more at a Jeep dealer for one.

Joe Thurs Automotive slogan is "Beyond the Standard", "Reliable and Honest Service". By my experience they deliver! Had my son's vehicle towed in to their garage due to no start. Within an hour received a call with the diagnosis. Part arrived just over 24 hours later and car was fixed immediately this morning before closing at Noon for Christmas Eve! Ryan was so friendly and every step of the way provided details of what was going on with the car. I could not be any more impressed by the technician's quick diagnostic on the car and repair. We will use their services again when needed in the future.

I will always highly recommend this shop. They was able to help with options with payment plans. And got my car all fixed up in the matter of hours. Customer service was wonderful. They have a new customer for life. Thank you Agian

I had an issue with a fuel leak, unsure where it was coming from. I have been a long time customer of Joe Thurs. I was able to drop my car off the same day. At 4:30 that evening I received a call from the garage. I was told that the 'lock nut' that attaches the fuel line to the tank was leaking. The part was inexpensive, but I was told they needed to 'drop the tank' to get to the nut to replace it. $666.81 total labor/ cost. I explained that I didn't have the $ this close to Christmas and would be unable to get the work done right away. I was then told "2 more things. 1. There's play in the right front control arm so that'll need to be replaced. $528.75 2. The left rear caliper is leaking brake fluid. $415.76" I reiterated that so close to the holidays, I couldn't do it. I picked my car up the following day and was charged $89.04 for Diagnostics. I was handed an 'estimate' of work needing to be completed, and the fact that I declined the work they suggested. When I read the estimate, I was quoted a price for what I thought was to replace the lock nut and the labor. However, the estimate reads 'Remove and replace fuel tank , fuel pump lock ring and fuel pump gasket'. REPLACE the fuel tank? Was NEVER told that. Then I noticed the following, that I supposedly declined: 1. Replace front brakes and rotors- very low rotors, very pitted. $450.48 2. Replace rear brakes and rotors. $463.73 3. Replace engine and cabin air filters. $112.39 4. 4 wheel alignment. $119.25 Grand total $2724.98 None of those other things was even mentioned to me that if was being too be done. Because I was concerned about the fuel leak, I took my car to a different garage to get a 2nd opinion. The lock nut and fuel tank are completely fine. The gas leak is coming from the fuel pump. The entire front of the pump is cracked off. $50 part. $100 labor. I paid $90 for Diagnostics and it wasn't even an accurate diagnosis. I questioned the serviceman at the garage if they noticed the other issues inadvertently while looking for the source of the fuel leak. I was told "No. Every time at have a car on the lift, we look the entire thing over. We want to make sure our customers are safe while driving. " So they pulled tires, etc looking for other issues. I had zero knowledge this was being done, nor did I authorize it to be done. Was this part of the $90 charge for the Diagnostics? And if they do this because of safety issues, aren't pitting rotors and low brake pads a safety issue? Unfortunately because of this, Joe Thurs has lost 4 loyal customers as my entire family was using them.

Wish Tony and Ryan had a shop in my home town. I'd never go anywhere else. They took me in right away since I broke down on 81 south heading to Myrtle Beach. They drove 1.5 hours to fetch the part my Volvo needed. The waiting room is super clean as is the bathroom. Great snacks while I waited. Great experience during a stressful time.

Most of the time I do my own work unless I'm in over my head but very fussy who works on my vehicles and could not be more pleased with the care and efficiency Joe Thurs does. During last visit just wanted inspection and oil change done and they found issues I knew about and some I didn't know about which was no cause for inspection failure but it told me they looked it throughly over.

Had service done on my truck and let me say it will not be the last time. From amazing communication to the friendly and timely service. It is well appreciated. They did my water by pass pipe and removed and replaced my engine coolant thermostat housing and my thermostat.

Just went to Joe Thurs for the first time to have 4 tires mounted, alignment and state inspection. Everyone is super nice and accommodating. Prices are on par with other local garages but I always see specials posted for Thurs vs the other guys. Definitely my go to garage from now on. Keep up the good work!

Joe Thurs is FANTASTIC!! I needed a transmission. I had a warranty. Sometimes dealing with warranty companies isnt the easiest. Ryan was the person I dealt with. Ryan is AMAZING!! Ryan is honest, professional and kept me in the loop on everything. The transmission is complete. My truck works great. I couldn't be happier.

Every thing done was done correctly and timely. I need more work done after my medical is all done. And will go right back to them. Everyone has a nice personality. My brother owns a garage in temple. But you need to find a garage you can trust and are comfy. Found them and will be doin all my buisness with them. Brother oil changes Lol. Thank You Guys!! I would recommend JTA to anyone!!! I set up my appointment last minute around my schedule and they made it work. The work is top tier and the employees show that they are proud to work there. That positive attitude carries over into the quality of their job performance. You are treated with respect and honesty. Truly, beyond the standard. They also have quality snacks, coffee, and pens. Nothing generic there, either. Go get yourself a pen and some Oreos!

Great experience. Drive past every day , i needed major work done to my car so decided to give them a try, they scheduled it for a few days later but called me a day early to say parts were there and they could get it done that day. 5 hours later I was driving my car. The service is great and the warranty is too

Where do we begin??? Joe and his team were extremely attentive to our needs. We had a lot, being stranded in Pennsylvania. We needed a new transmission and a place to stay. Within 24 hours his team of experts were working hard to get the truck up and running and back on the road. We are very grateful to have found him in our desperate time of need. We have no idea where we would be today without all of his help. Thank you so so very much for all you guys help! I will not be rating the price because you cannot put a price on kindness and attentiveness that we were provide.

These guys are AWESOME! They went above expectations! I highly recommend their service. They got me a great low mileage replacement engine for my Mini Cooper for a really good price! Car runs like a champ! They're my go to from oil change to engine swap and everything in between! They're super reliable whether its a small job or a big job! Joe went above and beyond as usual. My daughter was told her vehicle would need in excess of $700 in repairs. Joe not only got her vehicle in immediately on short notice he diagnosed the issue quickly and charged us less than $60 to fix it. It’s nice to know there are still a few honest people left in this world. I have to believe another garage would’ve replaced things that weren’t needed and charged us an arm and a leg to repair. I recently had my first experience at Joe Thurs Automotive and there are no words to express my complete gratitude and satisfaction in the service I received. I experienced a big and major problem with my car. It was first evaluated at another service garage ant estimated cost was incredibly high. I consulted with Joe Thurs as recommended my several friends and family members. I was greeted with 100% concern, kindness, and understanding. Their compassion really helped to calm me down. They assisted me to have car towed to their garage. Within 24 hrs I received a call explaining the problem and what needed to be done to repair my car with explanation of all steps and why which I totally appreciated. Throughout the process I received calls keeping me informed of my he progress.and 5 days later I had my car back and completed repaired along with state inspection and other minor things that were due in 2 months. Each and every member of the team including Steve who kept me up to date to all of the service techs I spoke with to Joe the owner were just so kind and understanding and offered much reassurance.
