Charlie YOU ARE A GOOD MAN!!!! STOPPED IN HERE BECAUSE I NOTICED MY TIRE WAS LOW. SO I SIMPLY CAME UP HERE TO HAVE THE MECHANIC. TAKE A LOOK AT IT. HE DID A PATCH AND PLUG WITHIN 10 MINUTES TIME. DIDN'T MISS A BEAT, GOOD GUY. THE PLACE GOT ME IN IMMEDIATELY AND GOT ME OUT FOR A FAIR PRICE. CHARLIE, YOU'RE A GOOD MAN.

Wife has been taking her 2018 Frontier here and always happy with the service. I've been looking for a new mechanic since Freysinger sold out to Fred Beans. They did a excellent job on replacing tires and alignment on my 2023 Tucson Hybrid. They made the whole process painless, good communication and fair pricing. Happy West Perry has a good Auto Shop option!

Brought my car in for inspection on Monday, March 24th. I had called and had an appointment setup the previous week for 7AM. I let them know that I would be dropping my car off the night before so that they could get a start right away. I decided to give them a call around 10AM of the same day to check on the progress, as I had a ride back down to pick my car up setup and when I called they didn't know anything yet, 3 hours in. I explained that I had a 7AM appointment setup and then all of the sudden, it was in the garage being looked at. 5½ hours after that call, they finally call me back and tell me I need brake pads to pass. I give them the go ahead and he tells me it may not be ready until the next day, as they have to order the parts. I tell them I would rather have it ready today as I need a ride down and he tells me he will see what they can do. I realized by 5PM, I wasn't getting my car back the same day, not because they communicated that to me, because I knew they were closing and I hadn't heard anything. I understand that they aren't going to have parts on hand. What I don't understand is why it took until 2:30 in the afternoon to figure out that I'm going to need the parts. I get a call the next morning that my car is ready, I find a ride down and pay the $600+ that I owed them and head down the road when I realize that my old stickers are still on the car. I turn around and go back and they tell me that they needed my insurance and registration info. To be fair, they did tell me that the day before, I just forgot in all the time between originally talking to them. The gentleman at the desk was very helpful, however, whoever the mechanic was, he clearly had a problem. There was some confusion about whether I needed an emissions sticker, I do not, I live in the same county that the business is in that does not require one. During this conversation, the mechanic asks if it is my car, not in a friendly way, but like he is implying something. I've brought this particular vehicle here before, they had it on file when I called to schedule the appointment, they know it's my car. He finally comes out after I stand out there waiting for another 20 minutes, puts my sticker on, after cutting me dirty looks and leaves, doesn't say a word to me after glaring at me. I don't know who would pay over $600 to get a bunch of stuff done to a vehicle to get it legal and running well for a vehicle that may not be mine. To be clear, no one in the office was rude or unhelpful in any way. That is the only reason I am not giving less than 3 stars. They printed out copies of my registration and insurance for me and were professional. Still, I find myself with a poor taste in my mouth after this whole experience. I have been bringing my vehicles here for the work I need done since I moved to the area five years ago, but I think I may be finding a new place to take my business. Which is a shame, I only live two miles down the road from this establishment.

Had a repair done and a common error occurred. Without going into detail , it happens. Pretty sure more shops would lie about it to make extra bucks. It just so happened "I knew the issue". The tow , repair, loaner car all free without me saying a word. That's called INTEGRITY.

Martin’s came out to my home to tow my 4x4 into the shop after AAA refused due to snow on the road. Martin’s gave me a loaner vehicle and was super quick to fix the issue (needed a new starter) at a reasonable price. Feeling very grateful and will return for future work.

Highly recommend Martin's Auto Service. This is the only place I take my car for service. Just recently my car was experiencing several issues. Martin's got my car in fast and completed all the work that needed done within two days. Really appreciate having a local auto service that offers fair pricing and great service!

EDIT: Picked up the car and 10 minutes down road, acted like it did before but worse. Was rushed to get it back and see what else is problem. Only they did was drove it around. How to say it didn't for them everything they drove but did for me. Worst garage I have ever been to. AT ALL COSTS STEER CLEAR NO MATTER WHAT YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES ARE. Pros: had open schedule same day diagnostic test. Thankful for that and thankful they had loaner car. Cons: 1. went through 4 loaner cars while they had my car at the shop. The three they said same thing when I told them dashlights came on and each time I was recommended to return them for another, they said it wouldn't leave me on side of road. Hmm okay so 2 check engine lights and battery. Hmmm yea okay. 2. Charge for parts you are unaware of that they take liberty to throw on and notify you at last minute when you get invoice. 3. When going gets tough for rough times of finding what your cars needs, they get frustrated when your the customer and you just need what's best for your car and worried about putting used items from salvage. 4. One particular person really should work on manners and customer service, each time I talk to him they talk to you Like you don't know what your speaking about in car term. Hmm yea sure. 5. Least to say. What the car was brought in for "was done and worked and ran perfect", actually mess up and make matters worse. I went in for a torque converter, and come out hearing my CV axle and boot are torn when THAT WAS NOT THE CASE WHEN I TOOK IT IN. That was replaced 2 years ago and never had an issue til they had in their hands. They try to cover their ass when you say it too. Everything was fine for 2 weeks until 3rd week. "Reputable garage"..... Don't waste your time especially when you live off 1 car and don't have other means of transportation and work hard for your time and money spent.

I can't say enough positive things about my experience. Very thorough going through my vehicle...very fair in pricing. When you talk to a mechanic and you hear "that's really not necessary" and "we can do this now, but keep an eye out for this in the new year"...it gives you an uncharted confidence they're not taking advantage of you...very rare these days in the mechanic world (which is why I waited so long to fix my car lol). Definitely found home base for my families auto mechanic needs moving forward...??!!!

My 22 Bronco Sport quit while parked across the road, and these fine folks towed it over, checked it, and didn’t charge me! It was under warranty and had to be towed to a Ford garage. I would say they deserve your business.

We had an issue where the car would go into limp mode occasionally. Of course it wouldn't do it for the mechanic. They did a bunch of test and fixed a tail light issue we didn't know about. We were treated very fair at check out and they said if it starts acting up to bring it back. So far so good. I highly recommend and will be doing more bussiness with them in the future.

Wanda G can't say it enough -- Everything is great every time I go there for vehicle services. That includes everyone there, their friendliness, trustworthiness and I appreciate the recommendations for future services. Martin's Auto Service is a Godsend service for someone like me with a history of being ripped off. I can totally trust and believe this will not happen at Martin's Auto Service. EDITED: Had to dock some stars based on the last visit. I took a vehicle in for inspection and they changed the wiper blades and some bulbs without ever saying a word to me. I only found out when it came time to pay the bill. They also charged me $12 for a state sticker instead of $10 even though I handed in coupons. I found a garage that is closer to home and will use Martin’s as a backup when needed. ****************** New to the area & this place was highly recommended. I really love that you can request an appointment via their website & they send text messages. They also offer coupons for different services. Place is easy to find. Plenty of parking. There is a small waiting area inside the office. This place isn’t your typical noisy, dirty, smelly garage (no cigarette smell). The office and the garage are very clean!

The fan under the hood of the car would not shut off. I had no appointment but they looked at it right away, diagnosed the problem and gave me an estimate of costs. Two days later it was fixed. They also helped me set up financing to pay for the repairs. Everyone was kind and helpful. Thank you all so much!

Had to have my radiator replaced and Martin's did an excellent job o doing that for me and also went far and beyond to make that happen.They saw to it my car was picked up and then returned to me after repair. So far have had no issues great job fellows. Thanks!

This place is awesome. I have a 2014 BMW X5 Xdrive35i. I needed spark plugs and coils done .Employers are very knowledgeable. Eric answered all my questions and had no problems giving me quotes for future work thanks Martin's Auto Service

The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable and timely. I never feel pressured into services I didn't ask for. I love having a shop so close to home that is affordable, doesn't push excess services into their customers and are always welcoming when I call asking questions. I also love that they work around my schedule. 10/10 would recommend to absolutely anyone who needed a mechanic.

Made appointment for my babe BWM. They had the knowledge to care for my car. Easy drop off and got a courtesy vehicle to use while mine is being fixed. My car was done in a timely manner. They even save me money on parts. Will be returning for any future work. Thank you Martins. Virginia

I called on a Tuesday for a front wheel alignment and they were able to schedule an appointment for me for only two days later ? I went in actually one minute late for the appointment and everyone was still so kind! I only have one vehicle so I knew I would be waiting there during the duration of my alignment and when I called on Tuesday, Emily estimated it would be about an hour give or take some time. Martin’s Auto had my vehicle alignment finished within 35-40 minutes! Wonderful service, affordable prices and great workers!!!

I have lived in Perry County since 2004. Local gas station/garage has handled almost all of my car maintenance since I moved to the county. Their work was great but I got really tired of the unprofessional joking and passive aggressive comments. The move to Martin’s Auto has been a good one. Excellent work on my car, easy to schedule, with the added benefit of no back handed comments about how busy they are or not knowing in advance when I will get my car back. Martin’s Auto provided excellent, professional service with the added benefits of scheduling online and text messaging for communication. Excellent work! A refreshing change and a professional company! I will be back! Thank you.

I cannot thank the wonderful team and mechanics at Martin's enough for their quality service and repair work. They came through for me during the holidays when other businesses were closed or did not have any openings. Martin's eased this difficult time by maintaining contact and providing me with regular updates on the status of my repairs. They also conveniently provided a loaner vehicle which made things so much easier! Thank you for everything!

Good honest place to work with. Fast and reputable. I have family in Landisburg that use these folks and always talked highly. It's about a 30 minute drive out to them but i feel i will definitely use then again. Ran a brake line from the front for the rear. They did recommend other work be done but they weren't pushy about it just want to let know what they find. Keep up the great work.

They were great! My tires needed replaced and I called a bunch of places and no one even got back to me. I tried their convenient online appointment thing, and they called me back to confirm. When I got there, they were running behind. But I didn't have to wait long, since they gave me a loaner car instead. And I love the list they give you - they look over all the basics on the car and let you know if anything needs done in 3 months, 6 months, etc. Nice way to just check the "health" of the car and plan ahead for standard repairs. Overall super happy with the service.

I called Martin's right before Christmas and they asked me to bring my truck in the same day. Who does that anymore? Unfortunately my schedule didn't allow it. I made an appointment for today and, as often happens with my work, I got out late. I called expecting to hear that they wouldn't be able to work on my truck today. Their answer was the complete opposite. I showed up 90 minutes after my scheduled appointment time and they took my truck right into the service bay. I haven't had heat in the truck, while it was sitting still, for over a month. They diagnosed and remedied the problem in under an hour. They even managed to get an oil change done. They didn't have the part to fix my truck today but they said call when I'm ready and they will get me right in. They worked with me on a plan to fix the water pump and weren't pushy about needing to do extra things like some garages are. They were wonderful to work with and their staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The staff at Martin's have made a new customer for life. Well worth the 25 minute drive from Newport to Landisburg. Thank you again for the amazing customer service.

I got an unexpected flat tire on a Sunday afternoon due to my alignment and called Martin's Monday morning when they opened! Jay and his guys were able to order tires & get me in the same day! They replaced 2 tires, did an Alignment, and an oil change in a timely manor and kept me up to date with the status of my Car. I was super impressed they do a complimentary over all check on your car to let you know what maintenance you might need in the near future! They were also able to give me a loaner car for the day. I only live about 15 minutes away, so it was great that I didn't have to bug my friends/family to drive me there and back again. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and honest garage. :)

Great local business. I've been taking my vehicles to Martin's for all my service after warranty is up for years now. They have always been prompt in setting appointments and have performed all requested service in a professional and timely manner, and at a reasonable cost. Unlike most larger shops and dealers, you can actually talk to the mechanic that works on your vehicle which is nice is this day and age. Highly recommended.

Martins auto service is the best automobile service that I have used. Their knowledge, punctuality, professionalism of automobiles and service far exceeds what I expected. When they quoted the time it would take to repair my truck the met their deadline. Unbelievable for automobile service and they didn’t attempt to fix something that did not need to be fixed. Their customer service is excellent, they will call you to inquire about the repairs the completed and ask if there are any other concerns. Above what was expected, I will be returning in the future and recommend to all our friends.
