Very patient and nice helpful people. Was one of the hottest days of the summer and they all helped empty my truck which I truly appreciated as I am disabled and no spring chicken.. They also gave me top dollar for everything. If you want a stress free transaction. This is the place to go
I want to say the 2 ladies that work there are absolutely wonderful. They work very very hard and are very kind every time I come there. They keep me coming back.
This is by far the best scrap yard around. The staff are friendly and answer all your questions and the prices are great. I want to give an extra shout out to 2 women that work there,Shawn and Casey, they are always available to help unload and explain what is steel and what is not. When they are in the precious metals area it always a smooth transition from one customer to the next. Their customer service is what makes me keep coming back and recommend this scrap yard.
Had a great experience with JFR. My car was totaled and I had to leave the area before they could come get it. They helped me arrange to leave the keys and title at the auto shop my car was at and picked it up the next morning. They then mailed me a check within a week. They also sent me my EZ Pass which I'd accidentally left in the car, without me even asking them to. Thank you for making a stressful experience way easier for me!
The most honest helpful fair scrapyard I've ever been to and I've been to a lot over the years I look forward to going every time many times I'll leave with a little treasure I bought from them matter of fact I'm heading there now I can't say enough good about this place if every business in the usa operated the same way we would have no problems and I'm not just saying that

Wish prices were better, but that's how scrapping goes. Just like the stock markets. One day it is up and the next it is down. When you microscrap, everything else is gravy.
Friendly and helpful folks. I love how I often get a magical amount of money. $136, a hundred, a twenty, a ten, a five and a one. Also got $86 once. You figure it out. Really cool grabbers and magnets, if you like machines...enjoy!
I had an amazing experience with JFR Salvage INC the people in the office were very kind and helpful, the driver that removed the junk car from my property was very courteous and worked extremely hard even though it was raining heavily he did a great job and was very respectful.

Yeah the stupidity of people never ceases to amaze me Let's start off with the guy was there he pic 3 different vehicles up off for me correction to he picked up 1I had to bring 1st vehicle everything went fine the guy was in-and-out of there in 5 minutes had my money the 2nd vehicle the retarded driver they sent smashes the vehicles smashes together in my landlord yard And now this last time I have no body to come With me to get the vehicle there The courted me to 10 on the phone and paid me less even though I an extra transmission and a starter in the car The guy was completely rude to me on the phone I told them I bring it down to the street for him so I would have to walk home from windgap to saylorsburg When I asked to speak to the owner the guy behind the counter was a complete d*** h*** And they act like this because they're the only ball game in town
I've been going back and forth on whether I should write this post or not. I usually don't write reviews, so those who read this should know how bad my service really was. I brought a trailer to the scrap yard to cash in on the metal. I really didn't know what to do, where to go, or who to ask. A very nice gentleman approached me and explained what I needed to do... Pull up on the scale, drop off the trailer by the loader, and pull back on the scale. I did all of that. Then I had to go into the office to sign the paperwork and get my cash. I couldn't find anywhere to park. I really looked, and there wasn't any parking, signs, or lines to park within. The ONLY place I found to park was a spot that said no parking, but I knew this part of the process was going to take 1 minute at most. When I entered the office, an ignorant employee started rambling off in a cocky manner about how nobody can read signs, "F" this and "F" that, and how he was going to go outside and teach people how to read the no parking sign by putting an "F"ing knife in their tires. I decided not to get into it, and left (Literally 60 seconds inside). I would recommend JFR teach their employees a hint of customer service. I will never go back there due to one employee's actions. Beware of the fat guy that sits in the back of the office that will threaten to slice your tires! Hey JFR, if everyone parks in the wrong spots, maybe you should label your parking better. Just a thought.
Have been coming down here a few times and there always nice friendly and helpful. I keep going back because there good at what they do. Professional services!
