Not my favorite of the 5 BBs, but it’s good for what it is. People there are weird (workers and shoppers), selection is ok, prices are hard to beat, best in the county’.

Didn’t buy much really. First time here but have been to Glenwood in greencastle so similar . Majorly expired items some two years out. Cant roll the dice on that regardless of price. At some point it needs thrown out. Clementines were .99 but all were like jello and smashed . I would say 80 percent of store is out of date most at least 6 mo. Bought some coffee that was only exp by a month and soup but not going back really. Also out of the way location wise

I went there with my family to look around not to buy anything and ended up purchasing a few items. They have really good prices on there merchandise. I will return to do more shopping there. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We’ve been shopping at BB’s for years, and it’s consistently our favorite "treasure hunt" in the area. If you’re a West Shore local, you know that the deals here are unbeatable—especially on organic pantry staples and frozen goods. It’s always clean and well-organized, and the staff is incredibly efficient. We appreciate how they help the community save on groceries while reducing food waste. Just a tip for newcomers: make sure to check the hours before you head out, as they are closed on Sundays and certain holidays. Highly recommend for anyone in the Mechanicsburg/Carlisle area looking to stretch their grocery budget!

Cheap prices on pretty much every kind of food you could ever imagine. Has lots of other stuff too. Just make sure you all check the expiration dates because I have often found things 2+ years out of date but that's typically powdered products. Lot a whole grocery cart full the other day for $64... They also have a lot of items that I would have never found anywhere else but it's never consistent. Very Hit or Miss with what they have. Great store. One of my favorites. Can't beat the prices on the fruits and vegetables

We filled a cart to the rim with essentials, $105. That would have been $300+ anywhere else.

Place like a scavenger hunt never know what you will find and prices are great

Great prices. Lots of the items are near or past their best by date, but still perfectly fine.

I've been shopping here for decades now, even though I moved an hr away. I find so many great deals and enjoy the trip everytime. Well worth the savings.

Prices are good but check dates! And customers and staff are usually not very friendly

Me and my family used to shop here because of their affordable prices for bulks of groceries. While most items are expired, or close to expiring, there are some items that are still good for months to years. The prices are really low but good.

My daughter and I always find some great deals here I got her a little tree for $4 got a lot of lunch meat cheaper than most grocery stores

I always find a lot of great deals you just have to pay attention to the dates. But the overall savings is well worth it. I suggest checking it out.

BB's has excellent prices - far lower than even most discount stores. Every visit is a treasure hunt for something new! The one thing that I would caution is that their produce is sometimes very near the end of its useful life.

Love this place! Great bargains! Always restocking. Occasionally we will buy something that turns out not to be great but the steals we find make up for the losses.

We love BB's. This location has a good size walk in refrigerator, bigger than some of the other locations. Fair selection of produce, too.

We always enjoy going for fruits and vegetables. And the big freezer is good for meats, cheeses and other odd or ends. Sometimes you can find other items in the aisles not outdated. Or if you don't mind outdated things then there's a variety of items to chose from

This is like a guilty secret that you don't want to tell everyone. On the one hand when you walk out with a cart loaded to overflowing for less than $100 you don't give a damn how they do it or where your scores come from! You just know your never shopping at the major chains ever again and you want to scream it from the mountains. But on the other, if everyone started shopping there it feels like this might all be a dream and come to an end! I personally just shop there and tell only the closest of friends and keep it quiet, hush hush like.

I love this store. You never know what you'll find because every day they have new products. I love when they have products from foreign countries. You just have to watch the dates, especially on produce. It'd be nice if they'd have a deli and dessert section. Otherwise, great store. The low prices on lots of products is awesome compared to regular grocery stores.

I love BBs. It’s about 45 mins away from home but I make sure to stop at least once a month. Fresh produce is amazing! Prices can’t be beat. You never know what you may find there.

absolutely amazing place. check in all the aisles, they may have the precise version of the thing you are looking for in another aisle really love the fridge and freezer sections, love that they provide BB's long coats for convenience as well haha! only bummer is that they do not provide wifi and there is no cell reception there -- wifi would likely increase sales cuz you'd price check something and, seeing how much less expensive it is, buy more of that thing. i think the paper towels / toilet paper are the only thing i questioned if they are that much cheaper here, everything else is like. 1/8th the cost of other stores.

Decided to come here after our more local grocery outlet started to leave us wanting more -it’s a nice bent and dent stop. They accept cash, credit card and gift cards. The aisle are wide although just as likely to get crowded- Educational note: don’t go to a bent and dent or bargain outlet expecting pristine packaging; if it was in that condition or many months of in date shelf life, it would be in the chain store. It’s been a long time since visiting here; the produce selection was good and reasonably priced. The cooler and freezer sections closer to expiration and my memory recalls more selections of cheeses, meats and high quality freezer choices in the past, not so much of the packaged freezer foods but it may have been I go back in 3 weeks and there are more gmo free etc rather than frozen pizzas etc -however, in comparison to other bent and dents and bargain outlets in the area still a relatively robust selection. I can’t speak too much to the middle aisles, I try not to shop as much of the box food items, but the aisles were full of product and people. The savings are still significant; it used to be-in the past I recall more families, and today I suspect due to the navigation of our economy, more people now than ever are seeking ways to creatively sustain- many single shoppers, not just moms with carts of kids AND carts of groceries, young and old, pickup trucks, sedans, family cars and sports cars….a snapshot of America in an alternative grocery parking lot-if you’ve never been to aren’t and dent, you can akin it to a scavenger hunt of sorts….try a new experience and save a few dollars - if you do water, gatorade and snacks for sports teams it may be worth the trip just to stock up for field days and travel ball.

Overall great place. Lots of great finds. Cannot beat the prices. Check dates of course but plenty of great stuff. I can go there and spend a 1/4 of what I spend at the grocery store honestly. I go twice a month in these difficult times it's really a lifesaver!!!

I have been coming here since I can remember! If you dig a little you can find just about anything! Their box deals are amazing! Banana boxes packed with snack bags of chips, protein drinks, juice boxes, granola bars and who knows what else! They have a freezer and refrigerator section and even big coats you can borrow while you're in there. They also have beauty, hair and body products plus sunscreen and OTC medicine. Always a great deal and they accept credit cards, cash and EBT. Sometimes it's hard to fit people back in the car ?

Let's get the nitty gritty out of the way right up front. If you have problems buying and/or eating food that might be slightly out of date then please do not shop here. Or if you do decide to shop here, make sure you keep an eye on all the dates of whatever you buy. But come on people you can't get around how cheap this stuff is. They don't exactly have a grand selection as you can understand. But the prices here are so affordable. It does feel a little out of the way though to get there, so if you're all about convenience, maybe just shop at your local grocery store. My wife and I have found that if you go early enough it's usually not too busy. The workers are friendly and helpful. You should go. You'll have fun. I wonder where they get all the stuff from.

For people who have never been here before, there needs to be a sign when you enter that says to make sure you check expiration dates because they don’t check them at all. I was under the impression that this was just a locally owned grocery store, not a scratch and dent store. I just ate an item I purchased and I have a bad stomach ache. Went to check the box, who would’ve known they expired almost 6 months ago. I don’t know how expired goods can even be sold in a store at that point without them assuming some kind of liability. The “fresh” red peppers I purchased also had mold growing on the inside and I couldn’t use them. I was very disappointed in my purchases here. Now that I’m going through everything, I see that they’re all either expired or the packaging is punctured except for the utz chips I purchased.

BBs Grocery Outlet is a fantastic place to find discount food and other grocery items. It has a fresh produce section and all of the things that you might find at a regular grocery store but at ridiculously cheap prices. Read the labels and look for the expiration date on items. Otherwise if you are willing to dig a little, you can save a ton of money here! This place is on the must stop list when I’m in the area.

Best deals around! Filled a cart for under $90. (The pic below is only two-thirds of my haul). Friendly staff, great local meat & produce. Homemade stuff, too! It's a bit of a drive out of Carlisle to get there (about 25 minutes), but totally worth it.

By far the deepest discounts on my favorite shelf stable products. You'll also find a nice array of vegetables and fruits at great prices. Always check expiration dates to ensure freshness.
