Nice place and I don’t regret driving 25 to do my inspection. It was fast and I really appreciate everything. You can tell that they really did a good job and check everything. Definitely my shop to go now.

My first visit to J&D went really well. Got my PA Stae Inspection and Emissions test done. They said it would be a hour, so I waited for my car. They completed it within the time frame, which was great. They are up to date technology wise, so everything is computerized. I was able to get a text message and approve the services being done on my car. After, they gave me a list of suggested services to benefit my vehicle. I think its great that they have this technology so that I can approve exactly what I want done. Everyone I met was kind and professional. I will definitely go back.

Came in for an inspection on my 2019 Ford Ranger. They diagnosed the deficiency in a timely manner, explained the issue clearly, and completed the repair at a reasonable cost. Everything was handled the same day. Highly satisfied with the service.

Found this place last year and have been coming back ever since. I stopped by for an inspection and oil change and had another great experience. The team is efficient, honest, and never tries to upsell services you don’t need. Highly recommend this place—I’ll be coming here every chance I get.

This was my first time using J&D Auto Repair for services. I found an offer on groupon, and live in the area but have always used my dealership for services. After recent poor experiences at my dealership I decided to give J&D a try. So far I am pleased with their work and customer service. My car is running smoothly and the service was excellent. I like their text messaging service and ease of communication. Their prices seem competitive and I look forward to returning for future service.

I would recommend J&D Automotive to anyone who likes top notch service and communication. I brought by Subaru Legacy in for a second opinion diagnostic. They were so thorough and explained exactly what was going on with my vehicle and had pictures to back it up. They also answered all of my questions afterwards and gave me a quote to do the work needed that was significantly less than the dealer. I dealt with two different gentleman (wish I knew names!) and both were extremely professional and knowledgeable. I will be using this shop again in the future.

I called to get my car inspected and they fit me in within hours of my call. They had my car finished in under an hour, and provided a detailed inspection report. The woman at the desk walked me through the entire report and was extremely thorough. I also received a generous in-house discount. 100% recommend going here and will be coming back!

Extremely professionally run shop. You get picture updates sent to your phone, and a thorough examination of your vehicle. The woman at the front desk is knowledgeable and displayed exceptional customer care skills. This shop runs smoothly and efficiently and is a great place to get work completed if you want to ensure your vehicle is working properly and will remain reliable.

Got services done here two times. One for AC replacement and one for new state safety/emission inspections. Was charged a “reinspection fee” to have my car re-tested after they said it failed the first time. All previous shops I’ve been to have let me come back and get retested without extra charges as long as it’s with them and within 30 days. This was unusual, never had this charged at any other shop and ended up playing more than ALL other shops locally. Went thinking I’d save $30, ended up paying $20 over the highest quote I was given by other local shops. when my AC unit was replaced a separate time, the cap was left off and not replaced, which resulted in me needing to take it to another mechanic again who properly re-installed the unit. Would not go here again. Fork up the extra dollars and go to a more reputable shop. The discounts they claim you’ll save will cost you more than any of the other shops in the area. Never again.

1st time using J&D and they got our vehicle in quickly. Their process is very detailed and easy to use and follow. They send text messages with a link to follow your vehicle. They breakdown every aspect of the inspection process and what needs to be fixed/corrected/replaced with the exact specifications and recommendations. They make it very easy to use. Excellent experience at J&D Automotive Repair. This was my first time with these guys, and they were very professional and polite. I went there for a vehicle inspection and state emissions, and the team was transparent throughout the process. They explained everything clearly and took photos of each inspection section, which I really appreciated. Honest service, great communication, and thorough work. Highly recommend !!! Chris was the guy, with whom I interacted.

I had the greatest first experience with J&D Automotive!!! They did a VERY thorough job of diagnosing my vehicles problems. I really appreciated the texting option to stay in touch during the process. I also appreciated the great communication they had with me to explain things in simpler terms so I could understand an make the best choice for my vehicle. I also really liked that there were options for financing. It REALLY came in handy especially before the holidays. STAY AWAY!! Horrible people and slow service. Where do I begin. I brought my truck there because the battery was draining. They were not clear from the start as to the test and how long that would take. I had to repeatedly call for updates and when I did I got an attitude every time. I only called once a week. My truck took almost a month for them to fix however driving my truck home it had the same issue of my battery draining from before I brought it in. The customer services was absolutely terrible. I called when I got home after a $650 bill I was told to bring it back and they would conduct more test on it however the assured me they fixed the issue. They want to run more test and take more of my money when they couldn’t fix it the first time? It’s not fixed if the same issue is still going on! I called today to talk to someone and no one has called back. They only sent me a text asking for a review. Well here it is. You wasted my time and money.

They are so personable. Cookies? Awesome. Service and prices? Also awesome. And a special shootout to their 2 son's, who made the time pass quickly as they were sweet and funny and very proud of their parents.

The mechanics and bs8ness staff were excellent. My car needed major repair work which they kept me apprised of monetarily and mechanically!! The office staff were eager to help , friendly and clear communicating the job being performed!!

Great communication from Chris, at every turn he would reach out if something unexpected popped up and let me know the cost in writing before proceeding. It can be nerve wracking leaving my car somewhere and they made sure to keep me informed the whole time. This shop offers a checklist of recommendations for services, and gives you an informative video on what the component/service does. Great if you need something diagnosed to tackle yourself later or have it handled at the shop. First time using J&D and I'm incredibly impressed. Will definitely be back.

I took my car to J&D Automotive Repair for a PA state inspection, and once again, they did not disappoint. The service was quick and efficient, and I loved that I could access the full inspection report online for added convenience. I’ve been a regular customer for oil changes and other repairs, and I trust their team completely. They’re always professional, knowledgeable, and transparent about what’s needed.

J&D Auto is my new go-to repair shop. My headlights went out, and I needed them repaired quickly since I work nights. They got me in the same day, and I was good to go! They're very professional and transparent; I highly recommend them!

Purchased a service through Groupon for an oil change. I was seen the same day after I made the purchase. I was in and out less than an hour! Great service! I got a free MPI with my service and they were very transparent about my vehicles issues. I would definitely recommend! 10/10!

They did a fine job on my inspection and with the Groupon it was a good deal. They found that one of my windshield wiper spout things was broken and charged me $30 to investigate, which I was fine with. Then they told me I would have to wait hours to get a new one, which I couldn’t do. So they told me to pay another $40 for a 1in piece of plastic so $70 for this windershield wiper fluid spout to be replaced. Okay, I went back the next day bc I couldn’t wait that day. They told me they fixed it but now it sprays directly into my windshield wiper and the bottom of my glass, not $70 worth of anything nor did it really fix much of anything. I took it back twice more to try to get it fixed and they told me they would just charge more to get the Lexus piece so nothing could be done. So I paid an extra $70 for jacked up windshield wiper spout.

I am 66 years old and have lived in a number of states and areas ... and this is the most well-run, efficient auto repair shop that I have ever encountered. They also use a computerized/digital estimate, feedback and billing 'program' to email or text you photos of what they see regarding your vehicle, and to give you options re what repairs you want to go ahead with, how much they cost, etc. Very impressed with these folks. Place is clean and businesslike, nice front waiting area with TV. Chris and Elizabeth who I dealt with were very knowledgeable, efficient and personable. Very well run business!

Everyone is super nice there. They were on point with scheduling and taking me at my scheduled time which I appreciated. I love That they take photos of things they feel you should fix on your car but don’t pressure you into buying pieces or getting things done there specifically. I also Appreciate them working with Groupon to offer lower costs on some services especially being that money can be tight for some. Thank you J&D!

The inspection itself went smoothly, but I was very disappointed with the care taken. Despite reminding the technician multiple times, they still cut into my windshield tint when applying the inspection sticker. My tint already had a dedicated cutout for the sticker, so the damage was completely avoidable. The owner’s response tries to shift the blame onto Pennsylvania tint law and claim damage is “unavoidable.” This is misleading. My tint meets PA’s legal VLT requirement and passed inspection without issue. The problem was not the law, but the lack of care when applying the sticker. Hiding behind regulations instead of acknowledging the mistake feels like making excuses rather than addressing poor workmanship. A legal tint job with a proper cutout should not be nicked or scratched if handled responsibly. Unfortunately, that attention to detail was missing here, and being told afterward that it was unavoidable only made the experience worse. While my car passed inspection, the lack of accountability and professionalism left me with a very poor impression.

This was my first time having my car serviced at J&D Automotive. Chris was very helpful and kept me informed throughout the process. They did an excellent job replacing the front wheel bearing/hub of my infiniti G35 (plus the inspections) and the prices were very fair. The car is running very smoothly and quietly now! I am really glad to have come here for the repair; I will definitely be returning. Highly recommended!

I can honestly say, I had major work done (water pump blew apart and ate my timing cover alive) - but had this work done without ever once seeing a single person at the shop. My service contract (SilverRock - they are tools however, and wiggle their way out of anything possible) - had actually dictated I go to JD or a thousand Meinekes or Midas or even PepBoys.. no chance. I worked in dealer and wholesale auto parts a long time, no way would I go to those chains for this type of work. Made the call to JD to see if they were good having my car towed there, with a simple note on the seat. They did a full inspection/diagnostic and were transparent about the cost and what the service contract pays - and took great steps to isolate the issue and any collateral damage - and kept me up to date via text or a website they partner with. Most don’t realize how hard it is for a shop to work with these crud warranties and even get paid a rate they deserve, but JD did the leg work and got me a decent approval on most of the work. (SilverRock thinks that is your water pump pulley blows off and hurts your timing cover, it’s your fault, hahaha - but I gladly paid JD a fair price for that work, least I could do for their support). Even picking up the car was catered to when I could get it; they made super sure to test my car on extended drives to ensure no cylinder damage happened, that’s great service as I commute far - and am not trying to have a coolant issue. I picked up my car after paying online, after hours and never got a good chance to thank even a single person there, but they are trust worthy, transparent - and honorable - and I’m so happy they repaired my car, she’s been great going on a week now, no signs of trouble or even a smell of spilled coolant. To the entire team at JD - you guys are amazing - thank you!
