They have taken care of my 2 older high milage cars for years and are the best. They are always on time, repairs done properly & efficiently, they keep you fully informed with great communication so no surprises. My last repair was estimated at a certain price & it ended up being a good bit lower. Honest, up front, proper repairs & service - I wouldn't trust anyone else.

Straight forward, no hassle and reasonable pricing
I had a state inspection due. Booked in, lefty car at the over night drop off. Next day got a call saying it passed but advise getting and oil change I agreed. Call again later ... Had option to pick up with the use of a locker and pay online but opted to come in and pick up. Tye gent on the desk said it was all good and soon think about changing the brake fluid. Car was grand off I went. Perfect
Was recommended to Austin's by a client. Was very happy with service/experience - had to have my car towed & ultimately the alternator needed replaced, they worked with me while I was on vacation in North Carolina. Communication was on point. I will definitely use them again.

My Audi died while on a trip away from home. Luckily it was brought to Austin’s for service. They were professional, fair, communicated very well and brought my car back to life in only a few days. If I lived in Bethlehem I’d use them regularly.
I only got a vehicle inspection, so I don't have any insight about the quality of their repair work, but I had a great experience and will go back. Making an appointment online is simple, you can even text to change/cancel an appointment. The shop is clean, employees are both kind & professional.
So thankful! I discovered a nail in my tire and came in to have it plugged. So very thankful that the technician actually checked all my tires as one was about to blow! Had it not been discovered I could have been in an accident. Customer service and attention to detail along with affordable prices keeps me coming back!

Austin's auto service I highly recommend. Went for an oil change and rotation tire change and they inspected all the parts of the car and found that I needed front brakes. So important to have brakes. Went back had the front brakes done and now feel safe when driving my vehicle. They also give you a run down on your car as to when you need to replace parts.
Had a blowout tire and Austin's auto service showed up quickly, let me know when they were 15min out, took less than 5min to load and efficiently drove me to the tire shop. Could not be happier with their service!!
Really love this shop. The staff are super friendly and cheerful which is hard to find at an auto shop. I brought my car in a few months ago after another mechanic tried to swindle me about of $1000+ in unnecessary repairs, and they fixed me right up for less than $100. Today I came back for my annual inspection and an oil change. I was in and out in just around 1.5 hours with only that AND they did all their courtesy checks and didn’t try to recommend work I didn’t need. I even asked if my car needed anything before leaving since I trust this shop so much. You can’t go wrong with these folks.

The most thorough inspection I have ever had. They take pictures of problematic areas that should be taken care of in near future!The final report and bill was ten pages long. You have triple aaa inspection is free. Also 3 months free serious. All questions were answered. A big plus was an awarding winning mechanic / owner Nelson always on site . The reception person (former mechanic)was very courteous and knowledgeable .you want the best of the best???and your car deserves it . Check out them out . People drive long distances ( Jim Thorpe)to use them . I’m in Orefield I found out thru my church about this service of whom Nelson plays folk guitar during services . Again Nelson is the owner of Austin auto service. For me honesty is a breath of fresh air . Well, If you want great service and piece of mind, let Austin's n Nelson take care of your vehicle. Small repair or Large. I feel kinda bias. Been going to that same Ole' shop for 35 years.. So, do want you want, go see n trust your vehicle to Mr. Goodwrench n get ripped Off, or use a very fine Mom n Pop shop. Your choice..
Austin's Auto Service really saved me today. I had driven from NY to PA to bring my pig Truffles to the vet. My car wouldnt start for the trip home, and not only did they get to me so quickly, the technician was so kind despite the fact it was POURING. So grateful for their help today. 10/10 recommend
I brought my 2007 Hyundai Elantra to Austin's Auto Service, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The staff was friendly, honest, and clearly knowledgeable. They explained everything clearly and treated my car with care. It’s hard to find a shop you can trust, but I’ll definitely be coming back here. Highly recommend!
I took my car in to be checked out due to a parasitic draw on the battery. When I took my car in everything was functioning fine except for the fact that the battery would be drained after sitting for a few days. They kept my car for about a week to do some tests on the battery, and when I got it back the issue was not fixed and my radio, HVAC controls, and dash were not working. This new electrical issue also prevents my turn signals from functioning, rendering the car useless.
What I thought would be a simple diagnostics appointment turned into a completely new problem that is going to cost me hundreds of dollars to fix in addition to still needing to figure out the original issue (not including the $170 they charged me just to cause this issue). When I spoke to the manager he was very harsh and insisted that I brought my vehicle into the garage in that condition which is not true.
I have been a customer here for over a year, so this is very disappointing that I no longer feel I can trust Austin’s with my vehicles.

I have been servicing my car at Austin's now for some time. I had a BMW X3 and now drive a classic Jaguar s type. Their work has been terrific. They are excellent in all regards. Diagnosis repair price and communication!! I can not recommend them enough. Friendly courteous and reliable. A top notch independent garage.

I just received the usual great service from Austin's as I always get. I can review them highly enough.
I called on a Monday morning having an issue with my vehicle, they said I could drop it off and they would look at it as soon as possible. They had my car back to me on Wednesday running great again. They even suggested a service that they realized had been performed recently and were honest about it not needing to be done again instead of just charging me for it and doing it anyway.
Took my 2007 Ford F150 for a rear main seal replacement.
The good:
-Price- received 3 estimates and they were the lowest
-Communication- They communicated very well and have a very good invoice system. I received a picture and actual estimate early in the day of the appointment
-Drop off and pick are easy as I paid the invoice online and they placed my keys in a lockbox
-Overall found staff to be very nice and enjoyed that portion of the experience
-Found another issue and repaired it for less than estimate
The bad
-Truck started leaking oil immediately after repair and had a hesitation. Dropped off the truck 6 days later and they advised they needed to replace the rear main seal again.
-Called and asked if they could keep the truck a few extra days due to manpower issues. Not really bad because I advised from the beginning this was not a daily driver.
-Got the truck back 6 days later and had a bill for a new part. This was a part that should have been inspected and replaced during initial repair and since it was not I was not expecting a bill. I do not think this part was a new failure that occurred in the 100 miles I drove it since the initial repair. When I inquired I was advised they were not sure if the part was broken but decided to replace it anyway. My issue with this is there was no mention of the part being a potential problem and should have been replaced during initial repair. Replacing because you are not sure at the expense of having my truck for 6 additional days seems like the facility should have waived the cost. They did acknowledge the initial repair was their fault and took appropriate responsibility for it.

I recently had my vehicle serviced at Austin Auto Service, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The team was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. They provided honest recommendations without pushing unnecessary repairs, which I really appreciated.
They sent me photos of all the repairs done at each visits. I do maintenance for all the 3 cars at Austin ( 2 Hondas and 1 Chevrolet).

Had to have my car towed which is never a happy experience however, Dylan from Austin’s Auto Service and Towing made the experience quick and painless. My car would not shift over to neutral so he had to do extra work to ensure my AWD was not harmed when loading the car onto the flatbed. Dylan was professional and friendly. I will definitely use Austin’s towing service and auto shop for any future car issues!!
