East Penn trucking company is the worst company ever I took my tow truck there they kept it for 4 months did not look at it did not touch it in any way shape or form told me that they had parts for it and they were ordering them did not have them ended up destroying my front tire of my vehicle and told me that it was my fault even though I drove the truck to them their reply on me calling them and questioning them about shredding my tire was they hung up on me they are the worst company ever do not trust them with your vehicle at allow
Well I have to say that I was not full impressed wirh this company. I took my tow truck there to have it repaired. I realized that it was an old one and maybe not worth them fixing it for me. But it was my first one and I purchased it to start my business. So it was worth me having it fixed. I asked them to look it over and what I wanted them to fix. They had it for 4 months didnt even look at it. When I called them the person on the phone acted like they didn't have a clue of what I was talking about. Put me in hold saying he would find someone to help me and never did. I told them I was picking it up. When I got there no one was there I talk to at all. The tire was messed up in the passenger side when I called they said the it was due to the brakes, i told them when I brought it in 4 months ago that the brakes were bad. So why would you drive it. Im sorry to say I would not recommend them to anyone of my friends. Too bad becasue starting my own business I would of used them to work in more of my tow trucks.. so they get from me.
Ordered parts on friday morning, the staff knew exactly what I needed and had it in stock. Parts were on my doorstep Saturday morning. Very easy to do business with, highly recommend.
I just started a new towing business and thought I found the perfect truck until I lost all heat on the ride home. Took the truck to a mechanic and was told this truck was never serviced properly and is costing me over $4,000 in repairs. I have called them countless times and Mr. John Oberly is either with another victim, on the phone with another victim or just isn't ever in the office. PLEASE BE AWARE WHEN PURCHASING FROM THESE CROOKS!
I bought a truck from then a little over 2 months ago, and have since put about 14K miles on it. It was a little scary purchasing a used truck that is 14 years old, but they assured me that the truck was road ready, along with suited to start towing when I left the lot. The customer service was great through the whole process, and they were very accommodating considering it was a 3 hour drive.
When it comes time for another truck, they will be my first call for sure. Thanks again East Penn
I was purchasing a 2015 ford wheellift with 73,000 miles on Tuesday 5/29/18 and this truck was a lemon. It had sever wear in the front end to the point it was unsafe to drive, an oil leak that was spraying all over the radiator and suspension and a engine light that came on during the test drive. I expressed my concerns with Mr Overly and he told me "then this is not the truck for me"...I asked to at least have the engine light scanned and he told me no one was available, so I drove the truck to a local mechanic and paid to have it scanned to find out the truck has def problems. I would not accept the truck and walked out. I never had an experience like that before and I should have looked at the other reviews first.....PLEASE BEWARE THIS COMPANY IS NOT INTERESTED IN CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL!
Unless your gonna spend hundreds of thousands ,wouldn't recommend it ,they don't care about the customer i drove 6 hrs to see a truck that wouldnt even start and I was treated like I did not matter.what a joke
