I'm from the Boston area, and was searching through car-part.com hoping to find a good condition sliding door for my 2003 Ford E-250. any color would have been okay. I was excited to see that Green Lane had one in my own van's Merlot Pearl color. The listing included about a dozen pics from various angles that showed the door to be rust free with a few very minor scratches and one small dent. When I called Sam and asked if it was still available and to get a price, and to get a confirmation of the door being rust free, he said he would check it out and get back to me. He not only got back to me but sent me some additional new pics! The pics were great and the price was even better. I told him I would definitely make the drive down from Boston to pick it up, and he even said if I couldn't make it down in normal business hours, I could pay via Paypal and he would leave it outside his office door. I told him I would also like to get the front bumper as the pics of that also looked better than the one on my van. When I arrived the next day, both parts were waiting for me. He told me that he gave me a bumper from a different van that was in even better shape than the one I had asked about, and for a price much lower than Iexpected. It was 100% rust free with no dents! He even offered me cold drinks for my long ride home!
I've been working on cars for over 50 years and done business with many auto recyclers but none have ever been easier to work with, went out of their way to make sure I knew exactly what I was getting, and get me truly great used parts at a great price. THE TRANSMISSION WAS DELIVERED BY GREEN LANE TO MY MECHANIC. ONCE MY MECHANIC LOOKED AT THE TRANSMISSION TODAY 4/24/25 HE IMMEDIATELY CALLED TO INFORM ME I PURCHASED THE WRONG TRANSMISSION.
I SWIFTLY CONTACTED GREEN LANE WANTED TO RETURN AND RECIEVE MY REFUND.
I TOOK THE TRANSMISSION BACK QUICKLY AND WAS GIVEN MY FULL REFUND,THAT WAS A GOOD BUSINESS PRACTICE.
I arrived late and was still taken care of. Sam was super cool and helpful even threw in some extra parts. 10/10 will definitely be doing business again. Definitely was worth the drive from Philadelphia in the middle of rush hour
Absolutely worst yard around. Purchased motor from him with a warranty. He recommended head gaskets to be changed. When to change them and the head bolts came out with the threads. He said it’s not covered under warranty and I’m out a motor and 600$ would never recommend them to anyone. Buys beware
Absolutely the best! I needed a discontinued part and searched for over a month. I contacted Green Lane Auto Sales and they found the part. Not 1 but 2 parts. Prompt, friendly and professional. My car would not pass inspection without it. Highly recommend!!!
The worse customer service I've ever seen! So my husband and I took an hr drive to head to this junkyard for a hood. As my husband is loading the hood in the car a guy pulls up with a dozer. My husband asked him if he needed him to move. He starts throwing his arms around like a 2 year old and automatically has an attitude. My husband backs up that was not good enough he wanted him to pull into a different spot instead of being a business man he's still throwing his 2 year old tantrum throwing his arms around like an idiot. My husband pulls up into the other spot. When he got out he asked him if he was seriously going to throw a tantrum the guy literally pulls the hood out of the truck like a big old kid and doesn't sell it to us. Which is perfectly fine there is a great upull it place right down the street with amazing prices called Harry's. I advise anyone to go see them. Good.luck dealing with the over priced man child. For what he was charging for just the hood I spent less and got WAY more down the road.
Needed a part and they had it. Called them, they pulled the part and had it ready for me. Drove 3hrs to get it and swapped old with new in 5 minutes and was back on the road heading home. Would definitely recommend and use them again.
The guy was really rude, not helpful at all I don't recommend this place. He also doesn't get back to you on if they have the parts you need. Waste of time and just plain ignorant.
Need good parts that actually work when installed? This is it. Every engine and transmission I buy works also the little parts. I install all the engines and transmissions that I purchase from them so I know first hand that they sell good used parts that they actually test.Great company great service great price.
If i could give zero stars on this review i would!! this is the most unprofessional place I have ever dealt with, I've been a technician for over 20 years and now own my own shop. when confronted with sending me a engine to NC with a blown head gasket they did not want to help in replacing motor, asked that i pull motor and spend another $400 out of pocket to ship that motor back and as a business told me I would not be refunded the 1200 charged for said engine. I would stay away from this place at all costs. They made numerous comments that I didn't do the job right, said we blew the engine and that it was our fault. we installed engine with new water pump, new thermostat and new radiator and new spark plugs. the motor was completely bled of all air in cooling system and motor would continuously bubble from radiator from exhaust gasses passing by head gasket into cooling system. We will be filing civil actions to get our money back due to the incompetence of this facility as they just cost me and my shop $1600 in motor and shipping costs, another $1500 for a motor from another location/salvage yard and 14.7 hrs labor replacing engine again. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE! AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!!!!
Update: After installing another used motor from different location and installing and filling fluids exactly as was done with engine sold to me by Green Lane, that vehicle ran fine and was delivered to the customer with no issues. That being said I was sent an email by the company continuing to explain how I did not do the install correctly and and what tool I needed to fill cooling system (that isn't needed, and that I already own as I'm an experienced technician and shop owner with more than 200k in tools and equipment and shop) as well as the fact they would not be refunding money for said engine, on top of the fact that if I didn't remove my google review they would be reviewing my business page in an attempt to bully me into removing it. I'm no push over, and I will not be bullied by a larger company because they feel that its ok to rip people off. I'm a legit business and back up everything I do for anyone who buys parts and or services from me. They stated that I melted the heat tabs they installed on the engine for overheating and that bc of that its our fault and damage done was due to our failure to fill cooling system. Yes the tabs melted, of course they will melt if engine gets hot that's what they are supposed to do. That being said those tabs are installed when motor is pulled and sent, not when motor is ran prior to removal. so if they did not fully run that engine and verify it had no blown head gasket (coolant was bubbling from radiator after install prior to engine being warm until point of overheat) then those tabs do no good except give them an out to say "well, it's not our fault".

Picked up an engine/trans for a swap about two years back, they worked with me until something came in I wanted, pulled it with a full harness, and even drilled and tapped the broken exhaust manifold bolts. Every port on the motor was capped. Engine and transmission had been taking all the abuse I put it through on the trail with no issues. Would definitely use these guys again.
These guys are friendly, responsive, and helpful. Highly recommend if you need parts. Purchased a Ford Ranger transmission and bucket seats, prices were reasonable. I called ahead and the parts were pulled and ready to go when I arrived.
I purchased a used engine with 49,000 miles on the odometer from Green Lane Auto Sales and Parts to replace my old engine that died on me. The engine that they sold me has performed very well for the first 2,000 miles of driving it. Sam, the man I bought it from, was honest and professional with the whole process. His price was fair and he even gave a 90 day warranty on the engine.
