I’ve been taking my Saab cars for inspections and small maintenance issues to Bob Wark Liberty repair garage for over 20 years. I took my Saab 2006 9-5 wagon for State inspection in January 2026. The car is maintained by Saab master mechanics and its condition was last reviewed by a top mechanic in October 2025. I was told by Dominic at Bob Wark’s that my car had failed inspection because of 3 broken rear suspension parts and two failed motor mounts. Dominic provided photos of these failures. I asked 3 times for estimates to repair these failures but even though the mechanic reviewing the car said it was a breeze to get parts because Saab had been owned by GM, Dominic would not provide estimates saying later that maybe I should go to a Saab mechanic to get the work done because they couldn't get parts. I showed the photos to two separate Saab mechanics and they told me there was nothing wrong with any of the parts which caused the inspection failure. They said there were typical cracks in the rubber parts of the bushings/suspension and motor mounts which is very normal and absolutely nothing in the failed inspection list was problematic. In fact, in doing the inspection, Bob Wark’s mechanic missed a leaking coolant hose which was about to fail and would have caused a catastrophic failure of the coolant system which could have caused an engine failure. I feel like I have been ripped off by Bob Wark and had to pay twice for my State inspection. Once to Wark and once to another garage whose owner has extensive experience with Saabs, Volvos and other European vehicles. I will never go back to Bob Wark Liberty even for gas and would highly recommend that others stay away from this garage for the incompetence and dishonesty in how they dealt with me.
I came out of work and found a flat tire. I pulled in and asked them to take a look at it. Within minutes my car was on a lift and the tire was assessed. It needed to be replaced, and I was presented with a reasonable bill. They got my new tire mounted and balanced and I was back on the road in an hour. These guys were polite professional and very helpful. Highly recommend!
The young man holding down the fort by himself on a rainy Sunday took great care of me and my ride. He found and fixed an issue with one of my tires within 90mins that another mechanic in Philly had misdiagnosed and missed on multiple occasions. Really appreciated this guy and wished I had cash on me to give him a tip. Hope management reads this. Take care of your employees and they’ll take care of the customers. My second oil change at this shop was a good experience just like my first one. Service is priced fairly and you feel a friendly, yet professional atmosphere. I felt I was in good hands both times. Will go back for my next oil change and/or other auto needs.
This garage is great. They’re very straightforward and honest. obviously busy enough to never have to push on the upsell. They just fix your car and they send it home.
Always a great experience at Warks. They identify the issue and provide the right fixes quickly. Their crew of professionals are a pleasure to deal with. Great overall value each time!
This establishment SAVED THE DAY FOR ME! Was driving from NJ to a clients home out in Narberth and noticed my car was shaking/vibrating. I pulled into Wark’s a nervous wreck and asked if they could take a look to see if I had a loose wheel or if it was something more serious (had work done on car at PepBoys a month prior). They had my car up on the shaft immediately. Mind you, they had other cars and customers but took me in immediately.
In the end it was found that there was a missing piece that PepBoys failed to put back on! And they took care of a much needed part that I had been putting off for quite some time bc of the price. Cost and labor was fair. My car is driving better than new. SO RELIEVED. This establishment can be TRUSTED and they know what they’re doing! Thank you Warks Team!
Since Costa’s (local favorite automotive repair shop closed - Dick Costa retired) - I’ve been taking my cars here to Wark’s. Each time work is prompt, fixed completely and priced fairly. I am becoming a regular customer.
They took very good care finding & fixing ALL the problems with my OLD (113,000 mile) MINI. Dominic kept me informed along the way & I will be returning if any other problems arise! Thank you!
Absolutely amazing! Dominic was super helpful and so nice! I went in for a inspection and emissions on the SUV I had just purchased from carvana and his guys found some issues with my suspension and another area had a leak, the quote he gave me was so reasonable, but on top of that he told me to call carvana and see what they will cover since I just got the car. I called they then needed him to call back and file a claim, to which he did immediately for me, he then had the parts there and my car fixed by 5 the same day! I didnt mention this was the day before Christmas eve and I came in for a 10am appointment and everything was ordered and fixed by 5pm! Not to mention carvana did cover the majority of the bill, which i would of never even thought to do without him! The remaining balance was literally to the penny of what I was told nothing added nothing changed! Im so grateful for Dominic and his staff! Its nice to know there are still honest people and car shops around in 2025 almost 2026! If you need anything done I highly recommend going to them! I also forgot to mention this was my first time there so I was a complete new customer and I was treated like he knew me for years!! Thanks again!!
Dominic and the Warks guys are great. Easy in and out for inspection and mechanic picked up another minor issue with my car. They’re a “go to” in the neighborhood
Needed 2 new tires. Replacing tires and all the work related to that was done quickly and carefully. Also the price for work done was quite reasonable. Highly recommend Warks!
I dropped my car off at 8am before work for an inspection. The person at the front desk helped me make sure I had the right documents, patiently explained what they looked like when I brought the wrong ones, and gave me multiple options for submitting them. I will definitely be returning next year for my next inspection.

I called first thing in the morning . I noticed a screw in my tire the night before . They said bring it over which I did . Told them I will wait for repairs sat in the waiting room and within 20 minutes I was out the door . Great service old school type of place with excellent service .
They won’t be out and beyond to fix my deceased stepdaughter‘s car. I couldn’t be happier with their service. They are the nicest people I’ve ever met and I will definitely be going back there.
While the work was done relatively quickly and for a reasonable price, the experience of interacting with the people there was so unpleasant and they were so rude that I plan not to go back there for service. A family member recently had the same kind of experience and made the same decision.
Wark's Liberty is a busy place and now I know why! This service shop has six bays and mechanics that know what they're doing! Being from the suburbs, when our car was dropped there by AAA for a flat tire late at night, I thought for sure we'd be paying city prices for service. Boy was I wrong! They had our car in and out in a very short time and the charge was surprisingly reasonable. I recommend anyone thinking about a service station to give Wark's a chance. You won't be disappointed!
These guys are very trustworthy and do great work. Dominic and Tony are the best. Although they can get frantic at times, and because they're so good making an appointment for work may take a week to schedule, I'll never go anywhere else.
If you go in for inspection and get told you need work over $200 or they will fail the visual part of inspection run. Went in for and inspection got a estimate for $1200+ of work that had to be completed. I was later told by the dealer that the bushings could have just been replace not what Warks was requiring in inspection. They either don't have the knowhow or the equipment to do the work. Run, run run
I’ve had 2 experiences as I am looking for a new regular mechanic. The first time they help me with my tires and were able to fit me right in and have me back out quickly. The second was for more serious work. They communicated satisfactory. They did listen to my limitations at the moment and fixed what I needed and gave me a good breakdown of what’s needed. Definitely a solid mechanic shop to trust.
Fast and affordable service for a quick tire patch. I realized I was losing pressure on my way home from work Friday afternoon, before all the kids’ pick ups. Was so happy I got in and out in probably what was 30 minutes. With only one vehicle as a family, it really saved us a lot of trouble. Thank you!
