Not happy , had vehicle for two days for standard inspection and emissions. Past both with flying colors, but I picked up my car with a mystery check engine light on. Turns out codes needed to be cleared no costly (Repairs needed ) Very defensive owner. Be aware !

Nothing but good things to say about Frank's and its owner, Charlie. We found them when our longtime mechanic retired a few years ago, and are lucky we did. Friendly, affordable, knowledgeable, and Charlie goes the extra mile for his regular customers. Absolutely fantastic.
Franks is the worst, I took my jeep their
to get fix it came back worst than it was , so I had to take it to another shop for the same problem and I told the mechanic Charlie and he wouldnt do nothing about it after I paid him all that money , so if you thinking about taking your car their dont you will regret it.
This was the worst case of customer care ever! I had a time sensitive appointment to get my car inspected, and this was the last day. I showed up for the appointment, and no one was there to greet me except a large bulldog who ran over to my car. I phoned the shop and someone named Charlie answered. I explained my fear of the dog, however he did not offer to put the dog aside so that I could enter saying, "he's fine" even though I expressed my morbid fear of the dog. I asked if that meant I had to stay in my car, and his reply was, "Well, the dogs are always here." I then had to spend the rest of the day searching for someone who could inspect my vehicle! Thankfully, a local Midas shop was able to help me. They were fast and friendly. While I respect and admire animal lovers for their relationships with their pets, I feel that shop-owners should also respect that some have deep-rooted fears and do not share their same sentiments. Frank's not only lost my business, but they also lost the business of many more who will.hear of this. Persons need to be more caring and sensitive to the needs of others when dealing with the public.
Great service! Got two new tires few months ago and new breaks a year ago. Reasonable prices and will definitly be back there in future!! He actually drove me to my house last year when I was waiting to get my breaks fixed! You won't get that service anywhere else!

First time getting an oil change since i moved to the area and I can say I like this shop. Charlie was easy to work with. The pricing was fair. Completed the job same day as drop off. Would highly recommend.

I took my car here once on the recommendation of a friend and never again. Four different brake lights came on in my car, VSC off, slippery, ABS and VSC trac. Charlie let me know that it was either a brake sensor or module. I asked how much to fix it and I was told it depended on how much I wanted to invest in the car since it was older. I was stunned by the response. He told me that if I wasn't bothered by the lights to just leave it go and it would be fine. I said ok, because I knew at that point I didn't want him working on my car. Then he said that it would be a $100. I was stunned again. I expected to pay for him telling me what was wrong with it but felt he should have told me up front that it was $100 whether it gets fixed or not.
Where do I begin with Franks Auto?
#1 They seem to be honest with their work unlike other shops I'll give them that.
#2 They take a lot longer than most shops but I would say finding good help has a lot to do with that, as they only had one mechanic in the shop.
On my first trip, I was getting a state inspection done, and they said they will call me when it's done. They called me and told me that my car is ready to be picked up and I arrived within 7 minutes of the phone call. I arrived at the shop and there was no one there at the shop. I asked the mechanic where the gentleman at the front desk was and he replied, "I'm not sure, he just left." Mind you, it is 92 degrees and humid on this day. And I can't even get into my car because the guy has my keys.
So you told me to come pick up my car, and then you proceed to leave the establishment. I waited 25 minutes for him in the heat to come back. And guess what? Not a single apology for leaving the shop and making me wait for almost half an hour.
Few months later, I decided to give Frank's another try.
I called them and made an appointment with them for another state inspection for a different car.
I come in and I tell him I'm here for my state inspection appointment.
His exact words, 'Shoot, we don't have any more state inspection stickers"
I look at him dumbfounded. I tried to keep calm, and I asked him, "
Why didn’t you call me and tell me not to come in if you knew you ran out of state inspection stickers?
His exact words, "WE don’t have your info written anywhere."
I replied, "What do you mean? When you took my appointment you wrote down my name and phone number.
His exact words, "We don't take appointments. We don't even have an appointment book" "I don't know who took your appointment" (He took the appointment over the phone)
Then he says, "We get really busy"
Then I replied, "Then why don't you have an appointment book?"
And once again his reply, "We get really, really busy"
At that point, my brain exploded!
Isn't that why you're supposed to have appointment books in the first place???!?!!!
Now remember, first trip, no apology. This second trip, once again, not a single apology. Despite being irresponsible, despite not keeping up to date with the times with having something as simple as an appointment book. Despite wasting my time, gas, and mileage.
Not a single apology. Only excuses.
I gave them 2 chances. I'm not willing to wait for 3 strikes.
They seem very friendly. They seem very honest. But very unprofessional. And horrible customer service, business model, and customer relation skills.
Frank and his Dad are extremely reliable and experienced.
Any car trouble you have they will get to the bottom of and rectify.
The customer service is top notch.
You cannot find nicer people.
I cannot say enough good things about Franks!! I have been coming here for several years and I will continue to do so. I work nearby and was just adding a quart of oil to my car when I made a bonehead mistake, I knocked the oil cap deep into the bottom of the engine area. I gave them a call to see what my options were and they basically came right over to my place of work and helped me out!!! I am extremely happy and relieved. Thank you Franks!!!
Just got my Lexus back from these guys after having some exhaust work done. I'm happy with everything about the experienceThey e ven fixed an issue I had with my front bumper cover with no charge. I will be making another appointment shortly.
I scheduled a appointment in advance but they did not expect me and were unprepared to receive me when I arrived. The two gentlemen that were there seem to be very friendly but they didn't even have me sign a work order before asking for my keys, I left my car there for five hours and then they called and told me that they would not be able to do anything and I should take it to the dealer. I don't think they did anything at all because my car was in the exact same spot and condition as when I arrived, they seemed a little shady so I don't think I will be going back there again
This is my go to place now. Finally found a reasonably priced quality repair shop. After receiving ridiculous quotes from dealers for rotors, brakes and sway bar replacement , decided to give this place a try and I’m more than happy. Charlie was very helpful, quick on the job and provided an overall great service. Most dealers try to set you up with unneeded repairs and squeeze every penny from you, but not this place. They diagnosed and fixed stuff to the point. I highly recommend this place.

Took my car in very quickly for an inspection. However told me he is no longer taking coupons for the $49.95 inspection. Made me pay $89.95...i am not happy...and will share...thanks for the response...however it would have been a nice for you to say i could use your stor coupon for $49.95...still not happy

I needed an inspection for my car. Franks is very close to where I live, so I thought i would give them a try. I made an appointment and dropped my car off the evening prior. They finished the inspection early the next morning and called me with the details when it was done. The cost for the inspection was reasonable and they provided high quality, honest and friendly service. I will most definitely be back for any future service needs and will recommend to friends and family.
