Our office has xmas luncheon downstairs; there's usually 10 - 11 of us. We're always 100% satisfied with service and food. I am always so happy each year when we are informed "Christmas luncheon: Jarrettown Inn". Looking forward to xmas 2026!! Kathy

Came here on a mostly empty Sunday night. Setvice was good, and the food was fantastic. We started with the pumpkin martini, which looked and tasted great. For apps we got the coconut shrimp and burrata, both of which were excellent. For entrees we had the Jarrettown and the special, which was a nice big filet with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The Jarrettown chicken was perfeclty seasoned and the pasta and vegetables in the cream sauce completed the dish. The filet was flawless and just melted in your mouth, and the mashed potatoes were some of the best we'd ever had. For dessert we had the brownie and ice cream, which was so good we tried to order a 2nd one but they were out of brownies. Service suffered slightly because of a difficult table next to us, but they tried there best to make sure everyone was attended to. And while everything tasted amazing, I had actually ordered veal with the Jarrettown but it came out with chicken. It was so good though that I only realized it halfway through the meal. They comped us that entree, which we appreciated but certainly didn't expect. We will definitely be returning here because now I have to try the veal!

Went for our anniversary dinner. Loved everything we ordered. Wait staff was amazing. Would recommend.

Food is pretty good. Service is decent. Atmosphere is welcoming. That said, their junior wait staff needs better training. On multiple occasions I’ve heard customers complain about not being attended to in a timely manner or just a general lack of respect from the younger wait staff. Tonight I witnessed it for myself. JH staff, please get your act together. I will not be going back any time soon

We have come here off and on for past 5 yrs. Tonight they were spot on with service, ( shout out to Sara our server) - she was fantastic and all the other servers were hustling also. Food was excellent and music was fantastic! Had a great outside finning experience here on a Saturday night, on holiday weekend. We will be back

Had an absolutely fantastic evening at Tuesday cigar night! From start to finish, this was an exceptional dining experience. The food was outstanding - started with the wedge salad which was fresh and perfectly dressed, followed by a pasta dish that was truly incredible. But the real star was the smoked steak, cooked to absolute perfection. Every bite was tender and flavorful. The service was top-notch throughout the evening. Our servers were attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. The outdoor patio creates such a wonderful atmosphere, especially for cigar night. It's the perfect setting to relax and enjoy great food, drinks, and cigars with friends.

We went to the Jarrettown Hotel restaurant today for our mother’s surprise party (large party of close. To 35) today and we couldn't have asked for more. The service was great! The wait staff and managers were friendly, attentive and so accommodating! The food exceeded our expectations and was delicious! Highly recommend!

We had lunch here today and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. It was a sunny, beautiful day, so we chose to sit outside and were seated right away. The service was friendly, attentive, and fast from start to finish. The menu is extensive, and the specials were especially tempting. We went with one of them, a breaded chicken sandwich topped with mozzarella and vodka sauce, something I’ve never seen on a sandwich before. It was absolutely incredible. We both enjoyed drinks with our meal, soaking in the atmosphere. Between the delicious food, great service, and perfect weather, it was a fantastic lunch. I highly recommend stopping by on a nice day, you won’t regret it. This place is a gem.

Had dinner there Monday night. I was treating 2 friends as a thank you. 2 of us ordered the “Special” NY strip steak. It was inedible. We couldn’t cut through it nor could we chew or swallow it. I was embarrassed because I chose the place. I hadn’t been there in YEARS and loved the old version. We had drinks and a nice appetizer. We were offered a free dessert after we complained but I had to pay for everything else. I won’t be returning ?

What was supposed to be a celebratory Mother’s Day dinner at this restaurant last night turned out to be a cringe-worthy disaster. Our main course arrived two-and-a half hours late. It felt like a lifetime! My pasta showed up limp and mushy, way over-sauced and sitting atop a glob of mozzarella. Inedible! My grandson’s salmon was dry and brittle, no doubt sitting two hours too long under a heat lamp. Inedible! My granddaughter told the waitress she was allergic to seafood. Her pasta in vodka sauce arrived with more seafood than the local fish market. Inedible! You would think our waitress would try to tide us over the long starvation period by refilling our soft drinks or bringing us a crust or two of bread, maybe with a few olives on the side—we’d even settle for the pits—anything to keep us from gnawing our napkins. Fuhgeddaboudit! It was a Mother’s Day meal we will not soon forget, though for all the wrong reasons!

The food is always amazing, love this place, very cozy. Service is on point.

I have been dining here for three years and I absolutely love it. I never post reviews because I am not easily impressed. Everything on the menu is fantastic. Drinks are spot on! Service is great. We have had Sarah as our server many times and she is wonderful ❤️. I also love that the staff does not turnover. The same great people have been working there for as long as I have been dining there. Bravo!

Posting this updated review because of the presentation of one appetizer we got last night. Our most recent stop at the Jarrettown was unplanned. We were heading home on a Monday evening and figured we’d drop in for a drink. Not being very hungry we decided to split an appetizer - Sesame Ahi Tuna. The tuna was great but the presentation was even better - “Jarrettown” written in Soy Sauce and Underlined in Wasabi Sauce. (Sous Chef Gus - Keep it up!) See picture below. *********** Prior visit- Stopped in and caught the end of Happy Hour. So, sat at the bar this time. Some decent Happy Hour pricing. ($7 well martinis, $9 meatballs parmigiana and $9 pizzas). The meatballs were very good as were the grilled shrimp. FYI - You only get 4 medium shrimp. The crispy Boardwalk pizza was good. Not so much for the Florentine pizza - It was a little too dry. Martel, the bartender, was great. ******* Prior visit - Have not been to the Jarrettown in a few years. Was glad to see food and service were still good. Made reservations there for Mother’s day lunch. Had to wait 10 minutes to be seated due to how busy they were. Food and service were good. All entrees were good. Cheese cake was good. Noise level was fairly high.

Great Italian restaurant with authentic food. The owner is from Italy and you can tell when you taste the food and the wine list is good but inexpensive in comparison to most restaurants

Attended a wine dinner and my group enjoyed it immensely. The food was excellent and paired well with the wine selections.

Had a very pleasant experience last night, we were a group of 8 we sat outside for dinner. The service was delightful, our waitress was attentive and helpful. The outside atmosphere was really nice and quiet the weather was great. There seamed to be plenty of parking. It was out first time there in sure we'll be back.

Outstanding experience at Jarrettown Hotel! Great staff and service and the food was outstanding! My wife and I started with the clams (diavlo sauce) and I had the tuna steak rare (picture) and she had the Mediterranean grouper (picture) - I definitely stole a couple bites. Would highly recommend with a good bottle of wine!!!

What a wonderful Mother’s Day dinner. Although it was on Saturday, I am glad we celebrated here. The dinner felt just as special as the ladies that enjoyed it. The food was AMAZING! We had the cheesesteak egg rolls, ‘cold’ seafood appetizer and Caesar / House/ Beet Salads to start. All were delicious and we did not leave any left over. ? The egg rolls and seafood was a large enough amount for the 5 of us to enjoy. Our entrees were delicious. I love the Shrimp and Scallop Risotto. That seafood is so fresh and satisfying. All of the dishes in the photos were splendid in their presentation and taste. The atmosphere is that of fine dining and if you’re celebrating a special occasion, it is just the perfect setting. The staff was very attentive and provided great service.

I came across this place on Google, and it was a perfect choice. The atmosphere was cozy, the food was to die for, and the service was friendly and sincere! My mom and I had a perfect early Mother's Day lunch. ? we will be back for her birthday with the family.??

Yum. Amazing! Great service from Nikki at the bar, great food and I felt that the price was fair. Not cheap but well worth the money. Surf n turf had the best crab cake I've ever had, and the filet was cooked to perfection, not to mention the Giant shrimp. We will definitely return.

Had lunch here a few days ago. A beautiful historic restaurant! My caprese salad was put together like a work of art & was delicious! Our waitress was very nice, pleasant & efficient. Very recommended.

Very nice and warm atmosphere. The service was very good. I got the salmon and it was overcooked, but the flavors were still good. I'm local to the area, so I will come back and try some more things.

We went there for an office dinner and reserved a private room. The service was good and everyone loved the food and the ambience too. This is a nice fine-dine restaurant which was full at the peak dinner time. So an advanced reservation is highly recommended. Would definitely visit this place again.

The food was INCREDIBLY good. 5 stars would have been if they had better cocktails... but that Espresso Martini... MUST HAVE. It's a very intimate environment. I will definitely be back. The staff made me feel completely at home. You will not be disappointed here.

Excellent service. And the food was soooo good. Beet and goat cheese salad with grilled octopus on the side. Love it!!!
