Everyone is so nice at BATS. The staff helped me get a huge wool rug in my jeep like pros! Thank you so much! Great prices! You can find anything you need. We'll organized and so much better than buying from stores and malls! It has everything for holidays, birthdays, and kitchen supplies. Great clothing selection as well! Plus great fabrics for projects!

This place used to be a wonderland, I guess they re modeled and now its a basic good will with about a third of the inventory it used to have, really was disappointed coming back from the last time I was here.

I absolutely love going to this second hand store. I'm always looking for victoria secret items and I truly appreciate them charging only 50 cents for women's panties/underwear. They always seem to have a great selection of VS items to look through in the binds.i highly recommend this place to anyone. They have great prices. I truly hope they get more victoria secret items in.

A good thrift store that benefits the local school. Prices are more reasonable than a lot of other thrift stores

LOVE this place. Add it to your "thrifting-day-out" with your friends. While it doesn't have quite the same charm as the old barn, this place still has charm by the spades. It has more space for great donated items, and you'll be happy to know that they've kept their prices nice a low. I ALWAYS find a treasure, much to my husband's chagrin. For example, I found this Butter costume for $3!! I can't even buy real butter for $3. :)

While I’m still sad to see that the original barn went I am really glad our community relocated the thrift store. Love bats, love that the proceeds support the church and the elementary school. Such a staple of the community and always happy to donate and shop here.

This place is one of the only TRUE thrift stores remaining in the area. Their prices are incredibly fair, everything is displayed beautifully and organized well, and the space is nice and open. Be prepared to spend a lot of time hunting for treasures here!

Such a great place! Great selection of home and kitchen goods and lots of other odds and ends. Small clothing section but everything i've seen is gently used. Very well organized.

Some really rare finds, from antiques to vintage. Great stuff. Super friendly atmosphere

Great place for some thrifting experience. I got some clothes for a great price. They have a big variety of books and vinyl too. The place is brand new and super clean, their fitting rooms are super stylish. Overall, good experience. It can get quite crowded in the weekends though.

This place has a very peculiar vibe. The woman at the checkout counter, I believe her name is Suzanne, comes across as inattentive and distracted, often focusing on her daughter instead of customers. Her appearance seems a bit unkempt, which, oddly enough, fits the overall atmosphere here. If you’re seeking a quirky, small-town thrift store experience, this might be worth a stop. Otherwise, you might find it a bit unsettling—perhaps not the best fit for everyone.

While the new barn location doesn’t offer the same aesthetic (how could it?), it’s still adorable, spread out now, and you’ll find great items at the same low prices. And let’s not forget all of the wonderful, helpful people who work there! Our favorite local thrift!

Edith and I have been going to BATS since 1996. It is one of our favorite thrift stores, and it is always good to see Brenna, Peter, and Nina there. All of the volunteers are hard-working and dedicated. I always find something awesome or unusual there, and i visit BATS weekly. Keep up the excellent work! Update May 2023 ! I was so sad that BATS closed down for good. It opened in 1993 and i have been going there since 1996. It was sad. I visited there on the very last day they were open and spoke to Brenna and Nina. The new Bats barn will open in a year or so about a mile, away from the original, but it will never be the same. Thanks for decades of great deals and nice people there!

Cute, unassuming thrift store in a barn, but not for me. Not worth bending yourself backwards to make it there during their weird hours. If you are a collector or dealer looking to source, this is not the place for you. It looks like owners keep anything vintage for decor (or maybe for themselves or to sell somewhere else)

BATS is a neat little place to walk around. It is great for household items. I usually don't have much luck with their clothes selection though and they don't carry a ton of furniture items. But we enjoy visiting. They only take cash or check.

The Bryn Athyn Thrift Shop is a must visit if you like to thrift and browse. There are so many items, of all types. Some may be overwhelmed at first. There are Christmas decorations and decor for everyone. The prices are good, actually some are great. The store itself is organized and maintained. The way it’s decorated is something to see. The employees are professional and kind. Honestly, if you have collections you’ll probably find something to add here. Outside of the store is lovely. Parking is limited. They only take cash.

CASH ONLY ! (Or checks) AWESOME fill a trash bag for $5 on Halloween costumes & Halloween accessories/clothing. Mainly for kids (infant - small teens) Had to run to the ATM at wawa to take cash out because they didn’t have a ATM inside (They should have signs outside). They have a LOT of women accessories. I wish they had more women sizes (large and up) / women clothing in general. They’ve got coats , shoes , hand bags, gloves , etc. GREAT deals on everything. They have paintings , books, kids toys, sport equipment, strollers , bikes, etc. The venue is super gramable/ it’s inside a huge barn . They have two floors and on the second one they have all the clothing with a changing room. I wish they would dedicated upstairs ONLY to clothing (half side men/boys and half side woman/girls) . Volunteers were nice also. I walked out with my $5 bag of Halloween items, some scrubs, a windbreaker, 2 collectible dollies, ankle warmers and a indoor scarf . Came up to $37.

I usually love this place! But recently, the cashier was so rude. She was on her phone while I just had to wait for her and she then threw all my items in a bag without care (fragile items). She wasn’t just rude to me but everyone else. She needs to check herself.

This place is wonderful. Great atmosphere and great people. We met a fellow thrifter named Jan who bought us a shirt and a lamp and told us great jokes. She was awesome :) an overall top notch thrifting experience.

I discovered this little tucked away gem years ago while living in the Northeast, and have been going there for years, even after moving away, making a point to stop over each time i visit hometown. Great stuff, very eclectic, fair prices, very friendly people. It's a fun place to people watch while rummaging for treasures and chachkes. Great place for Halloween costumes and Christmas stuff.

I love this place, such a beautiful shop. I was there the second day they opened and it was a full house. I bought many goodies for reasonable prices, unfortunately the lady who was bagging my items left a couple of them out of the bag and still charged me for them. I came home to see that a few things were missing from my shopping bag. I was sad about it but I would definitely enjoy going back there to shop again! I will definitely make sure all things are bagged this time around. I understand that there was a lot going on during the second day so I don’t blame them!
