Bought a transfer case for my toyota matrix from shortys. Ended up going to a wrong address and they stayed late for me to pick up since I traveled over 2 hours. Great people great prices. Recommend for any auto parts!
Grew up in Montco and I can't tell you how much this place saved me as a kid. Fixed my car with parts from here all the time. Super fair pricing. Recommended to a friend that moved into the area recently and went with him to pull some parts.
Shorty's U pull it truck yard is permanently closed but I was able to find the part I needed for my Lincoln Navigator at the other yard and they had in stock already pulled out which I didn't have to take it out myself and for a lot cheaper than what I was going to pay at another place plus I would've had to take it out myself. Thanks to the staff at shorty's who were very helpful.
Shorty's is my number one place to find the part that i need. It is still only $2 to get in and walk the grounds as you search for the car you're looking for and the to see of they have your part. It's been years since I was here but everything seemed to be as i remember it to be. They do seem to be stripping the cars down more than they did in the past. This does make it easier for you to get your part as there is less work you need to do.

Great prices and found just what I needed! The staff was knowledgeable. Their online store is really useful too. Definitely check this place out if you're looking for parts or even just need a battery. I'll be a repeat customer.
The worst customer service I have seen in a while.
As you walk in two guys at the front desk don't even acknowledge that you entered, pretend that don't see you. Then I approached the one on the left , said Hello, got nothing in response. Don't get me wrong I don't expect him him to jump at me like a car salesman, but at least he could have said " Hi, what can I get for you?". I guess it's too much. Moving on. I asked him to see the part (wheel) before he removes it, just to make sure the condition is good and he is not taking the part off before I make my decision. He said no, how much sense doesn't it make to take something off just to show it, if I can see it's condition without him removing it.
Secondly. Cash only. What if you don't have a cash ? You would have to drive for 20 minutes just to get some cash, cause closest ATM is 10 min away.
I don't recommend this place, because I felt like their representatives were doing me a favor by doing their job.
I was so impressed by the professionalism of this establishment. Jimmy is the man to see he found me a differential and had it installed the very next day , Tho a bit pricey the job was top notch, also let me mention Jay he was a huge help will be doing all my mechanical work here and I'm from New York ,! Jay was super helpful and patient finding me a rear differential for my truck. After struggling to find a mechanic in the city to swap it for me, Jay referred a quick and reliable mechanic he trusted at a reasonable price. I Will definitely be back for any future truck parts.

These guys are awesome. Super friendly and reasonable to negotiate with. Found what I needed plus more and they let me come back the following day to pay the little amount I was short...I went back to pay them what I owed because they treated me so well! Def check them out. There's another yard close by they own too, this is their tiny lot the other yard they have is humongous!
Jay is the man! I had to replace the hybrid battery on my Ford Escape Hybrid. Jay found me one from an 06 Mariner. Gave me a 90 day warranty. I was thinking it was to good to be true. The battery was in great condition. It checked out fine in Forscan. After running a rebalance, the Escape is now running better than it was 5 years ago. Perfect communication, scheduling, and product.

I called them and told them what I needed and they took it off without a deposit. Love that especially if you have to drive 30 to 45 minutes away. TO have trust in people to come and pickup a part is the best feeling.

You-pull-it auto parts. Semi-big yard. Good verity of parts and motors. Good selection of vehicles. You can scrap cars here. Drive up scale. Buy used batteries.
Ordered a transmission from them shipped to Detroit, Michigan. Their pricing was fair. Shipping was on time and I received tracking information for the freight carrier. They also list some of their used parts on ebay which adds an extra layer of buyer protection. The transmission arrived well packaged and got me back on the road. I would order from them again.
Shorty can save you a lot of money or can make you a lot of money but you have to search through 100's of cars.the are sorted by manufacturers Gm,Ford,Chry etc.
You must be or bring mechanic as it is u-pull it. And don't kid yourself, they will not have a new model in u-pull it. Mostly 10 years or older ,but that's usually when they break down. It's $ 2.00 to walk the yard.

Not like it used to be in the "good old days" but still worth a shot if you are looking for parts to pull yourself for reasonably common 10+ year old car. You will save money over buying new. If you are local, worth the trip. Probably not worthwhile if you have to drive 1/2 an hour to get here.
I recently went to shortys u pull it in king of Prussia and just wanted to share with people and the owner of shortys the experience I had. I have been a junkyarder for most of my life and have never had as pleasant of an experience as I did there...Bruce who was running the show was the most pleasant and helpful person. Usually the guys behind the counter are miserable and hate their life,and yours. The owner needs to know how important he is to his yard....I will always go here for that reason even though it's a 45 minute ride and a toll charge, it's still worth it. If you don't mind getting dirty the prices are good too.
We've had a pretty decent experience with the service at Shorty's. We've scrapped several vehicles with them. The majority of which had to be towed, which they took care of easily given their relationship with Jamison's towing. Overall service has been good as far as getting these vehicles taken care of over the course of a few years now. The people working there were nice and knowledgeable for what we needed. The big negative here is that they are pretty cheap on the money they offer. They charged us a good deal for them to come take a boat (with trailer, which I seen them put out front for sale once they removed the boat from it) and a camper from our property. I know they must have made something from that, in addition to the several hundred they charged for them to take it. And then the money they offered for the vehicles along with some scrap metal was really low, especially given the overall weight of some of the vehicles we scrapped. If you have something in drivable condition, you will make out much better taking it elsewhere. And for just general scrapping, definitely take that to another site.
I was very impressed with the professionalism, courtesy and drive for customer satisfaction that I experienced with Shorty's Auto Parts, King of Prussia, Pa. I dealt with Matthew in the Ebay division, however everyone I talked to had the same drive to help me. The ole-time style of actually caring about the customer relationship is alive and well at Shorty's. I definitely will continue to buy there and recommend my friends to do the same.
