Great little spot where the locals hangout. Food and beverage prices are very reasonable. If you are up tight and looking for fine cuisine this place isn't for you, however if you can socialize and kick back and relax with some cool people. This is the place to be.

Have been driving past here when we come to pa , and always say we are going to stop in ! So glad we did ! Food was delicious! Waitress was very nice ,and we will be back most definitely! Since we live in Bergen county nj ,it's a drive but well worth it! Sausage burger was excellent as well as pot stickers and orange feta salad ! Only complaints would be to provide patrons with menu of daily specials. Didn't know about them till we saw them posted near table people were seated at ,would have to literally stand there next to them to read menu

May be the best dive bar I’ve ever gotten a beer and meal at. Finished skiing at Shawnee and was looking for dinner. Had a great pulled pork sandwich for only $9. Had a great selection of beer. Would come back to Shawnee just to go the this bar. Overall 6/5.

What a gem. Best bar food around. Highly recommend the french onion soup, fried pickles and sob burger. One of the best I ever had. You wont regret this place!

Stopped at this gem with my dad for a drink & quick bite to eat. The cheesesteak was amazing & the bartender was very nice. We will deff stop by again!

Every year when we come up to hike, we stop in at least once for lunch and or dinner. Service, food, value for price, and atmosphere are outstanding. Never had a bad meal, bad service no matter how busy. Absolutely love this place.

Awesome little gem among gems. Food is excellent and huge portions, service is above and beyond expectations....and the desserts are homemade and totally delicious. Love this place! You won't be disappointed!

place is tremendous, we had lunch before a show at Shawnee Playhouse we both had the chicken sandwich with the grilled sourdough bread oh so freaken good and the waffle sweet potato fries are delicious,cant wait ti go back there ti eat

We ate here as we passed through on our way to New Jersey on a Friday night. Great small town tavern atmosphere. Two ladies did double duty as bartenders and waitresses, they did a phenomenal job. The food was great, all in all, I wish we could eat here every Friday night.

The waitress/ bartender did an excellent job. We stopped for lunch at around 2 PM. The food was very good. Chicken parm sandwich, sausage sandwich & French onion soup.

Absolutely love this place found it by accident the atmosphere is insanely comfortable The bartenders are great and the food is fantastic I recommend the Poland for dinner

I was there on Friday, July 25th for dinner and beers. The wings were delicious and the chef salad was huge, fresh, and masterfully presented. The portions are large and very reasonably priced. There was an impressive choice of beers and the service was first class. It is my #1 choice of where to eat and drink in the Pokonos. Thank you!

Food is always great here! I suppose it's what you'd call a "dive bar", but the restrooms are always clean, they have a great assortment of beers and hard ciders and other bottled alcoholic drinks. Very reasonable prices!

Stopped in for a bite at the historic Minisink Hotel. Food was good. Service was good. Mozzarella sticks were crispy on the outside and flavorful. Chicken parm was good and a nice sized portion. Chicken wings had just the right amount of heat.

7/1/25 late dinner, had the cheese steak with onions, mushrooms and peppers. Really good and subbed a side of macaroni salad instead of chips - great choice (for me) i liked it, hopefully you do too, if you choose that. It's mayo based and multiple shapes of macaroni. 10/9 back for a meeting and some good food and beer! I had the Chicken Parmesan, it was good. Also a couple of nice craft beers. 5/29/23 been awhile since i was here. Nice to be back. Great to see friends too! Food is always good and the beer selection is amazing! I'll be back sooner this time... Ha

Service 10/10- super quick, super nice and accommodating Huge beer selection of local and imported beers, I personally ordered a strawberry shortcake flavored beer that was delicious Now to food. Everything was fresh,well seasoned and tasty We ordered : *Orange feta salad - the dressing was so good I used it on my turkey burger as well.The salad had great fresh ingredients and we finished it clean off the plate *Fried pickles - nuci and crispy *Cheese filled pretzels - delicious and had a little bit of a spicy kick we loved *Turkey Burger - was nice and juicy,I was pleasantly surprised *SOB Burger with tater tots - great combination of ingredients and the tater tots were crispy *Veggie pasta- was actually not on the menu,made for our friend who is a vegetarian and it was very flavourful We also ordered the Blueberry trifle and the Peach Cobbler for dessert.Both were so good, great finish for the meal. All the food is reasonably priced The place has a nice lodge bar look and feel with a pool table and some dart games and great soundtrack! 10/10 I would definitely recommend and can't wait to come back again

I came in for Columbus Day lunch with my wife. This my first time and her second. We loved the food, the atmosphere, and the service. The setting was informal, friendly, bar and grill with a pool table. There was outside seating with a roaring creek and a walking bridge to a park like setting with a bamboo forest. A very nice place to go and relax with family and friends. Inexpensive and delicious. Highly recommended!!

Very relaxing meal after a nice hike in the area! Enjoyed the Fish & Chips as well as Sweet Potato Waffle fries w/ mozzarella cheese. Friendly environment with great staff!

great food. Kristin is a sweetheart. But i wouldnt recommend kids. Def more local bar scene than tourist place. Cursing didn’t bother me since I didn’t have my kid with me. I would def go back with just hubby though. They do have Gluten free rolls for sandwiches. Didn’t order GF this time (celiac person didn’t come) so can’t review if safe or not. I also know there is no breading on wings.

I LOVE this place — it is my go-to. Every single time i’m at Del Water Gap. The food and drinks are so decently priced, and the food has me coming back. The french onion soup is the arguably the best i’ve ever had, can’t go wrong with their pierogies or some grilled cheese comfort food. I love the simple small town bar/restaurant vibe of this place and yearn for it whenever im not there. They even have darts and a pool table. Outside there is a creek with a bridge you can cross. Very nice, all year round.

This is a great little restaurant just a few miles down the road from Shawnee Mountain. Pros: Delicious burgers and lots of other delicious food great prices friendly employees & owner clean restroom with paper towels no masks required at all. lots of tables cool decorations real wood fired fire place to keep warm & toasty in the winter plenty of parking free parking Fast service Great music Friendly customers Cons: Parking lot is muddy and a few potholes. Pizza sauce is a bit sour

Good is great, drinks are cold and good. And service is amazing. (Desserts vary and every time we go we just love them)

I have to say .. Katy our server was amazing.. she was the only person on the floor and she killed it! She ran multiple tables, bartended, sat customers, ran her own food, service was fast and sweet, never wrote anything down... btw it all came out correct.. and she bused her own tables .. not once did any one have to wait for a thing.. so attentive is a severe understatement.. the place is very dive bar with excellent food.. pricing is so cheap it’s unbelievable.. I can’t wait to go back again when I return to the area ..

Great little bar/grill! We were recommended this place and since we weren't from the area, we thought we'd check it out! Burger was delicious and the drink prices for beers are cheap!! They have a pool table, its $1 per rack or $5 for 6 racks. It's self seating and there is a bar too. Menus are all over the walls so you can see what you want to order while looking around. If we lived closer we would definitely be here a lot!! Hopefully we can come back soon!
