We had a tee time today that we made a week ago. Thought I’d try a new place today. My friends and I walk in and the guy at the pro counter tells me I can’t play there because I had pockets on the side of my shorts (cargo shorts). I have played at all of the courses in our area and beyond. I’ve never been turned away because of cargo shorts. And they also told my friend that he has to tuck in his shirt. I always practice good golf etiquette. This was disappointing. I personally willing to pay $100 for a round of golf should not be turned away because of having pockets on the side of their shorts. Do better Buck hills.
The course is in fantastic condition everything from the tee boxes, fairways and greens. The staff is awesome as well. Was just such a pleasure to play.
Buck Hill oozes old time charm. The gurgling stream running past the practice green and clock sets the tone. Head across the classy stone bridge to three nines. Conditions were the finest of any course, even private, that i have played in the past few years. Staff starting with the pro, Brian, and assistants were terrific. The course is a great example of mountain golf - hilly, some blind shots, and smallish, treacherous, greens. My group of 12 agreed it’s our new favorite in the Poconos.

Beautiful conditions, course improvements are making a huge difference... such an outstanding golf experience... love the views and stonework... get up there and play if you have an opportunity to do so... one of the best courses in the Poconos
We played all 3 courses and they were all in great condition. Greens were punched but still rolled very well and the tee boxes and fairways were well drained from a huge rain storm last week and in perfect condition.
The food was good, and there was a nice variety of choices on the menu. The atmosphere is very comfortable and attractive. Our service was average, though the manager, Chastity, bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed and that we were happy. We are definitely returning.
Buck Hill Falls is a wonderful place, great course, great folks and very accommodating. Group of 30 from CT on a trip played last week at several courses in the area and Buck Hills went out of their way to accommodate us when a planned course venue fell through due to maintenance issues. Course was very playable yet very challenging, a unique combination. Course conditions and greens were terrific. Folks there were really great. Can’t say enough about the place. Will definitely be back. I highly advise you to check it out.
Great place to play golf. Tom is a top notch guy, he welcomed my oldest son and I on Easter Sunday for a great round of golf. I would encourage anyone to go out and enjoy a great round of golf at Buck Hill Golf Club...! Great staff all around and a great environment.
This is another beautiful and challenging golf course in Northeastern Pennsylvania. The course is very well kept, the groundskeepers should be lauded for the outstanding conditions. An 18 hole course with a little bit of everything to challenge your skills but also not just for professionals and low handicappers. Call for a tee time and see for yourself.
Went to Buck Hill for the first time in May of 2014 with a group of guys who had been going on an annual Pocono Open for 39 years. 2015 will be the 40th.
My Dad has been going for 24+ years and for the first time I was finally able to go with him. With school, then college and playing baseball year round, I was never able to go.
May 31st, 2014, I shot my first hole-in-one on Blue #5.
What an experience! What a beautiful area! What beautiful courses.
Buck Hill has 3 separate 9-hole courses. One day you might play White and Red, then play Blue and Red... It can always change.
Driving down from the driving range, my dad was showing me the scenery, the waterfall, and we look up and there is our nations bird. A massive Bald Eagle is sitting in the tree above us. With the Pocono mountains off in the distance and the water fall below the bird... What a sight!
But what would everyone do at that moment? Grab their phone... I enjoyed the moment with my Dad and enjoyed the scenery of this beautiful land.

Are you a fan of corn hole or horseshoes? Drive about 3 minutes down the street and take on the beautiful playing field of Lawn Bowling.

Went up to Buck Hill Golf Club this past weekend to play 27 holes as part of my bachelor party. All I can say is this course is top notch in every aspect. Service was excellent. The people were extremely friendly. The food was fantastic. The course was one of the best, if not THE best course I have ever played in my life. The conditions were incredible. The views were some of the most beautiful I have ever seen on a golf course. Tee boxes, fairways, rough, and greens all in tip top shape. I have played a handful of other courses in the Poconos and this is by far the best. My buddies and I all agreed we will be playing Buck Hill every time we come up to the Poconos for our golf trip. If you are thinking about playing Buck Hill, make sure you do.
