All employees were super. I stopped in because I heard a noise when braking. They did an evaluation and found I needed new rotors. Showed me the bad part and gave me a complete explanation of repairs. I would highly recommend this business.
I went out due to my car having a flat tire I took used tire it wasn’t keeping air cuz there was a hole… so what they did was charged me for minimum to none to fix it they put a scrap tire on to hold me until I could get another one they all so respectful and always do amazing work they never fail me when I need them…
I knew what was wrong with my vehicle. I also researched the average price for repair. I called a few places. I was told it would take awhile and the quote was higher than average.
Then I remembered having an oil change here a few years ago and that was a good experience. I gave them a call. I actually got to talk to someone in the shop. They gave me a quote, less than the average, and told me they could do it today and have it done in three hours.
They gave me a ride home and picked me up when it was done. The kid that drove me was very sweet. We talked about fatherhood, fast cars, and even sad stories.
The manager was awesome, even offering to show me the problem before and after to reassure me.
The guy that did the repair even took the time to talk to me about cars. His name is Josh and the only name I can remember.
Very nice guys and a great experience. I’m gonna call in the morning because my truck needs some work! My new mechanics!
Monro saved the day, had an unscheduled appointment to replace tires following a tow to the shop. I was greeted with professionalism given options of tires and was done in a short amount of time.
I went in the same day and they put it on the lift. They did a mid muffler delete for me. But I have an exhaust leak. the weld isn't a good one either. The people were nice. The welds still have wires out. The welds weren't even on the metal. It was on the wire not the exhaust. It would be a great price if the weld was better. but they where amazing people. nice, showed me around at stuff
I was on my way to a viewing when I started hearing a rumbling sound. Turns out, my left rear tire was completely flat. AAA towed me to the shop after finding out they not only had my size of tire, but the same brand and could take me in right away.
Georgie was at the front desk. Super nice and polite. Very helpful and took care of my car like it was his own. Did a great job. I live about 120 miles away but if they were close, they’d be my shop of choice. If you live near there and need service, they are the only ones you should take your vehicle to.
Monroe is excellent and Frank , the service Manager is friendly , honest , transparent , knowledgeable, and helpful ! I will continue to take all three of my vehicles there !!

This was an emergency visit for me. Both of my back tires had blown and I came in with 2 spare tires. I had tried 2 other businesses on this Saturday - both told me they were closing "in 2 hours" and did not have time to take care of me. I called Monro and although I had a bit further to drive, I am so happy I did!! Your staff is incredible. So kind and helpful!! 100% recommend!
I broke down 5 minutes from Monro on Friday two hours before they closed. Frank got 4 tires replaced in a little over an hour and got my van full of stuff back on my way to Cleveland faster than I could have imagined and the van is riding smooth and true again.
Highly recommend Frank to anyone in the area looking for a fair and fast shop!
It was one of the best experiences I had they really worked with you and they try to do what they could to help you out even though the quote was one price and at the end it was totally different but I still respect it and I appreciate their service really professional and they have a lot of courtesy and that's anywhere you go as far as getting a quote for one thing and it has to be something else that's understandable and respectful and if it wasn't for them guys we want to meet my fiance wouldn't have made it home cuz I lost the brakes in my rotor in caliber so I'm really glad that they did discover that and was able to get me back on the road safely thank you guys
I took my car in for my state inspection at 11. My inspection didn't get done till 2:30. They had to take my car to Subaru to finish the inspection because they ran out of stickers. I was late picking up my boyfriends little niece from daycare. I think the 3 hour wait was crazy. Other than that everyone was polite.
Do not take your car here for inspection, I was told my back brake pads would not pass inspection that they were disintegrating , granted they were just changed pretty recently, also they told me I needed new wiper blades which were changed about a month ago. I declined paying 169 dollars for them to be changed and took it to another mechanic who asked what shop I took it too, because the brake pads had plenty of life and my wiper blades were fine. If you want to get gouged I’d recommend you take your car here. Two stars because the guy at Monro at least didn’t charge me for a failed inspection. Hmm I wonder why??
Had a bad experience there a few months ago. One of their employee's was arguing with people in a FB group and started looking us up in their companies files for her arguments. Lady told us "Frank must of overcharged you" And blocked us shortly after. Emailed the company about that suspicious remark n haven't heard a word. Unprofessional? Inappropriate? Overcharging ??
I'm blown away by the outstanding service from Frank and his team! They handled my rental car tire issue with incredible speed and expertise. From start to finish, they kept me informed and took care of everything, including billing the rental company. I can't recommend them enough!
2nd time now there's been an issue when taking my vehicle there. Trust me when I say there most definitely will not be a 3rd. Was just there in August for an oil change & state inspection. During the inspection the "mechanic" was taking off my lug nut covers & lug nuts to install new brakes they said it needed. They were getting stuck in the tool he was using so he'd bang the tool off stuff to get them to come out & they were flinging around onto the floor & stuff. We ended up being out there for at least 4 hours. We eventually were "finished" I paid & we left. Next day I had to stop for air in my 1 tire & noticed quite a few of my lug nut covers were missing. I immediately called out to Monro & they told me to bring it out such & such a day & they'd "fix it". The guy said they had none there, some were broke or probably got thrown away but they'd order new ones asap. I've called & stopped out numerous times & they give me different excuses. Here it is October & I still haven't heard anything. Called the main office & got a corporate number to call. Called it twice so far & ended up on hold at least an hour both times. Still nothing. Very poor service, customer service, management, & even at the corporate level. Most certainly will never recommend the place. No wonder all I hear are bad things about the place. The "manager" & "receptionist" both said it would be a better experience this 2nd time cause it was new management. They couldn't be farther from the truth. The service was way worse. Very unprofessional. Ridiculous!
Replying to the "owners" response: If you read the review you'd see I've attempted to call that phone number twice & only ended up being put on hold for 1 hour both times!! Calling the number got me nowhere!!
Stopped by on a whim due to needing a tire out on the rim, put on, balanced, etc and was the absolute best choice we could’ve made. The staff is super helpful, friendly, and will give you a good laugh. They did the service is record fast time and extremely cheap! Can’t recommend Monro enough!
We went in because our engine was overheating and pumping out coolant. They did an inspection and determined it was the thermostat n needed to be replaced, "tested it and everything else is perfect", no leaks. $550 fix (actual part was little over 80 dollars) and we are on our way. 2 days later n our coolant tank is bone dry again, we bring it back for an inspection and suddenly our water pump is leaking? They quote us $877, $212 for parts, $576 for the mechanics labor. Convenience fee to fill the gap in price.
Called a competitors about the same fix n got quoted $400 n less.
Literally bilking the prices, learn from our mistake n take your car anywhere else!
I had a flat tire while I was delivering for pizza hut. Took it here an the customer service was great. Very nice polite place. Answer any question u have an decent prices.
I would not recommend Monro muffler to anyone ! Very high priced , when I specifically told the mechanic to order me the cheapest part ! It was a few days before Christmas, my husband and I were shopping when my car took a fit and needed fixed ! Monroe was the closest garage to get too. We were not offered a payment plan or any other options !! Over $300 bucks to fix my car , when it definitely could of been done way cheaper !! Merry Christmas to you guys. You got your Christmas bonus from us !!!
I have a large camper van and am on a long trip. I was in the mountains and realized my rear brake was smoking. Scary. I went to Monro Mufflers & Brakes for help and got royal treatment. They put my van into the bay, analyzed the problem, made recommendations and got the parts. Very pleasant people who care about the customer. Fantastic service.

This location knows us by name! The employees genuinely care about our vehicles for inspections, oil changes, and other repair/tire services. When we were new to the area, they helped us with our vehicle needs right from the start and we are repeat customers because of their excellent and friendly customer service. It’s good to know a local shop like this takes good care of their customers and takes pride in their work. I always feel like they go the “extra mile” to ensure we have a good service experience and we will continue to bring our vehicles here to our local Monro for the years to come!
