Great group of guys to work with ,and a even better transmission!!! I Contacted Colton a couple of days ago, requesting a transmission ASAP, they built a transmission for us to pickup in a day! , very easy to work with, we had a 600+ mile trip, and informed them we may arrive after closing,and they were willing to have someone wait for us after hours if needed!! Only Ford transmission builder I recommend now a days!!

Update after 3 years, 6 trips from KY-PA and back, and 6 transmission replacements. Kept having issue after issue; bearing failed and sent metal through transmission, then torque converter failed and would no longer lock up, forgot an internal bearing during assembly, 2 different transmissions with over heating issues(one they would have caught if they had test driven it for more than 15 minutes) I thought highly of these guys, they treated me well up until the last failure, I was hoping it was a string of bad luck because they have such a good reputation but that just doesn't seem to be the case. I spoke with Andy after the last failure and after swapping in a stock unit that has been flawless, and he informed me that they could refresh it (warren unit) for me for $1200, after all the failures he's taken care of no charge I had no issue with that even though I was out tons of time, money, and milage that comes with driving an F450 on a 1000 mile trip, 6 times. I call the beginning of the week that I planned to make the trip to do the swap, and was met with hostility from Cordell in the office from the moment they realized who I was, and was then told it was going to be $2000 now, and no reason as to why, but I was sure it was because they feel they were losing too much money to keep replacing these transmissions, because I agree it has gotten ridiculous at this point. I just want my truck to work. After i paid and we swapped, I let them know i will not be coming back. Another point brought up by Andy was that I was not the original purchaser of the transmission, which is true. I bought the truck from a gentleman that had had the work done not even 6 months beforehand, and I paid a premium for the truck because of this top of the line built transmission, as well as verified with Kayla and Andy at Warren before I purchased the truck that I would have support. In the end I now have a stock transmission in my truck and it finally works as it should, as well as a ton of other new parts that Andy and Cordell told me I needed (ENTIRE cooling system, TCM, harnesses, etc) which I did not need at all. I've been without my truck for months and missed out on an ungodly amount of work, just to be met with a bill, an attitude, and this 6th transmission that I'm hesitant to install in any truck that tows daily. Take my experience for what its worth, if you hotshot or tow heavy daily i don't recommend these guys, or if you're not the original purchaser and are looking at a truck with a Warren trans to buy, do not expect them to work with you if you have issues. They want to place blame on the truck itself, not their product that will not hold up, and have no problem extorting additional money from me the week before Christmas "just because" ---------------------- Just wanted to give Andy and the whole crew at Warren Diesel Shop, LLC a shout out for being so awesome. Had some issues with one of his transmissions and he 100% took care of it no questions asked. Brought the truck to him, picked it up and made the 500 mile trip home towing my other truck with zero issues. Truck shifts amazing now and I couldn't be happier with the transmission and customer service. If anyone is looking for a badass transmission with a great company backing it up, I wouldn't hesitate going with Warren. They've got my business from here on out!

I purchased a 5R110W Competition transmission from Warren Diesel Shop in December 2019. At the time they were highly recommended for my transmission. Everything went smoothly, they shipped my rebuilt transmission and I returned my old one to them on the same crate. While installing the transmission I found the crossmember bolt holes were about 1/2 full of dirt and debris. This wasn't a huge deal since everything else looked beautiful. I cleaned out the holes, chased the threads and installed the transmission. After install the transmission felt solid but never shifted quite like I thought it should. I'm not hard on it and don't put a lot of hard miles on this truck. Fast forward 5 years... A couple months ago while leaving a stop light the 1-2 shift flared revving the engine and before I could let out of it slammed the shift. Immediately the tow/haul light started flashing and my CTS3 picked up a P2701: Transmission Friction Element B Apply Time Range/Performance code. I limped the truck home and started digging into what this might be. Thinking I should get an "expert" opinion on the matter I contact Warren Diesel. I wasn't looking for sympathy or them to warranty anything, just wanted their input on what direction I should start looking. I got one response from Cordell asking, "Does it throw any other codes?" I responded, "No, that is the only code I am getting." That was September 19th @ 3:33pm and I never heard another word from them. Yesterday (11/01/2025) I had a chance to pull the pan off checking solenoids and valve body. Torque specs say 120 in-lbs and the bolts were well in excess of that. After removing the pan and filter I could immediately see the problem. These so called transmission experts didn't put the locking clips on two of my solenoids (SSPC-B & TCC). SSPC-B had slipped back about 1/8" in the valve body and turned 45 degrees. TCC hadn't fully slipped out yet but it was not seated tight in position. Ace Hardware had two 1/2" locking clips for $0.86. I installed the clips, cleaned everything up, put it back together, filled it with fluid and took the truck for a drive. It shifts better than it ever has thanks to locking clips now holding all seven of my solenoids in place. I will never deal with these people again. Their attention to detail and quality control is a joke. The fact they ghosted me makes me wonder if they know the quality of their workmanship is subpar. Thankfully I am mechanically inclined and it didn't cost me another transmission..., yet. I have no idea if something deep in the internals was overlooked and one day will come apart. I feel bad for people who have spent $100's if not $1000's taking their truck to a transmission shop for things just like this. Included with this review are pictures as follows: 1. The day I picked up my rebuilt 5R110W at Saia's dock. 2. My rebuilt 5R110W just before going in the truck. 3. The day it threw the P2701 code. 4. First look at underside of valve body. 5. SSPC-B solenoid closeup showing 1/8" slipped back and turned 45 degrees. 6. SSPC-B, TCC & EPC/PC-A solenoids with only one (EPC/PC-A) having a locking clip installed. 7. The $0.86 fix that could have cost me a transmission. And no, in case you are wondering. The clips did not come off landing in the pan, attaching to the magnet or getting sucked up into the filter. I tore the filter apart to see if they were in there. They were not. This review is simply to let everyone know what they are getting into if you purchase something rebuilt by Warren Diesel Shop. If I had it to do all over again I would have gone with SunCoast or ATS.

I had my 6R140 Stock Plus transmission installed and my upper oil pan gasket replaced at Warren Diesel Shop, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. Great shop for your Ford PowerStroke transmission! I trailered my truck there from Wisconsin for a new transmission. The day of I thought about it more and decided to upgrade to the Competition transmission instead of the Stock+. They were able to shift things around and get one ready for me. Not ideal I understand but I appreciate them for working with me to get it knocked out, all in 1 day. I drove it home and it's running and driving great!

The customer service and their willingness to make a less than ideal situation right is unmatched by any other company. Period. I had 800hp Performance 6r140 installed in my 19 F350. After two transmissions acting up things were weird, it definitely wasn't their transmissions. Something was causing them to fail, they narrowed it down to a faulty tcm due to internal corrosion. Replaced the tcm and the transmission harness too, just to be safe and it's shifting better than it ever had before! Each time they made it right and built me a new unit right away and installed it asap. The amount of abuse I've personally seen Andy's transmissions go through and never skip a beat is absolutely incredible. And the prices are very competitive if not slightly cheaper than some other companies. not to mention, FREE INSTALLATION!! Don't trust anyone for your Powerstroke transmissions! Thank you again to the entire team! Y'all are great!

If you need a transmission for your Ford 6.7, you’ve found it. Stop looking anywhere else. I am leery of “if it sounds too good to be true”, because it usually isn’t. That is not the case here. Warren Diesel Shop is the real deal. Upfront with their pricing, product and timeline. Our 2016 Ford F350’s transmission was seriously damaged after a puncture to the transmission pan and being run out of fluid. I drove the truck from FL to their shop, barely. They were very friendly and had a loaner car waiting to use for the day when I arrived at 8am. Returned at 3:30 that afternoon and it was ready to go. They even put up with my never ending questions and showed me the damaged internals of my old transmission. The new stock+ transmission is phenomenal. Truck runs and drives great again! I can’t say enough good things about WDS and the folks there. Highly recommend!

First off just wanted to say thank you ! Frm the very beginning of this Warren diesel shop has been excellent. I have a 2019 F 250 nd went w the stock + trans … I love everything about it . I was extremely impressed with the whole operation . I drove out from New Jersey and as promised was back on the road that afternoon! I would and have already recommended Warren diesel to family and friends ! Keep up the great wrk . Appreciate the help !!!

Great people to do business with. Had a stock+ 4r100 put in my truck along with tuning and couldn’t be happier with the end result. Between the great communication, one day install, loaner truck, and fantastic feeling transmission and tunes, it was well worth every bit of my 7 hour drive to their shop

Warren Diesel Shop is the place to go for a Ford trans. Drove 400 miles up dropped the truck off at 8am, they had a loaner for my wife and I to take for the day ready to go. About 3:30 the truck was done and everything I hoped for. This is the way these trucks should have rolled off the assembly line. Trans shifts great, temps down at 165 cruising back down the interstate. Awesome product and service.

Went to warren diesel shop from buffalo for a 5r110w for my 6.0 powerstroke and I couldn't be more impressed with the service I was giving got my transmission done in a day and running amazing also fixed the old harness I had and were willing to answer any questions I had overall 11 out of 10 I'd recommend

Very knowledgeable guys, the fact that they will take the time to talk to you and answer questions speaks volumes. Excellent workmanship as well. Would highly recommend warren to anyone in need of ford transmission work.

Just want to give a huge shout-out to Warren Diesel. About 6-7 months ago I put a competition trans from them in my truck. Trans was awsome! Over the last 2-3 months it has been acting a little funny. No questions asked they told me to bring them the truck and they would swap it out. Had a pump failure which they said they hadn't seen. But they got the trans and converter replaced, and both coolers flushed all in 1 day and I'm back on the road. Would 10/10 recommend they were awesome to deal with the entire time. Also their shop dog is very cute and all personnel was very kind

I recently had my 6.0 in for a competition 5r110 transmission from these fine people at Warren Diesel Transmission. I had a great experience as I got to hang out during the install process as we are not from the area and it was nice meeting everyone there including Andy Warren himself! Again thank you guys so much for making the ol nana boat run flawless again!

I traveled 5 hrs to have my transmission replaced and was not disappointed at all. Everyone treated me like family and had it done in one day even with other repairs done !

I pulled my truck from Asheville N.C all the way to these guys because I wanted them to work on my truck and I will definitely do it again if I decide to do more. After they installed my new trans Andy drove it around and noticed an issue that ended up being my flex plate non related to the new transmission and he paid for me to stay another night in town so they could take it out and they put in a new flex plate and did not charge me. I don’t know of any shops that care about there customers like these guys/girls do. I got the 5r110 stock+ put in my truck and it works flawlessly. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I will be sending a new flex plate back to them soon it’s the least I can do for all they did for me and my truck!

There's not many places I would trust to work on my vehicles, but John was a pleasure to have swap my transmission. Answered any questions I had and was very knowledgeable about these platforms. Took around 5 hours to have old one out and new one in with breaks. Drove about 300 miles when they were done and transmission shifts great. If I had another one that needed replaced I would drive 5 hours there to have them install it, no question. Thanks again John and Warren team!

Shop was 600+ miles from my house turn over time and service was great!!! Went above and beyond shop found some other problems with my truck fixed them at no extra expense to me. 100% recommend!!!! Transmission is exactly what I expected after talking to Andy.

I'm sure they make an excellent transmission, however after waiting for over two months and being told five times "it'll ship next week." Only for that week to come and go. When I called to ask why it didn't ship when they said it would, the only response I got was they got busy. No apology, no remorse for lying to me five time about when it would go out. The last time I called she told me again the same thing, I had enough. I don't have faith or believe anything she says. I had to ask for a refund. They seemed almost happy to give me a refund like they didn't want my business. Now I'm sitting here months later with a broken truck, and they got to borrow my $6000 for a few months.

These guys will do you right! They rebuilt a 5r110 under warranty for me; did a jam up job and were a pleasure to do business with. Recommend to anyone looking for quality parts and service!

Bought a kit from Andy and was having someone else put together closer to home but turns out that guy didn’t know much. Andy stepped in and told me to get it to him and he would build same day to save another trip. This is definitely a first class operation! I will definitely spread the word around my area
