Unprofessional and unreliable towing yard.
They took advantage of the situation instead of helping. Communication was poor, and information kept changing after the vehicle was already in their control. Work was done without proper explanation, and decisions were made without approval.

The vehicle was handled carelessly, causing unnecessary delays and added problems that were not present before. There was no sense of responsibility or accountability, just excuses after the fact.

This place seems more focused on charging extra than providing honest service. I would not trust them with a breakdown or emergency situation. Use extreme caution before dealing with this yard.

Very disappointing experience.
We were given one price initially for towing and jump-start assistance, but after the work was done, the total suddenly increased without clear explanation or approval.

The shop replaced parts and added treatments, yet the truck still did not run properly. We later towed the vehicle to another, more professional shop, where they quickly found that the water separator had been installed incorrectly. Once it was reinstalled properly, the truck started and ran normally.

This shows poor workmanship and lack of proper diagnosis. On top of that, the batteries were drained during the process.

Overall, this shop caused unnecessary expenses, delays, and stress. I would strongly recommend others be careful and double-check any work done here.

Be prepared to be extorted if you use this company. After removing my car from the snow (5 feet), they demanded an outrageous amount of cash. When I told them I didn’t have cash and that my insurance would cover the service, they refused and began threatening me.

The most disturbing part is that I believed they were the towing company sent by my insurance provider—they never disclosed that they were not. This was extremely misleading.

Lesson learned: stay far away from this company. It feels like an extortion racket, not a legitimate service.

My son ended up in a watery ditch, it may have even been a small creek. The person who came to help was professional and kind. After the car was pulled out they stayed awhile longer to make sure the car was operational. They even refused a pìlon.

Blocked entire alley for no reason disrupting traffic because too lazy to park on the side. If they are that lazy when driving they will be the same helping you. Avoid at all cost.

I was 2 hours away from Home with a Flat Tire that could not be fixed and no spare and needed to get the car towed to the nearest Tire Place before 5pm so that I would not be stranded. They came fast and took my car to the location I requested. Thank you for saving the day! As far as pricing not sure cause I used a Emergency Service

Thought they towed car. Not my possessions. The price gauging is ridiculous. Something needs to be done. Greed is out of control. Need to start legal proceedings.

Great heavy duty towing service. Fast and reliable. Driver was extremely knowledgeable on what he was doing.

This place is corrupt and they break the law. It's illegal in PA to charge a storage fee and they do. They also add miles to charge more. They also added a $200 fee for towing off private property when it wasn't. I am going to take them to court. Stay away from these criminals. They are also required to post their fees and they don't.

If I could leave negative stars I would. This place would be my last choice to ever call for towing. Not only did they cause damage to my car when towing it the man who came was so rude and was an absolute jerk to work with for lack of a better word. I had just been in a car accident and he came without my knowledge and would not answer any question I had and just kept giving his attitude. If you don't want to help people find a new job point blank. You don’t deserve to have the role you have if you treat people the way you do.

This place charged in excess of $36,000 for towing a truck and car trailer with 3 cars that hit the highway fence. If you want to pay $300 for 1 pair of disposable gloves , or want to pay for the fee for 12 trucks and 7 drivers then call this place because they will over charge you and leave you feeling screwed and put away wet .
It must be a slow winter in PA

Used AAA road service and they came through after I was stranded for 2.5 hours. Driver called me prior to pick up to inform me of his arrival. Took care of my car and held a good conversation on our way to my destination. Thanks for the help Rob.

Super unprofessional would never recommend. After my boyfriend and I got into a horrible accident, they were trying to make us pay a fee to get our items out of our car after the cops told us it was OK. They were racist and begin arguing with us saying that we could not get our things and it was private property. They wanted to make us pay a fee to get our items and the man continue to yell at my boyfriend while I asked him to please stop yelling and then he yelled at me a woman. I would recommend not going to any of the Schleier’s locations especially not in Tannersville

We had crash on i80 police ordered this company to take my car from hwy to his parkint
They gove me bills for 5miles on 3850$ and And they forbade me to take my things from the car.
these people prey on the harm of others.. NOT RECOMMENDED ,
ALSO MY LOYER WILL GO TO COURT WITH THIS!, Scammers!!!!!!!! BE CARFUL AND DONT USE THIS COMPANIES EVER NEVER!!!!!! For this service 0 star ! Becouse one star is to much for this company

The staff and driver are very rude. I was told that the driver would put my vehicle on a flatbed and bring it to the road and he refuse to stating that the tow truck might get stuck, exceptionally rude and unhelpful. Not to mention he didn’t seem to care about the vehicle at all, whether or not it got damaged. Still charged an unreasonable price and wasn’t very pleasant. Do not recommend them at all!!!

Damn great place to get me back on the road. I hit a deer and broke a part off of my air dryer and they showed up and had me back on the road in like 1.5 hours. (Give or take a few)

I'm a little late in posting this. But back in october I was in the poconos for a long weekend get away When my car wouldn't start at the resort. I called roadside assistance and they sent a young man from Schliers Towing. He was there in less than a half an hour... He was so nice and helpful. He checked the battery and jumped it. And recommended that I go down and get The battery checked as well as the starter. It did turn out I needed a new battery and it was an easy fix. But his promptness meant that I didn't waste a whole day of my mini vacation. He made the whole situation less aggravating. I wish I would have got his name so I could thank him personally.

Got on Route 80 suddenly had low tire pressure. Pulled into their parking lot for commercial vehicles. We are in an SUV. Young gentleman comes out, finds the leak fixes our tire in less than 10 minutes. Thank you for your caring employee!

Highly recommend, very responsive to our towing needs. Schlier's has a very professional staff kept us updated throughout the process. This was an 11pm tow and they definitely performed to an A+ status. Great job Schlier's towing keep up the great work.

I have never in my life had a better experience with a company than we did with these guys tonight! We broke down 3 1/2 hours from home pulling our toy hauler with our four kids in the car. And they promised us they would get us back on the road and home tonight and they delivered we just pulled in our drive way safe and sound thanks to there amazing crew! Not that I ever hope to break down in that way again but god forbid I did I know who to call!

Great service and good prices !! I hope we won't need to get towed anytime soon, but if 1 of our trucks brakes down, we will call this guys.

I stopped in because my car was making a strange noise. Joey took a look at it and diagnosed the problem correctly as something seized near the alternator. He said it was probably fine to drive 15mins to a shop that specialized in cars. I take it to the shop and tell them exactly what he told me, and they did nothing about it, just to have my car smoking on the side of the road 100miles later. Schilier's was extraordinarily helpful, generous, and knowledgeable in helping me get on my way, just to have Mavis in mount pocono drop the ball.

Although we weren’t able to use them, Mike was SUPER responsive and his sense of urgency was unlike anyone else’s that I spoke to trying to get a tow across state lines. I felt bad we weren’t able to move forward with him, and wished they were the first people I had reached out to. Great customer service, and communication.

Very difficult to get the correct number for the location your car has been brought to. Had to call about 5 different numbers since the original number the driver gave me on location was not the location her brought our car. Not impressed with these people. However they did arrive to tow away quickly and we eventually found our car at one of their locations. Very stressful situation made worse by the multiple calls.

Unexpected young guy, T does almost everything as far as working on my semi truck..from towing semi’s and fixing it. Manager was very helpful and cool. Price was great for the work they both did! Got them locked as a favorite, hours there my be iffy. But service is right on!! Thanks guys it handles like a new truck
