What clients say about Harry's U-Pull It in West Hazleton (PA)

Harry's is great because the cars are laid out in clearly marked rows, the car inventory can be found online so you can scout your area in advance, and the staff are helpful. Really, it's hard for Harry's to make this experience any better.
So you know: No backpacks, no blow torches. Bring your own hand tools. They can give you a bucket for tools. You get your deposit back when you return the bucket. Deposit is $5. Entrance fee is $2. Ask them a question? They answer. Pretty simple.Feb 08, 2026 -
Looks like your hazleton yard could use some customer service training over the phone.
Bad enough that the inventory isn't updated any more but answering simple questions as to weather there are specific vehicles should not feel like you have just insulted some one's life choices .
It cost nothing to decent to people whom you're business rely on. Food for thought .Jan 16, 2026 -
The price is going crazy everything high to much money is better but it new cuz they charge to much for a use piece is not new

Usually my boyfriend and I never have a problem with Harry’s U Pull It but this time, we drove TWO hours, took ONE HOUR to pull solenoids out of a vehicle, brought it to the counter for us to be told we can not purchase the solenoids, it has to be the WHOLE valve body WHILE on the parts list it ONLY list SOLENOID $13.00. There was nothing else listed along side saying “Prior to pulling talk to sales rep, etc” or “External Solenoid.” Online it specifically says, “ Yes, you can take a solenoid from a valve body at Harry's U-Pull It, provided you bring the necessary tools to extract the part yourself.” Then Tony says they can only part out “EXTERNAL” solenoids. But the internet says, “Yes, you can take internal solenoids from vehicles at Harry's U-Pull It. Harry's is a self-service salvage yard where customers bring their own tools to remove the parts they need.”
I thought it was you have the tools to pull it, you pay for it. And because of this, we had another part for a different vehicle and because “Tony’s rules” were not indicated ANYWHERE in Harry’s U Pull it in Hazleton Township, we were not able to purchase a part for a different vehicle all because of rules Tony was enforcing that is nowhere listed on the building or on the internet.
Below is pictures and proof. This is crazy and insane!!!! Never again!!! To add, Tony was very rude and extremely unprofessional.Dec 28, 2025 -
It was a learning experience the part i got worked was a little pricey i think but it fixed the problems i had they are well organized to where the car if you know the sections they could be a little more helpful but i would go again if something else comes up

Went to get a tire and rim for my vehicle in single digit weather got pretty much pushed out of the yard. Asked if I could run out to my vehicle to check the rim I found to make sure it fit and was told NO... So I purchased the tire and rim and it doesn't fit. I know the policy is no returns or exchange but I called anyway. Drove over 45 minutes to get there.. Took months to save the money cause I'm out of work due to a stroke. Barely making ends meet. Was hopeful that I could at least exchange what I purchased for one that would fit my vehicle. Need the rim and tire for the inspection. The manager was more than happy to tell me NO. A little bit to happy if you ask me. Customer service skills are horrible and no empathy or sympathy. Most places make exceptions every once in a while but not here. So I'm out $104 and can't get my vehicle inspected can't afford to fix my other vehicle and don't know when I'll have the money for the rim I need. Been Going there for decades and so do my family and friends. None of us will be back. I think they should consider updating their policy for some items. If anyone can help me and allow me to make the exchange please let me know.

Never come to this place. None of the lot is organized at all. Every part is almost expensive as buying it new. Customer service is impolite. People at the counter barely speak English 46$ for a headlight without the mounting bracket. Complete scam

If I could give Harry's you pull it.No star I would because their prices are too high. They wanted to charge me a $116 for tail lights.I could buy them new for that price i don't see how they ain't shut down yet

Great place to get car, truck and other vehicle parts at a much more affordable price if you are doing the work yourself. Not to many places like this around anymore its a real gem.

The worst experience I've ever shopped there, but this weekend I was there. They treated me badly. They wanted to charge me for something I already had with me. That's not the way it is. It's better to check at the entrance and know how to treat people.

It's huge and prices seem reasonable.
But it's disorganized. Other yards have some order: Cars/Trucks & SUVs, Foreign/Domestic, Ford/GM/Honda/etc. Harry's is a total free-for-all. Expect to walk the entire lot trying to find parts - the fact that it's huge makes this even worse.Oct 05, 2025 -
Bring your own tools. It's a junkyard not a park. Obviously its dirty. No back packs. No grinders. No power saws. They don't want us to burn the place up. Everything is used. So no warranty. Prices are fair. Employees treat us the way we treat them. Never had an issue. I don't lend tools. I don't leave my stuff behind. Always carrying my tools. Again its a junkyard.

I was there to look for parts for my 2018 chevy traverse, which was listed as being there but it turned out it was a different year model label as such. I tried to explain to the team on ground but they respectfully insisted it was it. I checked the VIN and its not it, VIN check for their car comes up with nothing. 1GNKVJE5CJ223474
I will still go there for parts, they have a pretty good setup but i was dissapointed this time round, somebidy needs to check the inventorying and specifically with this car, as it is still listed.Sep 13, 2025 -
Only positive lots of cars to pull from parts. But there better place to go that aren't making get the parts harder. No backpacks /no sawzall. Charge ya to use a cart and there prices are kind high for not being able to return parts. I won't be back.

Harry's was once the place to find good deals on wanted/needed parts, unfortunately this is no longer the case. Used/junk part prices are significantly higher than they were just last year, which i learned the hard way since part
was at the counter...
I was forced to pay over 3x the price paid for the same part last year - local full service yards with guaranteed parts are actually cheaper than Harrys for me...
If you decide to go here, be sure to double-check the parts price with a price list you get on the date of your visit.Aug 23, 2025 -
Absolutely greedy business. They clearly have in their price list “module” for $16 + $2 core. I pulled an ABS module and when I got to the window they said they charge the whole ABS motor/pump even if it’s just the module. They were charging around $80. I also pulled a fuse box and with their stupid “you must pay everything you pull” policy I couldn’t buy just the fuse box. I left their garbage at the window. They’re also one of the only places I’ve seen not have any type of warranty. So imagine paying $80 for something that may not even work. Kevin, “the manager” said they don’t sell parts of something which makes absolutely no sense. It’s like getting charged for an entire transmission when you pull the valve body or an entire engine because you need a pulley. That’s moronic thinking. They also charge cart rentals and water. On top of that they charge a whole bunch of environmental fees so the price listed is not the final price. Kevin and the staff are rude. They are absolutely greedy. I’ll take my money elsewhere.

They close there lot at 330 but closes at 4 pm . The women that works there was very nasty to my husband when he went to ask her a question. I needed 2 tires and there price was over 100 . Don’t go there if you could avoid there.

This “salvage” yard charges as much as you can pay online from eBay with a guarantee. If you decide not to buy at their prices, you are kicked out until the next day. We offered to take the parts back and they refused and made us leave. Absolutely horrible customer service and charging 10 times what the part is worth

Bring cash you need $2.00 CASH to get in, then to rent a cart is $2.00 with a $20.00 deposit. Whatever you bring to the front they WILL make you pay for. Beware you will pay 6% sales tax and then a 6% "ENVIROMENT CHARGE" and then a " ENVIROMENT TAX". It's crazy to me I'm buying from here as to help not buy new and take items out of the landfill but get charged for it, make it make sense! Overall great place pretty clean considering, will I go back, yes its cheaper then buying from a car dealer. If you are looking for a particular car be prepared to walk A LOT! Bring tools, water, wear sunscreen and go in with no expectations. If an item your looking for looks like its already been removed check the inside of the car, people take stuff off and then dont take it. Security guard will check everything before you leave and after you have checked out so just pay for it all. They will come around about 15ish mins before they close and announce they are closing and basically wrangle you out like cattle, but to be fair people can be ignorant and the staff wants to go home like you want to go home from work. Overall pretty neat place to explore, its like a big scavenger hunt!

Harry’s U Pull It used to be a reliable junkyard with affordable prices, but it’s gone downhill fast. It’s now one of the worst deals you can find. I spent over $800 on a bumper, fender, headlights, radiator, and condenser for a 2005 Dodge Caravan. Five years ago, the same parts would’ve cost me $250–$300 at most. The truck isn’t even worth what I paid for those parts! You’re better off ordering from eBay, checking a dealership, or finding a cheaper junkyard. Save your money and stay away from Harry’s.

Quick, easy, good money for a piece of junk that looked good. In-N-Out in 10 to 15 minutes.

I have never been in a place as bad as this one in my life. I recognize that it has everything you are going to look for but Today I went looking for a wheel for my car and when I found it everything was fine but it is not safe to be there it is dangerous if you neglect your tools for 3 seconds they are gone and when you go to make the claim to customer service they do nothing there is also a watchman who is just decoration of the place I tried to tell him what happened and he turned his back he ignored me
That means they could have killed me too and they wouldn't have done anything $400 worth of tools and he disappeared
They didn't even bother to help with the search for the thief as if nothing happened. I do not recommend that place to anyone. If you go it will be at your own risk
NOTE: IF YOU WANT BE SAFE
If you value your peace and quiet, don't go near that place, a cave with no security or guarantee of well-being. That's my humble opinion. The rest is up to you. For my part, I will never return to that crappy establishment. I curse the hour that occurred to me to go there.Aug 31, 2024 -
This place is really useful you can find all brand car and year. I was looking for something for my car and I found it.

Decent prices they take card it's not in the middle of nowhere and and they have an inventory online. Sometimes some interesting vehicle show up in the front 350z,Focus ST,300zx, 80s cars ect and if you have a common vehicle that's 10 years old there's probably at least a few to pull parts from

They pay the most out of all junkyards and can pickup your car if needed to, they have a map and can ask what car you’re looking for and will tell how many of it there is. It’s my go to when o need car parts or junk cars.

Smooth transaction, gave me a good price for my car on the phone. I towed it in they gave me a check. Special thanks to Kevin for stepping up and being honest! Great people..

Cheap prices for what I got. But it’s a popular yard so everything was picked over. They gave me a ticket of where my cars were which was EXTREMELY helpful. Nice employees too. Would go again!

I love going there. Hopefully, one day, I'll work there, so I can spend my free time just walking around the yard. I frequent all three locations and I don't live anywhere near there.
