Great place to spend a week, or even just a weekend. Sun, shade, clean pool. Friendly employees an lots of friendly campers. Wish I could live there.

Read the other 1 star reviews. We were seasonals and very proper campers. Dogs run free. Dilapidated everywhere. Overhead wires not on poles as required by law. Unhygienic fish fries. Amplified Golden Oldies blaring all through camp on weekends. Nightmare! Janet is beyond ugly to all. She seems to hate us all and has a very rotten personality.

Some of the roads in and out are not my favorite. However, this place is a gem. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great place to park a rv and enjoy your stay. Walking spaces and many different activities can keep you busy. Laundry and public bathroom spaces are clean and well maintained.

This is a campground where I attended a craft event which was very well run and a great event. However, I contacted them to get information about seasonal campsites and never received an answer. I read other bad reviews that stated the same problem so I will be looking elsewhere. Why deal with the nasty folks everyone else is talking about in their reviews.

Great campground, clean facilities, nice pool, many fun activities etc. Plenty of shade trees and well designed layout so everything feels nearby. Camping areas have plenty of space to sit outside.

We needed a last minute site as we had been traveling all day and arrived after the camp store was closed. A phone number provided on the door got us in contact with the groundskeeper who had a site for the night for us! Extremely nice staff! The campground was beautiful and so neat and well kept.

Had a great time camping with my family at Moyers campground. We went swimming, played basketball, and they had a bubble machine that my kids enjoyed. Only complaint is that you are not allowed to have golf carts inside the campground. We will be back for sure!

The mother is very rude. The owners have the group of camper and if you don't fit in then you not welcome. You feel so out of place when you're there for the frist time. If someone has a disability then you should not go there. They kick out a permanent site cuz the one person had a disability.

We took a trip in October and my family and I had a great time. My son and I had so much room to throw the football around since it was late in October it wasn’t very busy at all. They had a haunted house for the kids which they really loved it. Will be back in the summer time to enjoy the pool!

No complaints about campground. Problem we encountered was when trying to check in. Husband went to office while a woman sat outside at picnic table talking on phone, after 10 minutes she got off phone and went inside. Lo and behold that was our check in person. Did not feel this was very appropriate way to welcome paying campers.

If I could give less than one star I absolutely would! The events held at this campground are the only positive of the campground in general. We stayed here several times last camping season and always felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome by the staff and some of the seasonal campers as well. Everyone was always so miserable. The playground is SO run down I wouldn’t even let my kids go near it. We did decide to give the campground a try and booked a seasonal site. Less than a week before the season was to start we went to clean our site to find another camper was still in that spot. We tried numerous times to contact the campground by phone and e-mail with no response. My husband tried to speak with the owners and only got a very nasty response. We then were told we no longer were able to have our seasonal spot. The owners are very very unprofessional and extremely rude. If it weren’t for their events each year the campground would never make it. I love that they do a lot for the children’s miracle network but it would be even better if the owners actually acted like they liked kids and treated them with respect. I was very disappointed every time we visited with how rude the owner was to our children. Don’t own a campground if you don’t want to be bothered by kids or you don’t have the courtesy to treat people with respect. I wouldn’t recommend this campground to anyone. If you want to take part in the events, do so as a visitor. Campers beware!

Our family came down to Moyers Grove to have some relaxing family time. There was a ton to do at this PA campground. The kids played a couple of rounds of mini golf and we had a blast fishing in the two ponds. Lots of bass and trout. It was pretty hot, but the pool was nice to cool off in. The best was the DJ at night and there was even a food pavillion with a pretty good fish fry on Friday and other food over the weekend. I am hoping to get a site in October for a Halloween weekend. They look like fun!

This was our second trip to Moyers Grove, and once again, we all left feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and happy! ||||Let’s start with the staff…they’re real! No “fake customer service smiles.” They enjoy what they do, they want to be there (not just a job), and they welcome you with open arms. We were made to feel like part of their camp family! ||||The Friday Night Fish Fry….AWESOME! First of all, who wants to cook after driving and setting up a camper? Secondly, it’s DELICIOUS! If you’re not a fan of seafood, they also have chicken! Our extremely fussy eating son was even happy! The best part…this is entirely run by hard-working volunteers, and all proceeds go to the Make-A-Wish foundation!||||Whether you’re extremely active or just want to relax by the fire, this place meets the needs of all. There is always something to do! Our electronic-loving kids were on the go from dusk until dawn all weekend, without even looking at their electronics. They immediately made friends with other kid campers, and spent their time swimming, playing basketball, playing mini-golf or “creek stomping.” Also, there are different planned activities every weekend, and most of them benefit charities (ie. Make-A-Wish, no kill animal shelters, etc.). You leave as a better person, whether you want to or not because, chances are, you took part in an activity that benefited a charity. ||||Anyway, we love this place, and we will definitely be back! Five stars to Moyers Grove from the Claus family!

Never go camping at Moyers Grove Campground (Official). Ownership is a joke. Reserved 5 sites in March for the family that were all together and get there for our First camping trip in May and they rented one site out to someone else. Told me I had to go to another site then what I reserved Because they wouldn’t move the person that was on one of our reserved spots. Owners offered no apology and never even notified us ahead of time. Also they never even came around to see if we were satisfied.

This place is absolutely beautiful! So much to do and the staff is really friendly. The bathrooms are beautiful and very clean! They have things to do every weekend and proceeds benefit make a wish! We plan on making this our home away from home!

To put this into context, my husband is a Marine and I’m a Doctor. We don’t scare easily and we both felt that our safety was compromised at this campground. The owner is so rude and highly insensitive. They changed our sites last minute and then asked us to move our camper the next day in order to allow permanent people to get to their campsite (not an easy task to move a 36 foot camper). When we asked the people if they could go around the camper the owner got involved. She said things like “Go get Todd, he’ll get them out of here” and “we will call the State Police”. We gladly left after these comments as we felt unsafe due to the biases the owners clearly have against anyone that is not a seasonal. Also, they drive around a golf cart with a confederate flag. So sad because this campground has the potential to be really nice. I do not recommend this campground for anyone, especially if you have kids. I even tried to get the owner to calm down and set a better example for the children, she was inappropriately angry and rude. So very disappointed that this was advertised as a family campground. Worst experience we’ve ever had camping.

I'm there almost every weekend, the area is really nice, everyone that runs the campground are great people that do a great job taking care of the land. It is a really clean and safe environment that people of all ages can enjoy. They have many things to do there too, for example, they have a pool, mini golf course, a playground, places to fish and so on. I can't stress enough how great this place is. I really recommend coming here if your looking for a great time camping. - Robbie Huffman

Unfortunately I cannot leave zero stars! I've been camping here with my family for almost 6 years. The past 2 years have been getting progressively worse. Last July 4th in 2020 we had an actual fire on our electric pole! I have a video of the event. We were not even offered a simple apology or moved to another site. Sadly, this wasn't the first time and will most certainly not be the last. They overload their power source especially during holidays! My family members camper almost caught on fire at 2am with their child inside! Guess what they were told?? "Don't come back!" No apology whatsoever. My 8 year old son and I were verbally accosted when we went swimming. Not camping, we actually paid to swim. I was told I was noisy last time I was there and the owners were receiving complaints at 4am! This is completely asinine. We were in bed sleeping around midnight! This information was not offered to me until we were leaving the pool. We were screamed at so loudly that the whole campground could here the owner. Now, regardless of any complaint, when is it acceptable or even professional to speak to ANYONE in this manner! There are a list of complaints I can continue to write about however, I believe everyone has the idea after reading this far.

This place is off the beaten path and worth every mile! The staff are extremely friendly and totally on the level, and the grounds are set in some stunning surroundings! I don't snub my nose at some of the larger operations, but would much rather support a family owned and operated outfit any day of the week. Do yourself a favor if you are looking for a beautiful place to set down for a night or a week, and give this place a try. You won't be sorry!

We spent memorial day weekend in site 12. The onwer and staff we friendly and helpful. They site we were in was very nice, on the creek and very level. The owner raises money for the Make a wish foundation, we donated in the duck race they had, it was fun to watch. The only issue we had was power at our site, the voltage would drop and our watchdog monitor would shut down. Since it was not hot over the weekend, it was not a huge issue. The real question is would we go back again, Yes. We really don't understand the negative reviews, it was a nice time.

My boyfriend and I went camping here last weekend and it was awesome! Very quiet campground with friendly owners! We stayed at campsite #84 in the tent section. Water and electric was included! There is a creek that runs right next to the campsite that was relaxing to listen to while sleeping. When it came time to use the restroom, I prepared myself for a typical campground dirty/buggy bathroom. To my surprise the bathrooms were gorgeous!!! Very clean, everything was restocked, and the showers were spotless! By far the nicest bathrooms I have ever seen at a campground! Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Moyer’s Grove and would come back again!!!

Have been going to this campground with my family for the past several years and have always enjoyed ourselves. Called to make reservations this year and the woman (the owner) was rude, disrespectful and not at all friendly. After booking 3 sites, we called back to find out how much to send (they wouldn't accept a credit card) and to book a 4th site. Felt like we were talking to an alien! She went on about having been ripped off (not by us!) and how it was an event weekend and she needed full payment (cash or check). Tried to get her to tell us how much and all she did was argue?????||Hung up on my daughter and told her she was canceling our reservations!!!

We visited Moyers Grove for one of their annual Halloween weekends. Overall it was a good experience and we would certainly plan on a return visit. I have read several negative reviews concerning the “rudeness” of one of the owners, however I did not have any interaction in order to give an opinion on that. The staff that I did interact with were nice and helpful. No campground is going to be absolutely perfect and everyone has different expectations. The sites are not overly spacious, but pretty much average from what I have experienced. It was an easy in and easy out process with no issues. One thing I really like is they have a 3pm checkout time! Many places it is much earlier and that can be inconvenient. The restroom/shower facilities were very nice and the camp store offers a good selection of items in addition to soft serve ice cream. I do not believe there is an abundance of fish in the catch and release pond, but it is a nice pond nonetheless. If you like an active campground with activities I would recommend Moyers Grove.

We stayed at Moyer’s Grove Campground this weekend. It was not great. The owner was terribly rude. She yelled at us for something we didn’t even do and when I tried to explain our side she continued to just cut me off and threaten to kick us out (within hours of checking in) She didn’t want to hear anything I had to say. The camping spots were all on top of each other. There was no spacing at all. They played loud music until after 10pm and don’t enforce quite time until after midnight. We will not be camping there again.

We had a great time with the family! Lots for the kids to do. Played some cornhole for a cause and just really enjoyed ourselves. Bathrooms are centrally located so with 4 girls that's important. Walked around and didn't see a bad site to stay.

We loved it there. Quiet, clean , 2 ponds for fishing. The bathrooms were impeccable. We rented an rv for the weekend. Little bit of a musty smell when we first arrived but it was early in the camping season. That being said it may have sat all winter.. nonetheless it did not effect our stay. Windows open and all was well. We really enjoyed our stay and the staff was phenomenal. I will definitely recommend this campground and can't wait for my return visit.

We have been going to this campground for 15+ yrs. always had a good time and have made a lot of great memories. Recently however we were treated very rudely by the owner Janet and unfortunately do not feel like it will be a place we will return to. It saddens us and all the families we have always brought with us.

We had been on the road for 11 hours and desperately needed to stop and sleep, even though we were only 2 hours away from home. Most of the campgrounds in the area are closed until April, but we thought we would call and give it a shot. Thank goodness she answered the phone! She said absolutely we could come and even turned water on in a site for us. She was very sweet very polite and very accommodating. When we arrived she escorted us to our site even though it was after dark and helped us get set up. I wish I could remember her name, but I'm assuming she was the owner. She was very sweet and took very good care of us. We had called late at night and she still stayed up and met us to get us to our site. When we got up in the morning and it was light outside, we could see all of the surroundings. It was a very nice setup. There are playgrounds for the children, a stream, a pond, and even a little beach. I highly recommend this Campground.

The campground is average, nothing spectacular. It was well kept except the pool was dirty. I cannot give it more than one star due to the woman who owns the campground and works in the office. Every one of our encounters with her was met with rudeness and anger. We do not spend our money at establishments that treat their customers like they don’t want their business . We will not be back.

This place is very nice to camp at and very friendly and very dog friendly. Been going here every labor day for years and enjoy the music and other activities that they have at night. They have a fish fry every weekend as well as funnel cakes. The sites are big and most have sewer hook up. The only problem I ever have is the bathrooms are not made for tall/bigger people. They could easily fix it by making it two toilets and giving more room in the stalls since the are only like 2 and a half feet apart from each other.
