I had a very disappointing experience with A1 Towing.
I arrived to pick up my vehicle at approximately 5:15 PM and was charged an after-hours fee. However, their voicemail states business hours are 7 AM – 8 PM, and their website advertises 24-hour service. This felt inconsistent and unfair.
The additional charge was not clearly explained in advance, and when I asked about it, the response was dismissive rather than helpful. Transparency and customer service were lacking.
I understand companies have policies, but they should be clearly communicated and applied consistently. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this business.
Had an emergency and could not drive my truck to the dealership. A-1 had it there within the hour! And I was able to pay via the email they sent. Great service, super efficient! Would highly recommend them to all!
Waited a little bit for the tow to arrive but loading/dropoff was super quick. Cost was less than $100 when other places quoted $240, so this was definitely the best choice. Driver was super nice and gave me a ride to the dropoff location (mechanic near my house).
Not sure why people are leaving poor reviews tbh, the lady on the phone was a little rude and short, but other than that it was a quick and easy transaction.
Michelle the dispatcher made the entire process very easy. I live out of state and could not be there for the tow of my vehicle. Zack the driver was as amazing as Michelle. They both are kind, polite and very professional. They are both a great asset ! Thank you Zack and Michelle.
It was great I needed a car gone so I called that morning nd that afternoon they were here. The employees there were very nice polite make you feel welcome answered all my questions and my concerns.
Just another rip-off towing place. They weren’t there when they said they’d be and charged exorbitant rates for a car we couldn’t pick up because they have a second lot where they stash cars away. DO NOT PATRONIZE. There’s a possible woman there who answered the phone and got everything wrong. Everything. I would hate to meet her after sunset cause I’m almost certain she’s a doppelgänger for Voldemort. Anyway, anyone else but them. Call anyone else but them.
Answered my phone call promptly and professionally. Gave me an immediate accurate quote, Which was reasonable.
Easy scheduling, Exceeded timely arrival. Driver was personable and drove out of his way to come pick up our vehicle to drive it to our preferred mechanic. Would highly recommend and plan on using again if/ when needed! Thank you for making the situation safer By having our vehicle towed to a mechanic with a process, that was simple and efficient.
Called them up to get rid of my car with in 24 hours I had someone knocking on my door with cash in hand and the person was super nice . Took his time to explain everything to me.
The customer service rep and person who picked up our vehicle were outstanding and delivered as promised efficiently and friendly ? highly recommend - don't waste your time on all these other companies who shuffle you around with their offers !!!
Great service , Jr , the operator arrived at the designated time and got right to work. Hooked up my vehicle and in under 5 mins we were on our way to my mechanic's shop. Jr and I spoke about various topics and was friendly and professional , just wish there would be more people like him.
Driver Mike was very professional and got my van out of a difficult spot with ease. Dave and his staff made sure to provide updates as to when to expect the tow truck. I was pleased with the service and would highly recommend A1 towing to everybody. Thank you so much!
Communication is key. My car pick up was for Friday morning at 10:00. I waited until 12:30 before I called back to dispatch. They informed me that they were busy with emergency calls. Fast forward to Monday. I called A1 at 0800 and got my car picked up later that morning. Here dispatch had my phone number wrong by one number. It all worked out.
Great service, they have traveled long distances to tow vehicles for me from Maryland and from Rhode Island, to Allentown, Pennsylvania, n All ever an issue always on time and a reasonable price for the work done. Highly recommend
I haven't had the need to use a towing service recently but did yesterday on a Sunday. When I called I think I had three options and I picked the third option because I own a parking lot and had everybody off the lot getting ready for the big snow. Somebody parked their car who never was there before and it would've been a big problem. I called the Towing company and they actually were there in the car was gone within an hour !!
Honestly the gentleman who towed our vehicle was dope and friendly! Told him what was happening and he said I gotcha and towed it quick and easy! Also communication with him was awesome!! Thank you guys for the service definitely recommend!
A-1 helped me on a moment's notice with a broken down classic car. They were not only helpful, but were extremely courteous and professional. In addition, they were knowledgeable and very respectful of my vehicle, and took great care so as to not cause any damage whatsoever. I am very gtateful, and would highly recommend A-1 Towing!
