Just wanted to compliment the technician who serviced my stove yesterday. He arrived ahead of time and even picked up a package for me that was on my porch. I had to leave but my son was here and when I arrived back home he had finished. The remote was placed on my shelf and the stove was on. It was working so well, the flame was perfect and the blower as well. He was very efficient and thorough. I am feeling very safe with it now. Thanks so much for your service. Kathleen Mondok

Just had a new upgraded gas fireplace put in my new house. Josh the salesman was a little shaky the first time we met him. In his defense he said he was getting over a bad cold. We shopped around and Kring’s and Josh gave us the best preliminary price. Scott the estimator came out to the house…. He covered everything, many things we didn’t think of. Still best price. The best was yet to come. Installers Mike and Derrick were awesome. Friendly, polite, helpful guys. They covered everything with dust protectors, they cleaned up constantly, even the sawdust out on the driveway was swept up dailly. Those two guys were the best workmen we ever had in our house over 50 years of homeowner repairs. Thank you Mike and Derrick. You guys deserve a raise! Rod Holt

I am so thrilled that we chose to work with the team at Kring's Hearth & Home to help us replace our propane fireplace. We visited 8 fireplace stores before finding Kring's, we obvious saved the best for last. They were very helpful with the sales process, helping us make the right decisions for us. One thing very important to us is that they have their own team of factory trained installers - not random outside contractors. Because we were doing some of the removal and prep work ourselves, their team came to trip check our measurements and work. We have been thrilled using our new fireplace since installation. I'm not including a pic simply because we have not finished the stone work that we've elected to do ourselves. I simply cannot say enough good things about the team at Kring's.

I have nothing but praise for Kring's Hearth and Home! From my first enterering the showroom, where I was immediately welcomed by Ed - who explained the entire workings of the free-standing gas unit, its installation, service, warranties, etc - I was completely impressed. Not once was I told I "could google it" if I asked a question (and I asked him plenty!). Ed's patience was truly appreciated and his knowledge was quite apparent. He was very friendly and easy to talk with and I never felt spoken-down to. The installers were also amazing - covering the living room floor carefully, placing the unit perfectly, drilling through the brick outside my house, spending time carefully installing the unit and not leaving my house after installation until everything I needed to know regarding the workings of the unit was explained in detail to me. I have never had such an positive experience like this when purchasing any item for my home. I give Krings 5+ stars all-around including for each and every employee I spoke with. And on these freezing cold and windy days we've had since its installation, my home has never been so warm and cozy. It was definitely without a doubt a wonderful and very worthwhile investment!

Amazing customer service! I was having trouble starting my HEAT&GLO gas fireplace, the flame wasn’t starting when I hit the ON symbol from the remote control starter, and I was receiving a message stating that the fireplace was safely disabled and contact service department. I called Kring’s Schnecksville and the person I spoke to walked me through resetting my fireplace step by step by phone. My fireplace is now working and I’m very appreciative of their help! I highly recommend!

Fantastic service. The crew was able to figure out the low flame problem with my gas fireplace. It was fixed promptly. They respected my home and kept the work area clean. I won’t hesitate to call Kring’s for any issues in the future.

Today ,10-22-24 I had 2 technicians come to my home to clean my stove and stovepipe. John and Eden , both from the Schnecksville Kring’s did an outstanding job. They put down tarps to cover the flooring, and although a really dusty job the stove put out no dust, due to their high powered vacuum. I will make sure to call these guys annually from now on to service my stove . Highly recommend !

My wife and I visited Krings Hearth and Home to look at their electric fireplaces. We met with Josh who was knowledgeable and patient with our numerous questions!! His assistance led us to make the decision to add an electric fireplace in our home. JB and Mike installed our fireplace. They are two of the nicest men. They kept us informed on each step of installation. They ensured we were happy as the work progressed. They answered our questions and provided us education on the product. I worked with Krings to fix my gas fireplace. There aren’t many services available to do this and I was lucky to get appointments to diagnose and fix my gas fireplace. They were very good about staying in touch and their service people knew what they were doing. My gas fireplace is like new now and I feel safe running it in my home. Highly recommend.

Kring's is a very professional and safety-conscious company. I especially want to give a shout out to Josh Folk. We decided to replace a gas insert last month and evaluated offers from four companies. All proposals were close in price, and our deciding factor was the care and attention provided by Josh. Emily was also very helpful during my initial visit. After considering the options and searching the reviews, it was clear that Kring's was the best choice. Josh is very knowledgeable about fireplace products and was extremely responsive to our needs. Thank you. I highly recommend Kring's . . . . !!

Excellent service. I would advise anyone to use them. They came in the morning at the appointment time. Repair work was done, but later the same day the stove stopped working. They returned after normal hours and fixed the problem. The stove is running and heating again like it's brand new. Thank you, Kyle, Jimmy, EJ, Scott and Logan. Much appreciated. I'm warm again!

I scheduled an appointment with Krings to inspect my gas fireplace. We couldn't turn it on with the remote, and it's several years old. We thought it could potentially be a bad receiver. John arrived on time, put down dropped clothes to protect my floors, and completed the inspection. He was extremely knowledgeable and explained the issue very well. John removed the glass and logs and completed a thorough cleaning; which was long overdue and much appreciated. I was happy to hear all parts were in working order. A push of the remote button and my fireplace lit quickly. Thank you John! John explained all work charges well; which were fair and responsible. He was kind, courteous, and respectful of both my home and time. I would not hesitate to contact Krings again to inspect, clean, and/or repair my fireplace.

I went Kring's Hearth and Home Showroom in Late September looking to have some maintenance completed on our propane gas fireplace and met Emily. She help my wife and I with our questions and concerns professionally and politely. We ended up scheduling an appointment to have the fireplace pilot replaced and cleaned on Jan 3rd. The Technician Mike came yesterday and completed the pilot replacement and cleaned the entire fire place and safety checked everything for us. He professionally explained to me what he completed and shared some really good information about the unit we have. We are extremely happy with the service provided by Kring's! My Daughter recommended Krings and now I am. From the help I got from Ed in the office , with an estimate and guidance in choosing a gas insert to the installation work from Dylan and Jay. Hard workers and very knowledgeable in their field. My old insert took much time and patience from them on removal. Installation and clean up was top notch. These guys tried to scam us. I had a service tech out to test our unit and make sure it was functional on our new home a year or so ago. They came out to clean/service. They got a big may out and made a big production cleaning the unit. Said you can't get parts and it doesn't work. Contact sales to replace. I contacted sales and kept asking them questions only to be told that they need me to come in to their office and they won't speak with me in email anymore. I only asked about different units, what options were available, what upgrades exist.. Guess I was wasting their time.. Doing another project I had another company come out to check the fireplace while they were here. They turned the fireplace on right away.. They said the unit is dirty and there are parts that are also easily replaceable available. THERE WAS NEVER AN ISSUE. Fireplace works just fine, I am upgrading to a new burner assembly anyway. In short, I trusted Krings to inform me and service my propane fireplace. They didn't clean the unit, lied to me about broken parts, tried to sell me a newer unit and didn't even have good customer service to answer basic questions. Go to someone else. Edit: The unit never had a Honeywell valve.. they don't remember me either..

Starting with the time we walked into the showroom until our new woodburning stove was installed, Krings was nothing but professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. They helped us with our selection and explained the differences between stoves, making our choice much easier. Our stove arrived in a timely manner and was quickly scheduled for installation. The installers did a great job and reviewed the instructions on how to use the stove. Krings also offers maintenance on our new stove, which we will be utilizing in the future.

From the moment I went into the showroom to look right up until the final install, everyone was very communicative, efficient, and helpful. The guys who did the install explained every detail of what they were doing and how to use my new woodstove insert. I am very happy with my purchase itself as well as the everyone who was involved in the sale and install.

Thank you to Josh who made this purchase an easy one for us. He Showed interest, concern and understanding while being knowledgeable in what we were looking for. He took the time to explain and show us how things worked and answered all our questions whether it was over the phone, email or in person. We were very happy with this company. If you’re looking for alternative heating this is the place and I’m sure the entire staff is great here! I just had to give Josh a shout out because of his patience and understanding with our questions and concerns that we had over time. This made our decision an easy one because there are companies out there that don’t go that extra mile which means everything to us.

We just had a tech come over & service our Gas Fireplace as we had not had it serviced in some years. Did not expect the level of awesome that followed, they not only serviced it to make sure it was working, they cleaned the freakin individual logs, the inside, underneath, around it & reccommended that we have it painted as well, which we will save for when the little ones arent here. Overall it exceeded our expectations 10 fold. The gentleman was awesome, helpful & courteous, even putting down dropcloths to make sure our rugs & tile were safe. If ya need to have your fireplace serviced i’d look nowhere else, simply call the number on this page & you’ll thank me later.

We had Krings out to service our Quadra-Fire pellet stove. The tech found some pellets inside the auger that had been exposed to water and had hardened. He called his supervisor because he seemed inexperienced and didn't know how to fix the issue and came back with 2 options. We could attempt to fix the issue, at a rate of $150/hr with an estimated time frame of 4-6 hours, although they couldn't guarantee the issue would be fixed and they might break some parts during the repair. Or we could just buy a brand new pellet stove, which is what the tech tried to push until my pregnant wife got upset because of the cost. We decided to not do anything and instead, my father-in-law wanted to take a look. He managed to fix the issue within 30 minutes without breaking a single part. However, the tech never finished servicing the pellet stove, because he stopped when he found the hardened pellets. They still charged us full price, however. The reason we were getting the stove serviced was that it sometimes leaked smoke during the shut-off process. I called Krings to inform them my father-in-law easily fixed the issue they tried to charge us hundreds/thousands for and to give them the chance to come back and finish the service call, at no cost to us. Josh flat out told me they would come back out, but we would have to pay full price for another service call. For a locally owned and operated business, that customer service experience was horrendous. They screwed up, plain and simple, and now want to collect another service call fee to complete the service we already paid for. I will stick to using Wood Heat moving forward as they stand by their work.

We had our Pellet Stove installed January 2019 and the installers were very professional and did a terrific job. The staff at Krings is very helpful and the selection is awesome too. We had an issue with our stove this month (our fault) and when I called for help they spent 30 minutes walking me thru how to troubleshoot and we were up and running that day. We highly recommend Krings!
