Doug's made a bad day better. My car was undrivable and needed long-distance towing on this past Sunday, and Chris (from Doug's) was prompt and amazingly professional. He made sure we were comfortable for the long ride, was friendly and courteous, and delivered my car and us safe and sound to our destination. Chris's helpful, positive, and relaxed but professional attitude put us at ease and made the whole ordeal much easier. I highly recommend Doug's.
Absolutely Terrible Service – Don’t Waste Your Time!
I’m beyond frustrated with Doug’s Transport. I requested towing at 7:00 PM, and by 1:45 AM the driver still hadn’t shown up. My insurance company eventually had to cancel the service because no one ever came! I called over and over again, and every time they said they’d “try to contact the driver,” then just left me on hold and never came back. The driver wouldn’t even answer the phone. That’s almost seven hours of waiting in the middle of the night for nothing! Completely unprofessional, careless, and disrespectful of people’s time. If you ever need help, do yourself a favor and stay far away from this company.
My truck broke down on the I 81. I was on the shoulder and not in a safe position. My wait time was an hour and a half. I called Doug's and she said that she would be there in 30 minutes due to my situation. She was fantastic! Very professional and had my truck loaded up quickly and safely in no time! She was very cordial and friendly and kind.
I recommend Doug's Transport to anyone who needs a tow out there!!

My husband and I were traveling from Winchester, VA to see our son run in a college Cross Country race at LeHigh University. We hit a dead deer on the highway which cause our fuel line to become dislodged. We were stranded on the side of I-81 and worried about missing our son’s race. Through AAA, Doug’s was contacted to tow our vehicle. James contacted us immediately and was there to tow us in a timely manner. He was professional and helpful, dropping us off at a car rental business before towing our vehicle to the repair shop so that we could get back on the road to see our son. Without his assistance and going out of his way, we would have missed seeing our son compete. We are very appreciative and grateful.
The driver from Doug's transport was knowledgeable and kind. She made me feel a lot better after not knowing what to do when my battery died & I had no one to call to help. I thought I needed a tow as a nice gentleman had already tried to jump start my battery with no success. She asked to try just in case and bam! It started right up! She advised me to go straight to a mechanic just in case it was not the battery.
Doug's Transport picked up my broken down vehicle and took it to my requested shop without any issues. He was kind and communicative in trying to find its location. It took 3 hours. (Rush hour on Monday - side of highway)
Driver/dispatcher communication was good, however arrival time took longer than anticipated. Small access panel door for emergency tow hook for rear bumper lost by driver leaving unsightly 'hole' in bumper cover. Will have to find replacement. Vehicle delivered to my mechanic professionally with no issues or damage. Would use again.

It was ok. I waited almost an hour for the tow truck driver to come. He couldn't change my flat tire because there was a lock on my spare tire. He put it on a Flatbed and took me and my vehicle to the garage that works on my vehicle
It could have been my roadside service problem with communication, but I was told the tow would be there about 11:45am and they towed it around 8pm. Luckily it was near my home and I didn't stay with my vehicle or stranded away from home.
The driver was dispatched quickly and called to keep me informed of how far away he was. Upon arrival he was nice, professional, and informative. Thanks again. Even though it was pouring down raining he didn't hesitate and got the job done quickly.
Ernie the driver looked professional from his uniform rigjt down to his personality. He arrived even quicker than his estimated time. He took great care with my vehicle and his equipment. Once I called my roadside assistance they assigned Doug's Transport and the driver contacted me at home to notify me and they did a hell of job towing my vehicle which was stranded on the highway and towed it to the dealership to be repaired. I highly recommend this towing company for any towing needs.

I’ve been stuck in the house for three days with pneumonia. Still not feeling well, I decided to come get take out to feel like a human again. When I got back out to my car from picking up my sandwich, my car didn’t start. Thankfully James got there super quick and didn’t give up until we were able to jumpstart my car! I can’t say enough good things about Doug’s Transport. Ernie went above and beyond when my tire went flat. Not only did he tow me to a safe rest stop, but he also helped put Fix-a-Flat in my tire and filled it with air. He stayed with me to make sure the tire was holding up, and when it wasn’t, he ensured I was set to be towed home—over an hour away!
