I bought a brand new alternator from this place because they had great reviews and they promised a 1 year warranty. Well we had the alternator installed by the same mechanic who fixes all of our cars and we have never had any issues with his work. Less than a week after installing the alternator the car starts acting up again and eventually stops working. We look under the hood and the plastic piece that connects to the alternator melted. It melted so much that it was so hard to take it off. We eventually got it off and tried to return it. We were told by a literal mechanic from Honda that the reason this happened was because it’s a cheap alternator and they come from China. That’s besides the point. When we tried to return it he denied us our money back and requested that we call our mechanic so he could talk to them. The employee said it’s because it was installed incorrectly. Huh? Really? Don’t promise a 1 year warranty if you’re not going to honor that promise. Just give us our money back and would have been on our way. I DO NOT recommend this place at all. Save your time and money. I know it’s a little more but your best bet is to go with the original OEM.

Great place that rebuilds your starter or alternator basically from scratch. They have parts available to buy if you are working on your own and are open with insight or advice for what you are working on. Bring cash!
This is an Amish shop that only works on starters and alternators. They removed and rebuilt my alternator for less than the price of the new alternator part from mechanic (plus my mechanic would have charged me for 2 hours labor in addition). I was very impressed with Wilmer. He was able to explain the process of the rebuild and which components were replaced.
The only downside is they often need your vehicle for two days. Day 1 they remove the alternator, examine it, and then order the replacement components required. Day 2 the parts come in, it is assembled and reinstalled and vehicle is ready for pickup. My mechanic could have done it in one day but I was able to save some money coming to Pequea Alternator & Starter. Wilmer also noticed some of the pulleys that my serpentine belt runs through were not spinning freely and he replaced a clutch pully, idler pully and tensioner pully which were wearing out. Hopefully my 13 year old vehicle's alternator will be good for another decade plus.
Very Hepful with prices and quality that compares to Walmart regarding batteries and any auto part stores regarding alternators or starters.
Amish run but they've been around for a decade or more and know their stuff.
They will check your system free and they have good responsive customer service.
If they don't have answers for you they will surely get back to you with some.
Places like these are dying out and it is a shame because they are a necessity. If you need an obscure alternator rebuilt it is the best spot in southeastern Pennsylvania. The staff is friendly knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend.
I have had two generators rebuilt from my motorcycle and like for alternators for cars, and one alternator for a 7.3 diesel engine have had no problems they do good work
I was looking for an alternator for a Honda Civic every auto parts store had it priced over $225. I was able to get it a Pequea for $150. It was well worth the 30 minute drive.
Went here to get a part I could not find anywhere online. They found it. They placed an order it and received the item the following day. It cost less than what they had told me the day before. Absolutely awesome. The gentleman I interacted with was pleasantly polite. They've earned my business for years to come.
