We love going to Ephrata Recycling the most everyone is very polite even when you do something wrong by mistake, or have something that's not acceptable as is they are willing to help you with large loads. Have also told us what to do to prepare scrap to get more for it. Been going everyday for past 6/7 months n have never had a bad experiance
My first time there today and it was super-easy. I had electronics, misc metal and plumbing parts. In and out in a few minutes; will definitely use them again!

It's a metal recycling yard. Loud, heavy machinery to move tons of metal. Though, generally friendly workers. Good place to get rid of that metal junk laying around.
is anybody else having issues with scales not being accurate.in there favor of course. my empty weight was a thousand lbs less at another recycle place..(same truck). my last 2 visits left me feeling extremley ripped off..
Horrible service. Dumpster pickup and drop offs never on time. Held up my job site multiple times while waiting for a dumpster to be delivered or picked up. Only to have them come without a replacement and leave with the full dumpster costing me more time. Do not recommend using their service at all !
I've been here many times for over 10 years. Super people who do hard work recycling our JUNK in all kinds of weather. I just want to post a BIG HUGE THANK YOU! SERIOUSLY, THANK YOU for the service you provide, the business you run, in order for us get rid of our junk, to recycle, make a few coins, and Y' ALL all put up with all the regulations, sorting, weighing, paying employees, paying taxes, customers, etc... ETC...

I've recycled steel, iron, and aluminum here and the process is pretty straightforward. Generally speaking, you pull on to the scale and then enter the office to tell them what materials you have and provide your contact info (bring your drivers license) Next, dump your scrap according to where the attendant directs you. Finally, return to the scale and go inside to collect your money!
Slow service. Lady at front desk doesn’t know what she’s doing and has beyond horrible communication skills. Crackhead employees are more concerned with smoking cigarettes then doing their job. Took them 25 minutes to figure out how to unload a skid from my truck.
To start most of the employees there are friendly the air is very friendly and most of them have good knowledge of what they're doing and not only that it's very close to my house
