Amazing inventory like I've never seen before! But bring plenty of money and plan to "go big" or go home. Nothing is small there, LOL!

Had a lot of architectural antiques inside and outside. Lots of gates outside were impressive, as well as the furniture considering of doors, stained glass windows, church pieces such as doors, windows, stools and seats, as well as parts of bars over the years. Everything is expensive as it should be, but a big wow since they had so much. I have no idea how they did it by getting everything inside and somehow creating a walk way, but they did! Definitely recommend checking out if you need some good high quality furniture.

Walked in and was amazed, it's like walking into a museum. Lots of high dollar architecture and loads of large estate pieces.

The finest selections of historic architectural details I've ever had the pleasure to see. Astonishing pieces from the high Victorian to the gilded age. I only wish I had an excuse to buy some pieces, but presently live in a modest post war 50s home. The owner was pleasant, friendly, and enjoyable to talk to. Maybe the best ship on the row these days.

Very unique place! I have visited Arch Salvage places all across the US & this one is Definitely high end. (With prices that reflect it :/ ) Mostly large ‘niche’ pieces. Not what we were looking for, but a Very cool experience. Many many unique mantles.

I'm at a loss for words about this place (doesn't happen much)!! This is the largest collection of genuine antique victorian, gothic, masonic, and other furniture influences of the late 1900s (1870-1890) that I've ever seen in one location. And there are 2 more warehouses full of even larger pieces. It's truly breathtaking. Purchased 2 modest pieces and coming back again when I can spend more time. Ask for Joel, the owner, as he has the historic background on every item.

Yes, stop by here today and I like architectural items I was very, very impressed with this guys quality and quantity I mean stuff that you don’t see unless you go to somebody’s estate sale well over 100 years old so really good stuff now his prices are a little steep, but he’s got good quality stuff and some of the stuff he doesn’t sell like if you want a regular door I’m pretty sure you’re not gonna get one here but if you wanna leaded glass door, it’s really fantastic and for showpiece for the house I’m pretty sure his name is Joel. I talked him really nice guy. He knows his stuff and he’s owner.

We walked with 0 idea of what we wanted, and although Joel had never been in the space he seemed to know more of what we wanted… even when my wife tried to suck me into an impossible project bar, Joel was quick to assure us that this bar would be perfect. He was right. The idea that we get to enjoy this in our house for the next 30yrs is an outstanding feeling. Everyone there was great to work with from beginning to end

Oley Valley Architectural Antiques is full of just that - magnificent architectural antiques. Don’t expect to find your run of the mill antiques here. Walking through is like taking a field trip through time. This place is full of pieces to incorporate in a new building or add character to an existing home. Joel was friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in - even before he knew we were there for a purchase. Joel was extremely helpful - listening to our needs, offering many options and explaining why a piece would or would not work. Absolutely love this place!

Just wow. Went into this place looking for a door and the old guy sitting at the desk kept telling me and my wife “I don’t sell plain doors, most of what I have is in the $6000” range. For one, I never said I was looking for a plain door. And secondly I can read the prices so I know that your stuff is expensive. I’m sorry was I not dressed “wealthy enough” to be in your store? Watch walking out in the rain, your nose is so stuck up you might drown.

NOT WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE. Couldn't even get through the door with a wheelchair. I guess they don't think the handicapped shop. If you're plus sized, you won't be able to get through the aisles. Biggest disappointment on our trip.

This is a "know before you go" kind of place. Either that or use the word Architectural as a clue before you go in. Thankfully I knew what I was getting myself into when I almost drove by and quick swung into the parking lot. I was just scrolling through the reviews and many of them made me laugh...some older ones that had responses definitely would have turned me off from going in...thankfully it seems the responder to those posts has stopped replying or has just learned it bite his tongue...which is never fun, I get it. That being said, this place is phenomenal. Think Windy City Rehab and the doors and mantels they get from stores like this out in Chicago. Massive pieces that belong in homes 20 times the size of my small 1200 square foot home, lol. It's a tight squeeze in there, it is dimly lit in some spot, but for me that only added to the experience. You can smell the history crammed into that main building and even if you aren't purchasing an $8,500 door or $24,000 mantel it's still fun to look around and take a break from looking for antiques that the rest of us normal folk can afford.

Wow. This place was simply stunning. You won’t be able to take your eyes off of each and every item in the store. I was only able to do 1/2 of the shop on my last visit. I plan to go back. You will find things that you cannot find anywhere else doors, bars, Stainglass, fixtures, carvings. You name it, it’s there. The prices are in range with what you would expect for such height and architectural pieces. This is not a shop with a tchotchke and pieces of decor. This is a shop that houses art and architectural pieces that fall under that category. You have got to see this place to believe it. Check out my photos on Google Maps.

I have read some of the reviews on here and yes it is overcrowded but........ The owner was very pleasant to us and very helpful. we purchased a antique mantel and had it shipped to Az. the owner helped us every step of the way. He is very knowledgeable on every piece in his giant warehouse. We found it to be a great experience.

I could never afford any of these pieces as much as I wish I could buy an exceptionally beautiful Italian piece I saw. We very much enjoyed walking through and reading about the different pieces and seeing their history. The staff was pleasant. We met the man who repairs stained glass and he took the time to tell me how it is made. It can be hard to move around and I don't say this to be rude, if you are larger be careful to not knock pieces around and is it quite crowded with the antiques. Some areas lead to dead ends and can be difficult to navigate. I personally enjoyed that bit wanted to mention it to anyone considering visiting so you know to be careful as you move around.

This place has a lot of very large pieces. Huge doors and entire bars. Really interesting things, but most of it was very expensive. Things are packed in and if you did purchase something I'm not sure how they would get it out, but it did make it difficult to see everything. If you are an interior designer or looking to make a mansion unique, this is probably an amazing place to shop.

I love antiquing and checking out the antique stores in the Ephrata/Adamstown area. I was visiting the area with my mom and decided to stop in to check out what they have. The elderly man at the counter was not very personable when we walked in, which is fine. Walking around the place was impressive. It's packed full with antique stained glass windows and antique furniture that is to die for. When we were walking out, I said "thank you, and have a happy new year" and it the elderly man looked at me and just said "bye" I'm sure they deal with people coming in and walking around not knowing what they are looking for all the time, but you don't have to be rude. I'm guessing he may have been the owner because I saw him in a few of the pictures they have around. I'm sure after reading some of the other reviews he will have something to say, in which I don't really care. I just know after my experience I will never go back in there. I would rather spend my money and time at the TONS of other antique stores in the area. ??

From 10/31/21: NYer and Well-traveled huge explorer of great antiques - BUT this gem surpassed my expectations. Don't be fooled by the iron work and pieces outside, this place is overstuffed with such amazing pieces - so astounding - I was overwhelmed by the beauty of this extraordinary collection. I chatted with Joel (Manager/Owner?) and he asked if I saw their other 2 warehouses 'which have even larger pieces'! I was shocked to hear this since the main building was packed to the gills! This is a must to see!

Amazingly beautiful historical pieces. It is like walking through a museum and seeing one of kind antiques that can purchased. This is the best antique store I have been to in Adamstown. Staff was kind, knowledgeable, and happy to share their knowledge with you. My only worry was accidently bumping into something and doing damage with my clumsy body.

Incredible place if not a little overwhelming. But that's a good thing! So many beautiful architectural antiques. You literally could get lost in here but not mind it. Fun experience! Owners were very nice.

Opens at 10, walked in at 10:30 and there are no lights on except for one at a desk with a cranky guy. Asked if they were open and he said he just got in and he only caries high end architectural pieces. So? He wanted to know exactly what I am looking for, so I guess unless you know what you want don't go there. I wanted to look but with his unwelcoming attitude, I walked out and left. I may not have been in the market today for anything there today, but I sure won't go back there when I am.

Had a great experience meeting Joel and Cheryl. Joel showed us pieces of interest. We went to several places throughout the valley and no place had the quality or volume of antique furniture. The quality was on par with shops I visited in Europe, and most what was there was American made. They had photos of celebrities and movies where their furniture was used. Highly recommend a visit if you’re in the market for antique furniture.

This place was strange. First, don't bother if you're looking for the antiques that you find in most shops, they have some and they're overpriced. If you want to see very expensive, rare, museum quality pieces, this is the place. Unfortunately, the lighting is poor and the shop is so overcrowded most of the items are several layers deep. There are pathways that you have to follow so you can't look closely at 3/4's of the stock because you can't get to it. Also, the owner was behind the counter going on about how the other antique shops in the area carried nothing but junk- it was very off-putting. He didn't need to bad-mouth the other shops because a lot of the pieces he had are one-of-a-kind. If you think of this shop more like a museum than a retailer, you won't be disappointed.

Nice collection of architectural vintage items. Many doors, widows, fireplace mantels and large and small scale Victorian architectural pieces. Well lighted and organized. Moderator to expensive prices. Plenty of parking even when busy with the antique event weekends. Would absolutely recommend for house renovation or repurposing jobs.

Was looking for about a 3-4 foot architectural piece to go over a window. The man at the front warned me immediately upon walking in the door (without prompting and not in a friendly manner) that I wouldnt find anything small here. The pieces were beautiful but his attitude turned me off, what I could find priced was extremely high so we left quickly, where he again told me I should "visit everyone else in town if I wanted something small." Was a pretty big bummer, I would have liked to get some more Info on a couple pieces by his attitude was just way off.

Beautiful pieces. Both times I've gone in, the people working there were very uppity and downright rude. Both times, I had specific items I intended to buy and both times I walked out without them, because I won't spend my money here. It's a shame because I especially wanted that stained glass and that gate.
