If you’re coming here that load pick up from Columbus,OH or shipper kinexo. You’re welcome to stay 5-6 hours even capstone guy warn you. Mine took 8:30 hours.from now it’s my blocklist
Creepy environment. Beautiful area, probably about 500 feet elevation in the mountains. Always noticed that the people in these areas seem so tense and unfriendly. Not necessarily rude, just blank, inert and bland. ?
This place is one of the most horrible disgusting place ever to deliver I’ve been here since 8am for my appointment and it’s almost 5pm and I’m still here held hostage have not finished getting unloading

Don't follow your Rand McNally GPS to this place if you have one or it will lead you on a merry trip around a crazy way because it thinks that the roads that you need to get to this place off Highway 6 are weight restricted. I saw no signs to that effect so it must be older information that hasn't yet been purged from the mapping system. Use your Google Map instead if you've never been here before. Cordial and friendly staff. Staging area to park till they text you when a door is available. Fairly clean restroom and and a soda machine in the receiving area.
WARNING!!!!! First truck to arrive. I got here at 6am, with a 6am appt. To find out they open at 7am. Finally at 8:30am. I received a text, to back into dock 2. After I finished,” Checking in with receiving, As I attempted to give my breakdown sheet to the guy, behind the desk, he Immediately Said, “You are going to be here a while,.” .So I asked”how long,” an hour or two ,”” he replied,” and said ,” all day” . I then asked” why? He replied,”” Because we have a lot of trucks today”. There was only 7 trucks here and 4 trucks still waiting for Dock doors!! “Now it’s 3:30 pm, empty but still waiting on the receiving Clerk to bring the BOL. Drivers pack your Lunch and, if possible stay away from here…..
Check in at the guard check. If you’re early for your appointment, they will have you at the staging area. Leave the guard shack take your first immediate right and it will be in the area on the left.
Once you give them your cell phone number they will text you when the door is ready. Pop your seal open dock at a door and go inside to give them your BOL. once your light is green, go back in to the lumper office.
You might be waiting here quite some time I was an hour and a half early for my appointment at 7 AM and did not get out till 1130. Be prepared to pay for a lumper fee, which is sent to your phone via link unless it’s prepaid by company or broker . Good luck drivers.
They put me in a door right at my 7am appointment time and I left out at 11am… Beware… Capstone Lumpers are here. Your experience here will depend on how badly they need product off your trailer. Great view of of Pocono mountain side!
I really had no issues here. Maybe I prepared for the worst but I got here an hour early and was sent to staging area. Within 30 minutes I got a door and I was out 2 hours after my appointment time. Plenty of room to back in and everyone was very nice.
Guess the drivers are entitled? This guy is blocking an entry way into another Plaza and he's OBVIOUSLY done offloading. Instead of getting in his truck and pulling it forward to make the entryway available, he proceeds to take all of the product into the business while I wait behind him for 20 minutes now. Disrespectful, inconsiderate, and rude.
I'm being generous with giving this receiver 4 stars. The staff are exceptionally friendly, courteous and as accommodating as they can be.There is a restroom and they do have a break room with vending if needed. That said I do advise packing a lunch. Appointment was 0700, bumped the dock by 0725 done at 12:15. You're going to be here a while, all if that us true. Whatever you do... DO NOT BE LATE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT.. The reschedule is horrific, we're talking at least days from all that I've gathered from staff and other drivers in site during my time here.
If I can honestly rate -5 stars, I would. I got here at 6:30, which my appointment was for 7am, to get a dock at about 8am, to then sit and watch 3-4 trucks that docked same time as me, leave 30 minutes after they docked. It is now 12pm and I am still waiting for them to finish their stupid lunch so I can get my POD. What kind of warehouse just wastes peoples time? This is not the only warehouse we drivers go to. Time is money, and money we are not getting wasting time here. I DO NOT recommend coming here.
I don't understand what it is with this facility and drivers/helpers, but they are nothing but rude to us working these stores they deliver to.
They cycle the crews every 6 months, so we get a new set of drivers after 6 months. The last crew we had was amazing. Helped us get an answer whenever we had questions about the order, helped us when we had a damaged item or a missing item, etc. They were great.
Now that the 6 months is up, we have a new crew delivering to our store. The two helpers were quiet for the most part, but the one seemed resistant to answer any questions when we were getting credit for missing and damaged items from this order and the last order. But he at least got us the credit we needed.
The driver? He was NOTHING but rude from the moment he got here. I was outside having a smoke before they started bringing things in, thought I saw him bring our invoice sheet in. I asked him if he brought the invoice in, and he asks me "What??" I asked him again, and he told me he did, while yelling at me all pissed off..
Then after we got the credit and receipt at the end of unloading, I didn't see credit for an item on the final receipt they print out. I go outside and ask my coworker where the credit sheet was for that mispick, because I wanted to make sure we got credit for it. He told me where it was and I'm heading back in the store, I ask the driver and the one helper to hang on for a second while I make sure we got credit for it. Driver continues to be rude and ignorant to me, tapping on the clipboard he was holding, saying "It's on the sheet!! It's on the sheet!!" and didn't even give me time to check and make sure we got credit for the item.
Driver has a severe attitude problem, and I'm not going to deal with it. I dealt with it with the crew before the last one we had, but I'm not dealing with it this time. I'm going to be making a call to the facility this morning about the driver.
Y'all need to seriously pick better people. Us at these stores get enough when our managers get on our cases about items not getting credited, but ignorant drivers that don't even have the decency to help us make sure the order is correct? Yeah no.

The guard was awesome , I was early they placed me in the staging area .. waited about a hour or so .. but it was a fast unloading time .. they left a pallet of product on trailer and didn’t verbalize them t to me .. thank god I checked my trailer and paperwork.. because there on very last page it was written that shipper sent 60 extra cases ! I asked the guy was everything ok he said yes .. I took a star away for that reason alone .. Overall my experience was good here
Somehow my delivery appointment was screwed either by broker or by McLane. I tend to believe that was rather the broker fault but McLane might resolve it easily or be more cooperative at least
McLane communication method sucks. To get anybody on phone is literally impossible and even find direct phone number of their Receiving was a chalenge. McLane security guards were mostly hostile except one lady. I gave 2 stars because of her and people from other departments who were OK.
To sum up, if you want try your luck come here. My case turned into a disaster. I waisted 30 hours here, lost my next load and did not come home for restart. I wish I never signed up to do delivery to McLane.
PS: women labour is used for manual palet loading / unloading.
Shame McLane! It worst place ever, if you're smart don't come here! No restrooms, no service, no parking, no smart logistic. they are deceivers, they endured appointment three times without notifying the broker. The staff is very rude.
If you are a truck driver and delivering to this place you aren't going to like it. Avoid at all costs. The people are some of the rudest you'll ever encounter and the unload times are ridiculously long.
On a Convoy short load, delivery apt. was set for Wednesday 1 pm. Driver checks in at 12. Security says load was suppose to deliver day before. Thursday no words from the broker. Friday, we got apt set for Tuesday 3 pm. This is a Reefer load. 1-st load with Convay,
I had a 5p appointment and checked in at 430. I received a door at 615 and after a hour of no movement ordered delivery for my son(2 years) and I. When the food arrived at 745 the guard would not allow the driver to bring the food so i went to see about getting permission for him to bring it in and I was told I would have to walk. I informed the receptionist that I had my 2 year old and that was not a option and asked that they see if the jockey could bring my food to me for 10 dollars but they never asked. Asked that they allow me to drop my trailer and told them that its unacceptable for them to get me in the door late and refuse to help me get my food. Eventually I received the ok from the capstone manager to drop while he watched, went and got my food and came back and took my son in so they could see that it was inappropriate for them to tell me to walk while leaving him in the truck and the woman told me I should have taken him with me 1/3 mile in the 35 degree weather with snowflakes falling. I requested corporates number and after 15 minutes of waiting the manager came and I tried to address my grievance with him, I told him I felt like basically he told me to f off(without cursing) and explaining that I was being figurative, he kicked me off the property, put 6 skids of product they had accepted and stickers back on my truck, and called the police on me(who told me that I am not the lone person that this has happened to. This place is an absolute joke. If you enjoy people spending your time for you and being unreasonable and uncooperative then this is your place. If you expect a responsible business then you may as well turn away and don't come near hear again. Louis Faverbach was the receiving supervisor on duty when this happened as well as the guy who got mock offended and proceeded to initiate throwing me off the property after he saw I was serious about wanting to contact corporate so no other driver would have to go through this with this company again. Now my grandfather passed away yesterday so I may be oversensitive at this moment, but that does not excuse the conduct of the people who work in this building.
