Horrible receptionist. Rude and uncooperative. Now they're double billing me and threatening to stop service. Turns out the "receptionist" is the owner. A real piece of work.
I have had several occasions where I dealt with the extreme rudness of the receptionist on the telephone. She doesn't even let you say why you're calling before she cuts you off and verbally attacks. She needs to go do something else because she isn't capable of having a conversation.
Worst receptionist I’ve ever dealt with. I called to update my payment information and review the charges, and I was completely respectful the entire time. The woman on the phone was shockingly rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Truly disappointing experience and a serious reflection of poor customer service!!!!
The woman on the phone is the nastiest woman you will ever speak to. I can't believe this unhappy little woman has a job. Wanted a dumpster, not anymore ill go with parks
Lady on the phone sounded like she was huffing stimulants. Waste of time trying to call unless you wanna listen to her ramble. Guys that pick up the trash are nice enough.
The person answering the phone is beyond rude. I called to let them know they missed my garbage and she said they didn’t. Uh, the can is still full, she said the “driver” said they picked up a black bag. I don’t put a black bag out, I put the garbage can out. Then she said well, I’ll have to have the driver look at the camera to see if it was even out. I wish I was allowed to cancel my service but in our borough you have to pay for it if you use it or not, which sucks. I would never give this company my business. If I could give negative stars I would, just based on her rudeness.
Only game in town, they know and are horrible. I'd give them 5 stars for consistency, but they are consistently horrible to deal with. The lady on the phone is consistently rude and disrespectful. I've tried every other service but no one serves my area.
If I could give this place negative stars I definitely would!!! 2nd week in a row that this place has not only not taken my trash but also my neighbors trash. When I called in the “owner” lady was very ignorant & hung up on me so when I called back she had a different excuse as to why my trash wasn’t taken before even knowing my address! I will be letting friends and family know to look for different trash service as well
Expensive buy a bag, and the bags rip easily. Moved to a new address (yes I put the bag out on the correct day) and they didn't pick up my bag. Looking for a different trash service!
Last night, my friend and I were down on our luck, to say the least! The owner saw us break down and not only did he open his shop long after hours to let us use his tools to work on a bad wheel bearing he drove me 60 miles round trip to get the parts and had his head mechanic come in and help change it! They never asked for a nikle and even refused any kind of payment and said just pay it forward. Out standing people good christian people. ✝️
Do not contact unless you want to be treated like a degenerate. So rude!!! Have not emptied my trash for 2 months. The driver broke a wheel off and we got blamed for it. Unprofessional
Disrespect! Nasty, unprofessional! They left a note saying, "what part of 45 lbs. don't you understand?" I know the other part of 45 lbs. Since when is a can of styrofoam up to the lid TOO HEAVY? The can is on wheels!
The woman in the office is extremely horrible to deal with. She is rude and has an attitude. She had taken money out of my account prior to weeks in advance that I had to call and argue for my payment back that wasn’t due for another 3 weeks. It wasn’t until I had accused her of stealing and taking unauthorized extra funds that she then returned my money. And when I had called back to see why I had been charged again she was extremely rude and started yelling at me on the phone. I give this business a 0 and they are terrible.
Office lady is very rude. I was told to call back within a certain date range while trying to rent a dumpster being that they did not have any to rent and that’s when they would have more ready. When I called back weeks later, I was rudely told that I was wrong and was never told that, and that I had to be placed on a schedule (that was never mentioned to me about). Very unhelpful and misleading… I went elsewhere and got a dumpster scheduled for the next day and it was hassle free.
Rude office receptionist has been unprofessional and rude when speaking to me, and this morning was the end! I will be finding another service!
Wendy called yesterday requesting a call back I called but the office was closed. I called again this morning and was placed on hold by the rude office prude. So, after five minutes of being on hold, I hung up and called back, to which I was immediately scolded and stated “hold please you just hung up and called back didn’t you!” to which I said yes because I was placed on hold for five minutes which is terrible customer service and promptly hung up.
I’ve been a customer of theirs for 12 years. I understand they did not have employees to promptly bill for services, which was her last issue to call me about and tell me that my account has not been paid for months…which I’m aware of because it comes out of my bank.
I said yes I’m aware but instead of saying that it wasn’t billed —- she stated you haven’t paid in months and I promptly clarified that I’m on auto pay so that was not my issue and I was well aware that there was not an employee to do that. And that my bank card had updated in the meantime to which I gave her the information.
I will not be talked to like I am a degenerate. Quite frankly it looks very poorly of CCD to have her disrespectful and harsh towards customers.
They wouldn't pick up my trash and I bought the Orange bags out. And she lies saying that her boyfriend the driver said that the bags were not out. She is very rude and nasty to you if you call and complain. And there Equipment looks to be unsafe? Also they should drug test there drivers and the pitchers.
2 stars is generous in my opinion, however, they DID remove the trash on schedule 90% of the time. That's where the good things I have to say ends. The office staff is shameless. The attitude over the phone is ridiculous and has left my SO in tears on more than one occasion. The road crews seem to alternate and some of them WILL pick up loose trash, others will not, they will let it lie on the road and blow away. There is so much more that I COULD type, but it doesn't feel worth it at this point. The prices seem nice, but the CS will quickly make you wish you'd never agreed to a 1 year contract (that you don't sign or see) for a weekly dumped receptacle.
They do not pick up all the plastic bags in the dumpster. Stopped putting dumpster on truck to empty because wheels are missing. Lid leaks. REFUSES to replade dumpster. I do not recommend.
We are moving out of the area and have tried to get our dumpster taken care of and removed. My wife has called several times only to be treated unprofessionally and spoken to rudely by Wendy. Today my wife tried calling again to sort things out and Wendy hung up on her. So if you are trying to get something resolved here, you will not find the most courteous interactions on the phone, let alone get your dumpster situation resolved.
The lady in the office is extremely rude. Their service was never that great to start with but I continued to use them because I didn't want to go through the the hassle of finding a new company. The lady in the office speaking to me the way she did gave me the motivation I needed today. I suggest using another disposal company.
I’ve utilized CCD for over 20 years with a positive experience. However, the experience I’ve had the last couple years with the office personnel is definitely declining. They’ve dropped the ball twice now when scheduling dumpster services forcing me to go elsewhere for that service. I’ll give them the benefit of doubt and still give 4 stars because their road crews are top notch.
Horrible customer service... very rude on the phone. Canceled services with them and it's been 3 months and they haven't come to pick up their dumpster. Reason I canceled is because thr dumpster was rusting apart. Huge hole in the bottom and front, I called to let them know and requested a different dumpster but they told me to try to repair the holes myself. This place is ridiculous
I have driven out to ccd numerous times to take household trash. 2 of the times i have taken 2 8 foot truck beds of trash to ccd and those 2 times they were not accepting trash. They do not update their hours. And both of those times i did not recieve an apology. I live about an hour from ccd. Very gut wrenching to load a load of trash on my truck and drive out there to unload to find out i have to drive back home and unload it to try again another day. Very unprofessional. Ccd, update your hours!
People let me just say if u like looking at your garbage for months at a time for every excuse for not being able to pick up. They’re your people. I stamp that 100 %. Also they will expect payment for not arriving to pick up your garbage. Best part they won’t even take their dumpster. This is an ongoing problem with this company that’s happened one two many times but hey pay that bill. As well as they’re not honest. I call and get told truck is down with a flat as I’m passing the truck 3 miles from my residence, picking up someone else’s trash. Hmmm looks like it and I explained, then I was told, it is up to the driver if he wants to come to your house. Hello I’m a paying customer that u apparently pick up only if u feel. WARNING COCOLAMUS CREEK DISPOSAL SERVICE IS WORSE THAN THEY APPEAR… BE AWARE GARBAGE NOT WANTED….

The woman who answers the phone is incredibly rude and unprofessional. They pretty much take what they choose and leave the rest. Yes the prices are nice but you definitely get what you pay for! I will be using a different service after the treatment we received today.
I live on a lane that there are like 5 houses all separate from one another. So there are many families that put their trash out at the end of the lane. CCD came yesterday morning like normal and took all the orange bags, but for the 2nd week in a row they have not taken 6 large yellow bags from the curb. Getting tired of seeing trash set out at the end of the lane for weeks on end. Why if they took the orange bags for the last two weeks couldn't they take the larger yellow bags....Such poor and lazy service.
Honest people are rare, especially in PA salvage operations. CCD has always been honest and fair with me. Unfortunately, you'll need to take extra precautions with a mask and gloves during COVID-19 because the people at CCD won't for whatever bizarre reason(s).
Horrible company, they just throw your garbage can on the ground an go. That is if they even take your trash! The lady I called in the office was very rude an said if we dont like the service dont buy their garbage bags! Well I took her advice an we now deal with another company. Avoid this place at all costs!!!!
