Really cool stuff, and we love their special exhibits. We always enjoy talking to the owners, as well, and end up chatting and laughing. Great place, and a great addition to Punxsutawney.

Always a stop when in Punxsy. Some issues due to times open, but I hear that is expanding. Great to explore as you never know what you'll find.

Amazing place i think everyone should stop and check out their wares it's unbelievable what that have there so cool fun for adults and kids

Not a vintage shop, nor an artisan place. It's an indoor garage sale of junk with Harbor Freight tools in the back. There was no lighting, no pricing, maybe it was cool back in the day as several reviews are very old. Just keep moving along.

In response to the owner, Yes i leave less than stellar reviews, It's called Honesty. Plus the simple fact that you checked my other reviews is kind of strange. I've left quite a few 5 star reviews when deserved. Actually 10 of my 37 reviews are either 4 or 5 stars. I give credit where credit is due and don't give a good review if it's not deserved, that's kind of the point. My comment on getting things for free may not be entirely accurate but your prices are a bit steep. I bet you wouldn't have said ANYTHING if the criticism was directed toward the vendors and not Nomad's.

Lots of interesting things to see! If it's winter when you visit, wear a warm coat. Some areas have space heaters, but I only had a light jacket on. Estate jewelry, antique furniture, vintage holiday decor, doorknobs. Saw a couple old time aluminum lunch pails coal miners carried. Parking is free. Well worth a walk through.

Said they were liquidating a gun shop. No prices given on their Facebook post. Drove to check it out. Was told by a guy at the counters that the full tagged retail prices were the price, no discounts. Even after asking if that would include a bulk purchase I was told if there would be any discount it would be so small that it wouldn’t be worth asking for. I had been interested in a particular item that they had about 20 of, $30ea, was fully prepared to offer $400 for them as a bulk buy. Very misleading. No liquidation. No “deals”. No dealing. Nothing one would typically expect from a “buy out” or “liquidation”. Outside multiple people were loudly expressing their frustration that they “drove for nothing” and that “where was the deal that was posted?“ and a few other more vulgar comments I overheard that I won’t post here. Left a comment on the FB post, not rude, no falsehoods, just a comment that if anyone was driving any distance that they should know the prices were full retail. My comment was removed and I was blocked from their page. I had been a very frequent customer. Found many items to buy from the vendors upstairs. Noticed in the past that items they showed that would be “available” at opening on Saturday were oddly missing at opening. Misleading, bait and switch. Shame, because the independent vendors upstairs are the ones who will suffer from the reduced traffic. Sadly this place has turned into a sham.

They have different sales the last weekend of each month plus vendors on the second floor with lots of cool stuff including a winery. There is heat but you should dress warm. We enjoy the hunt for good deals and interesting items.

I'm a trucker, ran a load in on 1-24-22. Very friendly owner and employees. I will definitely be returning to take a load out this time. More selection than you could ask for, and I didn't even see half of it.

I've only been in Punxsutawney for a year, and heard so many great things about Nomadic Trading. I called there to see if I could look around and spoke to Andy who is the owner, is one of the most nicest guys. He let me come down when they were there at night and let me walk all around the building. He has some really beautiful pieces. I also enjoyed going up on the old elevator and seeing the building. If you want gorgeous antiques and anything else you can imagine go to Nomadic Trading you will not be disappointed. Thank you again Andy, for your kindness it was very much appreciated.

Friendly staff. Helpful in helping us move large items to our vehicle. Would like to see more consistent hours and a little more organization in terms of previously sold items.

I lost my wallet at 1 of the antique vendors back on the 4th of this month and finally I got a voicemail yesterday that it had been located by the pneumatic trading company wall apparently the vendors don't communicate very well with the staff and owner of the company as well as Facebook and in real life communication I spoke with the lady she was very nice she called the owner but out of yet to get a response back on Facebook

This place is very unique. It's a local business that should be very much supported . It is very unique and has so much to offer. This place will get your creative juices flowing. If you are looking for just that little something to bring a room together you will find it here. Or you just want a fun day trip this is the place. Ooh and the produce stand has great tasting produce that's a bonus . All around you will have fun and everyone that works there is super nice. All good in my eyes. ?

Pretty cool selection of antiques and vintage stuff but the place can be too crowded and many of the prices are through the roof! Still worth an occasional visit though!

Went there thinking it was there nothing over $20.00 but it wasnt but loved looking at all the stuff they had. I didn't find anything i wanted to buy that day that would fit in my car. But will try making it to the next sale to see all there things that are old. If your looking for great stuff take the ride and see were Punxsutawney phil lives or eat at one of there diners.

My Daughter & Son-In-Law bought 3 Antique Window frames for their house. My Wife & I drove up to PUNXSUTAWNEY, PA w/ them to pick up the frames. At "THE NOMADIC TRADING COMPANY" there are SO MANY different items to look thru & to choose from. There are SO MANY ITEMS from the early part of the Twentieth Century such as Kitchen & Dining Room Furniture. There was an OLD FASHIONED REFRIGERATOR & a DINING ROOM HUTCH & CUPBOARDS from that SAME Time Period. There was an OLD FASHIONED Corn Shucker from Someone's Farm. Wooden Tables & Chairs along w/ MANY OTHER USEFUL ITEMS were available. There were OLD LAWN ORNAMENTS & OUTDOOR GAMES for ALL Ages. There is a CLASSIC RECORD ROOM w/ LP's & 45 SP Records from the 1960'S & 1970's. There was a LARGE Selection of "BEATLE'S" Records & other CLASSIC ROCK Albums. There were CLASSIC ROCK POSTERS from the 1970's that made me REMEMBER those SPECIAL MUSIC MOMENTS. I STRONGLY Recommend that YOU make a STOP at "THE NOMADIC TRADING COMPANY" & PLAN on being there for awhile bc it's WORTH every moment.

Love everything about this place from the old building and the freight elevator inside to the antiques for sale. They also do special things throughout the year like wine samples, cheese, cupcakes, salsas even pickles and you can sample everything. Just a great place to visit even if you are not into that kind of stuff.

Travelled 3.5 hours and it was worth every mile. We’ve been all over the country to find good junk and we’re already planning our second trip!

Very disappointed in my visits. I went more then once to give it a chance. Also on FB the reviews kept saying it was a one time thing. So I wanted to be sure. Alot of broken junk at really high prices. The antiques were hit and miss. Some would be decent but unattainable while others should of been discarded years ago. Extremely narrow in sections upstairs. If the specialty vendors are not there it's not worth the drive. I do travel to flea-tiques often and this is Definitely on the bottom of the list. *Not good for kids or handicap*

Went to the Nomadic Trading Company for the first time. It's huge! We met the owners and got a behind the scenes look at everything including upcoming expansion of the business. There were lots of vendors here and great antiques at rock bottom prices! We'll be going back.

Great visit - my daughter (13) and I meant to spend about a half hour there, but forced ourselves to leave after about 2 hours. It's an enormous antique store with a wide range of items, low end to high end. The coffee vendor, small farmers' market made if more fun and festive. I will definitely go back
