Bought a truck 3 years ago after buying it for 10000 it needed a engine swap he paid for half but sold me a vehicle that was supposed to only need O2 sensors. It was junk engine
I was looking for a "new" used truck, and through word of mouth I learned that George's Used Cars is a reputable dealer. Upon searching their inventory I discovered they had several Ford Rangers for sale (larger pickup trucks are simply more than I need) along with a multitude of other vehicles. My fiance and I made the trip to Orbisonia and were thrilled with the “family-owned” style of the dealership (big dealerships are a headache). The particular Ranger I had my eye on checked out after a test drive, and within an hour I was driving it home. I thought that's where this review would end – but where George's really stands out is customer service.
Within the first two weeks of driving the new truck, several problems developed. I've always believed that a new part or two is part of buying a used car. However, the repairs soon added up to almost a thousand dollars. Out of frustration, I reached out to the dealership, noting the repairs I'd had done since purchase and my disappointment that a vehicle that I had bought from what I knew to be a reputable dealership had gone south in a hurry. I didn't expect a reply; however, George's offered to help pay for the repairs. We debated on what would be fair compensation, and they had a check in the mail soon after.
Do not hesistate to buy from George's Used Cars! They have a great selection of reliable vehicles, they are happy to answer any questions you may have, and if something isn't right, they will go above and beyond to make it right!
Apparently the lady at the front desk enjoys cussing people out instead of remaining a professional. After hearing her cuss out another worker for something that wasn’t their fault made me decide this place wasn’t it for me. Wouldn’t recommend AT ALL.
I bought a lemon from them a 2001 Chevy cavalier. It overheated on the way home, it had transmission problems, on top of radiator problems, it needed a alternator, starter, and exhaust needed replaced. All within a weeks time. It was rigged to get sold then all parts went hay wired. Never again will I buy from them!!!!
