If you’re looking for a camping experience with NICE accommodations, this is it! It’s really thoughtfully designed for comfort. We loved cooking outside, sitting by the fire, watching the birds, and going down the slide! Great place for a little unplugged getaway.

This was our first time at Airydale and my husband and I had a wonderful weekend. It was more than we expected. It was a pretty chilly weekend and the heater worked great. Ever amenity was provided that you may need.

We needed a last minute place to stay for a PSU game. We've been here before and absolutely loved it. Airydale was able to accommodate us within just a few hours of our message. We truly enjoyed hearing the rain hit the tent while we drifted off to sleep in bed with heated blankets and always love waking up to the clip clop of the horses on the road in the morning. The woopie pies and coffee are always a very special treat. Thanks for another amazing stay Airydale!

We loved our time at Airydale Dome #2! The space was clean, cozy, and peaceful — exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. The bed was super comfortable, the dome stayed warm and inviting even in the cool evenings, and the natural light pouring through the windows in the morning was just beautiful. We enjoyed our coffee at the little table overlooking the trees and cooking at the fire pit. We loved how thoughtfully everything was set up — from the comfy bedding to the little details that made it feel special. You can tell the hosts really care about their guests. It was such a perfect mix of nature and comfort — glamping at its best! We can’t wait to come back and try another season here.

We stayed in Towhee 2 in early October and loved it! Ethel and the family were very welcoming and it's clear they work hard to make your stay wonderful. Although it's "camping" the tent and external bathroom was spotless and super comfy. We had all the tools we needed to cook, including over the fire, and the bed was comfy. Tent and bathroom even had heating! We loved the outdoor shower too. During the week there's a little farm truck road noise but there's also the delightful clip-clop of Amish carriages! Lots to do nearby but mostly we just relaxed and enjoyed the fun of camp cooking and relaxing.

We loved our stay at airydale retreat. The drive up was stunning with the changing leaves. The host, Ethel was available for any questions or issues upon arrival and even gave us a sample of local coffee and some whoopie pies! The room was extremely clean and well maintained. And even with temperatures in the 30s we were comfortable at night with an extra blanket. The campsite had a beautiful view of the morning sunrise and the stars at night were delightful. We really enjoyed everything. Such a peaceful retreat.

Had a great experience at Airydale! We stayed at Dome 2 for two nights and it was such a unique glamping experience. Heat kept us warm and cozy even in late October!

Airydale Retreat was amazing. We loved the location, close to the East Broad Top railroad, and the amenities of the campground. The kitchen and close bathroom were perfect for our family, we have two young kids. We also loved the convenience of the close firewood and mini-split heating unit for the cold October nights. Great experience!

It was a very relaxing and peaceful weekend with the family staying in Towhee 2. We brought our 4 month old for his first camping experience and we all enjoyed it. Went fishing for a couple hours at Raystown Lake and was able to check out some local shops. We definitely want to come back and check out one of the other campsites.

Great service. Mrs Ethel was attentive and sweet. The whoopie pies were delicious. The Dome was clean and unique. We had an amazing time. Worth the drive!

This was our family’s first glamping experience and it was everything we hoped it would be! Everything was so clean and comfortable. Ethel made sure we had everything we needed! Fire wood, paper and kindling are available for donation close by the camp which was so very helpful! A short drive away is the Allegrippis Mountain Biking Trails and we spent the better part of the day enjoying the trails! We had the best weekend ever and look forward to making it an annual weekend getaway!

We had the best time at Airydale Retreat! We stayed in Dome 1 and Cardinal 2, and both had everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The tents were clean, cozy, and so thoughtfully set up. Our 3-year-old son especially loved the slide and all the yard games—it was perfect for families. Ethel even brought us some amazing dessert and coffee, which was such a sweet touch. The bathroom was spotless and such a nice addition. Overall, such a wonderful experience—we can’t wait to come back!

This place is truly special. It is so relaxing and peaceful and has this overall sense of calm. The kitchen is great and has everything you need to cook a romantic dinner, the beds are so comfortable and everything is so well lit. There are so many small touches that we noticed during the trip and you can tell they put a lot into these places. We sat by the fire all night it was perfect.

We had a very relaxing long weekend getaway! The area is absolutely beautiful, my only wish is that we came further into fall for the changing leaves. Guess that means we have to come back next year! Towhee 2 was amazing, all the amenities were top notch.

We stayed at the Cardinal 2 with 2 kids. it was such an awesome experience. Kids loved the slide. Its was a nice quiet getaway in middle of nature. It was a comfortable stay.. would definitely recommend..

This was our second time staying in Towhee 2 and it was just as great as the first time! The location and surroundings are great. It is an excellent place to get away and relax. My wife especially loves the outdoor shower. And to make things even better, they added an A/C unit to the tent. We will definitely return next year.

We just got home from our trip! We loved staying at Airydale! Owners were very attentive to our questions, and Cardinal 1 was very clean! The only bummer is that we expected it to be more off the beaten path kind of thing, but it it isn't far off from the main road so you can hear all the traffic going by, especially the loud semi trucks. Regardless, we will still be back for another stay someday, this time in a dome ?

We had a wonderful experience. We stayed in Dome 2 and it was great. Comfortable bed, indoor bath and shower, well equipped kitchenette. Close to the local sites, like Hawns Overlook, Thousand Steps Trail, and the Lincoln Caverns. Overall we had a great time at Airydale.

Awesome place to go for peace and quiet. |Sleeping on the provided beds was amazing and the ambiance was as good as the pictures show. Highly recommend!!!!!|Local attractions are decent and not tooooo expensive but also not cheap for 5 people. The local area is almost like home so you really feel like it is home. |If you’re looking for peace and quiet for a relaxing weekend or even longer. This is perfect. Just being g|food and drink for whatever time you want to be there. awesome

Was absolutely what my family and I expected for a glamping retreat. Left to do what we want but feel like we can live almost exactly like we’re home even with 5 people. My adult children loved it and my 5 year old thought the world of being as loud as he wanted with zero repercussions from anyone around us. My youngest even made friends on our 3 night stay with neighbors in Cardinal 2 twice!!!! I highly recommend if you’re looking to camp but don’t want the stress of being the backbone for a medium size family???? Don’t hesitate to!!!!!!

We stayed in Cardinal 1 and had a wonderful time! It was very clean and had all the essential amenities (running water, enough ac to take a break from the heat, a bed, etc). A great way to camp comfortably with little kiddos!! 10/10 will be returning annually.

Our stay at Towhee 2 was amazing. The amenities and accommodations where beyond what we expected. The location was beautiful. Got to enjoy the beauty of the surrounding areas. Hawn's Overlook was an amazing site to take in. Enjoyed visiting Lincoln's Caverns as well. The food provide by the local restaurants was all freshly made with local ingredients and delicious. Most importantly just taking the time to unplug from everyday life was very much needed. Looking forward to future visits.

We had an amazing time glamping with AiryDale! They went above and beyond to ensure our trip was hassle free by providing things we needed! The added AC to the tents was perfect! Our overall experience was perfect. The area was very peaceful and relaxed! My son loved the slide.

We could not have had a better experience at Airydale. We stayed in the Towhee 1 and it was perfection. The accommodations are so well thought out. It was a weekend trip with our dog to celebrate my husband's birthday. When we arrived, the owner greeted us and delivered 2 homemade whoopie pies and candles! We were blown away (and they were delicious!) The bathroom was adorable and well appointed, as well as the cabin and outdoor kitchen. We truly didn't need to bring much. The option of heat was magical, as it was unseasonably cold the first night. There was a binder filled with local recommendations for food, hiking, etc. We LOVED that. It was so helpful and we were able to spend 2 days exploring those places, enjoying a waterfall and having a picnic lunch by the water. In the evening, we came back to a nice stock of firewood nearby, perfect for making our campfire dinner and s'mores. Our pup was pooped and everyone was so happy. We honestly can't wait to visit again. Thank you for such top notch hospitality!

My family had a blast staying at the cardinal 2 location. The amount of amenities made it really easy as a family with small children. Our trip really tested out the tent with a rain storm, and it did fantastic. The heat option was extremely helpful for the cool temps we had while visiting. We definitely plan on coming back!

We had a wonderful time at Airydale Retreat. It was great for our young children 1 and 4. We had a very cozy and peaceful day. Nice activities in the area. Pine ridge coffee co is a great stop for families with young kids. They have a shelf with coloring supplies, puzzles and some games for patrons. We would love to get back here again!

Amazing Anniversary Retreat – 10/10 Experience! We had a fantastic retreat for our anniversary! We stayed in one of the domes and the experience was wonderful, and the hosts were incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The space had all the amenities needed for a perfect getaway, with so many thoughtful details that made our stay extra special. It was the perfect place to reconnect and escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. This was our first glamming experience and we highly recommend Airydale Retreat!
