I recently ordered a used part from Jordan's Auto Parts, and while the part itself arrived in good, functioning condition, the overall experience was less than satisfactory. I was initially charged $50 for shipping and was told the part would be shipped the next day by sales person I spoke with on phone. Unfortunately, that did not happen. It took them 2-3 weeks before they even shipped the part out to me. During this time, I received no updates or communication from the company. I had to reach out 2-3 times just to get a receipt and tracking number for my shipment, thank you Lori for replying to emails and getting me my information. The lack of transparency and poor communication on everyone else besides Lori made the experience frustrating. While I'm pleased with the quality of the part, the delays and lack of customer service were disappointing. I hope they improve their process for future customers. 3 stars out of 5 for the fact my part was correct but the wasted time and delay.
Edit to add, they not only sold me the wrong part after taking down all my information. They won't return any calls now that they know I want my money back. Stay VERY far away from this company and don't trust anything they give you. Not handicap accessible or friendly in anyway. Expect a long wait time and if your not able to remain standing(heart condition or whatever) don't even come. There's no parking or seating accommodations If the part works my rating will go up slightly but not much. Editing to add, they also don't have a public restroom. As someone with an overactive bladder due to medical conditions I can promise yall are gonna hate cleaning up after someone more than you will hate letting them use your bathroom
Just left Jordan's after a 3 hour drive from Southeast Ohio to pick up a truck frame. Called Tuesday and talked to Ben. Way more personable than you expect at a salvage yard. For a minute I wondered if they had hired an outside agency to handle their sales calls! He described it well and sent me several pictures. I told him I would take it, and he said they would get it ready. He contacted me that afternoon and said it was ready for pickup. I drove over today. Everyone there was super friendly and helpful. Even the lady behind the cashier window had a smile on her face. And oh yea, Ben is a real person. He actually loaded the frame on my trailer! Highly recommended!!
Make sure you have hours of time to waste! I was called and was told they have the part in Clarksburg. After I paid, they told me it's north of Morgantown in PA!! When I finally got to the northern location, it took them almost two hours to get the part. Very unprofessional
Horrible do not recommend, I bought a motor with what they said “had” 43k miles on it I spent 200 extra dollars because it was supposed to have that mileage so I did a Carfax report bc my receipt they gave me didn’t have mileage an I wanted to keep track of, the engine they sold me DIDNT have 43k miles it had 73k miles so when I stopped in to maybe get my money back or partial refund bc this is ODOMETER FRAUD federal crime , the guy I spoke with told me 3 different things of how they get the mileage an when I asked for proof of mileage he beat around the bush an “surprise” couldn’t give me any proof an started to get smart with me an my girlfriend, anyways they will be hearing from my lawyer soon this is a FEDERAL CRIME!
Horrible experience! I spoke with a gentleman who said his name was John. He said they have a steering rack in stock and I can come get it. He said he would bring it to the counter so I can pick it up. When I arrived, the guy behind the counter told me that there is nobody that works there called John. He said I probably talked to the owner Dave, who often tells people the wrong name LOL. I didn't really care about this though. However, after waiting at their office for 45 minutes for them to bring me the part, they said that they couldn't find it. Then they said that they would be able to help me cuz they have another car with the same steering rack. I looked at pictures of the car. It obviously hadn't been in an accident and had very low miles. After questioning them, it turns out that the car was flooded. So I was supposed to buy an electronic steering rack from a flooded car? I walked away. Will never come back. If you decide to buy a part here, make sure you ask them at least five times if they are holding the part in their hand before you make the trip to get it. I wasted a whole afternoon.
This place is very bad. I was talking to the employee on the phone. I did not hear him well. I said, “I am sorry, I hear you well.” He turned off the phone in my face, and then he did not answer the phone
We run a very reputable shop in wellsburg wv. On april 23rd We purchased a transmission from them drove 1 1/2 hours to there location to pick up the transmission drove back to my shop and installed it. Installed New filter and fliud. Test drive vehicle and it would not shift out of second gear.. pulled trans back out and returned it to them they said we will mail out the check today on 5-17-2024. We have called at least 5 times since dropping tranmission back off. Now today on 6-17-2024 exactly a month later we call and they say that we brought them back the core transmission and refused to refund our money.. not only have they cost us 6 hours of drive time they cost us 9 hours of labor for removing and installing transmission plus probly 20 quarts of atf... the parts puller did not mark the transmission when he pulled it and because of his laziness we are paying a pretty hefty bill for it.. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST.. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. maybe instead of pointing the finger at the ppl spending money with you maybe look internally at the ppl u probly aren't paying very much to do a very undesirable job....
Great experience, fair prices. I picked up 3 transmissions and the staff was more than helpful. They took the bell housings off for me and carefully loaded and secured them in my suv for the ride home.
My name is Dave you sold us a Transmission with a warranty and then turned around and are not honoring the warranty and have done nothing but lied and now duck and dodge all of our calls. So consider this review your warning that legal action is going to be taken if steps arent taken for a resolution. The warranty stated, "4 months, 1,000 miles. It was one piece of paper, not even a paragraph long. Did not say the liscensed mechanic has to show you proof how it was put in. It worked for almost 900 miles. We were informed the way the warranty is written is what has to be honored. And can not be changed after the fact. Not honoring the warranty we both agreed upon is considered "Theft of Services".
terrible -unprofessional- rip off artist Ordered hid headlight arrived incorrect and damaged (not from shipping) it was packaged in foam cut out to look like a toilet seat with writing on it . ( see pictures below)I called several times to have them send return pickup. finally after 6 weeks i sent back UPS. it has been 6 weeks and 5 phone calls and still no credit. will never purchase anything from them and will encourage all other shops in my group to do same. Iam calling all my DRP partners and encouraging them to take them off RPS in CCC
Spoke to owner himself told him I needed a Standard transmission. Was to be ready when I arrived. Drove 3 hours to get it got there waited an hour and a half for them to get it. It was an automatic. Trying to sell the wrong parts and hope you don't notice. Guy at the counter is miserable. Place is overall just a unorganized mess. Will never go back
I should have knew better to get anything from here as soon as I walked in the door. Bunch of inbreds running the shop in dilliner pa, girls and guys. To lazy to do their jobs and mark their parts. Cost us A LOT of money. So if you like wasting your time/money I would go here. If not, RUN!!!!
As a single female in distress, they were the right people to call! Even though they didn’t carry the part I needed, he listened to my problem and sent me to the other store and the guy I needed to see and I got exactly what I needed and for a really good price!
Told them I needed a power steering box, they gave me a rack and pinion. Spoke to customer service Manger and he said they would refund me the part and would get me the correct one. 3 months have gone by. No one calls me back, I'm always told to leave a message. I have a part that I paid for that I can't use.
Literally called and said they had our part we needed. Go to get and and spend 1 hour and 35 minutes and still nothing. 2 guys came after me a good while after me and the owner decided to pop his out from behind the counter, he follows the other 2 guys out apologizing for thier wait, mind you I was here around 45 minutes before they even came. The owner then stood and talked to them for 20 minutes and they 2 men left and the owner left as well. Well done owner and customer service, I WONT BE BACK
AVOID this place!! They make up crazy shipping charges and are over priced. Your better off buying from LKQ.
This place is beyond ridiculous, ordered a $4000 trans, week later, ain't been shipped, kept calling and calling the sells manager wouldn't answer the phone, laura in the office and another guy named Ben finaly gave me some type of information. Said the transmission was at the transmission shop, getting checked out since it was some much, and it will be shipped as soon as they recive it from there, Well half a week goes by and finaly got it shipped, got the transmission here, had it installed, and would you guess slips from 3rd to 4th, the very next morning got on the phone and Here we go. Got told they will call you back, never got a call back, left multiple voice mails to tyler and still nothing. Call once twice even three times a day to find out what would be done. So here it is 2 weeks later still nothing. Beyond pissed with this place.
Placed my order 2 days early. Said they had everything pulled and on shelf waiting got me. when I told them, I called you and told me part was ready, manager told me that I will refund your money and wont give you the part after I drove 2 hours there. waited 2 hours they can pull the part. very poor manage place and manager is really mean. I'll never go back
I really can't recommend this place. If you want to pay money for a product and get worse service than the DMV then this is your place to go. Third time coming here and every experience has been the same. Guy at the front desk seems irritated when you try and give them money in exchange for goods. Parts they do say they have they don't have once you show up. Pre ordered something and waited several hours to show up to give them time to locate. Show up and they still have you wait 2 hours because their inventory is lackluster. It's the same experience every time and today will be the last time I'm there. Their prices are the same as any other local salvage yard. Avoid.
Please avoid this place!!!! Horrible experience with them. They never give you information after ordering the parts. They will be screaming on you on the phone!!!! Very weak management and very bad communication. I ordered 2 parts, but I found only one after 3h and half driving!!!! The part I found was dirty and they did not tell me that before I got there!!!!
Unbelievably dysfunctional operation. Extraordinarily long hold times and incredibly SUBPAR service. I have waited almost 11 weeks for them to pull and ship a part. I have been assured several times that it would be sent, only to call in several days after the fact to find out that they don't even have people to pull the parts, let alone send them. If they were upfront and honest to begin with, I wouldn't leave a one-star review, but instead of saying "we're short-staffed, sorry" I got the run-around for 2 and 1/2 months. I, as well as all members of my shop, will never purchase from this organization again.
Worst Used Car Part business ever. You call them for parts and say yes we have the parts you need. Then you set 2.5 hours waiting on parts that they don't even have.
Great service , very friendly and helpful. Talked to them on the phone had parts I needed. I live a little over 2 hours away drove there and they helped me get the parts out I needed. Came home and realized I forgot one of the parts. (My fault) called them and they said they would mail me the part. I offered to pay for shipping and they refused for me to pay for shipping. 2 days later part was delivered to my front door. Now that’s customer service. Highly recommend.
I wish I had read the reviews of this place before I dealt with them. I ordered a rear differential and paid money down. They sent me a text and some pictures stating it had damage on it. Our technician looked at the pictures and decided he didn't feel comfortable using it, so we asked for our deposit back. They kept $200.00 because they had someone pull that junk rear differential. Please beware when dealing with this outfit.
they are the reason i prefer self service junkyards. pulling a window n mirror took 2 hrs and its damn expensive. theres two screws on the door panel, four bolts holding the regulator, two for the window glass. i can pull in about 20 mins. instead i call in my order about 1, get there at 3:30 and finally get out and get my parts at 5:15 leaving the same time as all the workers. their prices are on par with ebay which is just sad. but they were in good shape so i do apreciate that
Terrible communication, will not answer calls or return calls. Will not call to inform that part is ready for pick up and will hold your deposit as compensation when you cancel an order due to the lack of communication as stated above. Also overcharges on parts. Read other reviews for more info and have heard through word of mouth of parts not be as advertised. Highly recommend finding a different junk yard or parts puller service for your needs. Lost money from my deposit after having to drive to this location just to get answers as quote “compensation for my guys doing the work to get the part ready” as if it’s not their job to contact customers when parts are ready for pick up or to return/answer calls from customers. Also threatened to keep whole deposit when argued about not returning full amount.
Arrogant employees who have no interest or time in helping someone get a part to keep their vehicle on the road
Thieves that don’t stand behind parts when they fail. Said they would send refund because they could not find a replacement. Never happened. Still getting hurled around 3 months later
