We stay at the campground every year on our snowbirding trip to Florida, and when we return with the geese to New England. It's clean, the hookups always work, and the staff is friendly. No frills, no fuss, just a nice place to stay overnight.

The campground is not too bad. Lot of longterm campers. It is clean right next to the PA TPK. There is some noise off the road. The hookups worked as well as you can expect. Come in off of 522 and you won't have any problems.

Great for sub/hoagie sandwiches! All kinds of milled flour too: buckwheat, cake, etc. Souvenirs available. Perfect base to see the autumn leaves!

If you're in the area, it is worth it to check the cabins and mill out. The general store has some interesting things on hand, as well as ice cream if you're craving a treat.

This is a great little stop for overnight when traveling through as long as you don’t mind the highway noise. It is perfect for big rigs and Dawn was a pleasure to talk too. It’s clear they are working on improvements. While the bathrooms and showers are dated, everything was very clean. There are new washers and dryers in the laundry. We will definitely be back.

We came in for an event local to the area. The campground is located right along the highway so its somewhat loud with the trucks roaring by at night, but other than that, we have no complaints. Its a smaller campground so the kids were all able to run around. They have a little creek that runs thru which is cool for swimming and fishing. (But if it rains i wouldn't recommend swimming because it gets high and rough). There's a Pavillion and a little community fire pit. The store was cute too with some basic essentials. My kids were happy to see ice cream lol. We didn't eat the food because we brought our own but the prices didn't seem too bad. All in all it was a good visit for what we had to do that weekend.

Campground host are very helpful. Only negative is you are right on major highway. Noisy during day nights are less noisy. Very friendly and helpful!

Nice stay in the cabin with the kitchen & bathroom. I think it will be a bit noisy for tent campers. The traffic on Rt. 76 and the road in are loud. Rt. 76 rumble strips, the road in is sloped so trucks are gassing it or downshifting either way - noisy, bring earplugs. Camp store person was nice, accommodating and had a recommendation on where to eat. We wish the Grist Mill was open but it's in disrepair requiring lots of money to make safe for tours.

One of my favorite places to stay in PA, The on site store is a nice down home touch with delicious fresh made subs and is very handy for what you may need, as well as a staple in this little community. There's an onsite laundry facility that's very convenient. Clean bathrooms and hot showers. The owner is very friendly and made our stay more than enjoyable. If we didn't have to be somewhere else I would gladly extend my stay here.

Grist mills was absolutely beautiful, love the mountain and trees view! Also loved sitting by the little creek that was there, good for relaxing and meditation if your into that. Very friendly people and the food was awesome too. I hope to maybe stay there again in the future.

The mills themselves were pretty but the campground should have been skipped by our family. The owner acted as if you were an inconvenience when stopping in to talk to or ask questions - yes or no answers. Very rude. The women's bathroom was never clean. Toilet paper never filled, the showers were gross, and it smelled worse than the bath houses near the ocean. The subs were great but having them made if you were staying on the site was basically a chore by the same owner. Best bet- look at the Mills as you're driving past, and stay at any of the neglected and empty shells of houses in the area. It would be more accommodating.

Campground was horrible!!! Broken down campers, "grist mill" was falling down, check in office was dark and very, very dirty. Bread in "store" was moldy. I wanted to leave immediately but husband was tired after driving all day. I was afraid to walk my 2 big dogs. It just felt very unsafe and even creepy.

Absolutely beautiful site and scenery, with everything needed. Great hospitality. The on site shop has local products like pancake mix, with flour from the mill.

If you are a roadtrip traveler where you plan as you go, skip this place! There's no online registration, so can't guarantee a tent spot. Main gate was open, many tent spot available but don't set it up. They have had issue and will make an example out of you. Being woken up to a loud horn and pounding at my window. FYI, I was awake but my kids weren't. Just to be accused about stealing firewood! Again, I was awake and heard your car pull in then leave, I thought nothing of, I actually thought it was another camper. Thinking, they're just like other camps we been to, if they aren't in the office and the gate is open, then we'll just pay in the morning. But then you came back with what only felt like a lynch mob, honking your horn and ponding on my window yelling about registering and say people coming in and stealing firewood. I'm so tired of being the one people want to make an example of. I'm not reveiwing this place on there customer service or of there campground. I have traveled for many years and have registered online, slept in my car at truck stop, stayed at run down campgrounds were they have an outhouse and a hose to shower and I was treated like a guest, compared to this place. When you don't have an online way to register for a spot and someone arrives at your camp and there's no one or no way to pay for a spot. I suggest you wait til morning or at least have the courtesy to knock on the window or at least figure your life out, in how to get paid, for the days and nights you aren't in the office. I suggest you put a note saying if not open do not camp. Not to worry about me I will not be ever staying here again. #therewasnoneedforthat

Dawn is amazing! Good human! Peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Cabins are beautiful and very clean! Bathrooms are stocked and very clean. Even has a very affordable laundry room. If you need a great place to stay, you must come here. The store has a little bit of anything you could want! Great subs!!!

First, I will say the pancakes, sausage, and puddin breakfast that was held during the 2018 fulton folk festival was delicious as always. However the kitchen was very unprepared for the orders and everyone had to wait quite a long time for their food. Very nice campground and camp store. Very friendly staff.

Awesome little gem. I’ve stayed here a couple times. The owner is beyond amazing. Great food on site. Very laid back atmosphere. I highly recommend a stay. Great campground I have never felt more like a member of the family. Dawn goes above and beyond. GREAT Ice cream at the campground store. Amazing made to order fresh sub sandwiches. The pancake mix and any of the syrups they have are also worth picking up. A++ I would highly recommend a stay here. You wont be let down.

Fit our needs for a one night stop, reasonably priced with Good Sam but not a place I would put down for a week. Small sites, close together, PA turnpike within sight. However, Dawn on the phone and at check-in was friendly and efficient. Check out the pancake mixes while in the store; the buckwheat is delicious. Very new machines in the laundry room, reasonably priced but bring your own quarters. No change machine and the store is closed on Sundays.

I am very pleased with this campsite. The staff made the stay very simple and accommodating. We paid $250 for 6 nights on a pretty large site. My 40' 5th wheel and my F350 can fit on the gravel. This traditional campsite has a playground for kids, a few scenic walks (one of which has a little bridge over the creek), and a store seen in the photos. If needed, they have propane on site. Be sure to grocery shop before hand because the closest store is about 20 minutes away (unless, of course, you like country road driving). Safe travels!

Nice older campground, large pull-through spaces (with full hookups), a small playground for kids, a laundry facility, bathrooms and showers & a great store - they have pretty much everything you need so you do have to leave. They also sell flour and mixes made from the Mill - we bought their buckwheat pancake mix, it was delicious!

We stopped here for a geocache, but fell in love with this tiny store. I picked up some skillet cornbread for a great price. If you are in the area, this store is worth a quick stop to visit.

I enjoyed this rural campground but for one thing: it is RIGHT next to a highway, and you hear nothing but big rigs passing by at 70+ MPH all day, and all night. I DID get used to it after a little while and I was able to tune it out, but it sucked.

Owners were great! Always available when we had questions. Enjoyed the tour of the working grist mill and liked the convenience of the store. Located in an area with awesome motorcycle roads. When in the area again would definitely stay again.

My husband is here for work currently and it truly has been a great experience. The laundry is on site and the historic store is neat. They make the best hoagie sandwiches too! We will be leaving soon due to his job but have had a great experience! Thank you Grist Mill. The Hill family

The owners are such wonderful people here. They are always smiling and helpful! We have been here for a little over a month for my husbands job and feel so welcome. We were here during the Memorial day celebration and they had so many activities planned. It was a blast. The hayride is amazing and so is the tour through the grist mill. If you are in the area I highly recommend stopping by.
