Parts are at reasonable prices.
The cars are sorted into like types, a whole row of Panther body cars was easy to spot just wandering.
One thing that gets me... Electronics are not stored in any way... So if the part you need is in a door panel, for example, those pieces aren't stripped from the car and put in a container of any sort.
They're left on the vehicle and if they get rained on, oh well.
They'll lift a car for you if you need.
Take a battery powered impact if you want wheels.
The guy at the counter , I want to say John, has been there for over a decade. Really nice guy and was hard at work cleaning the counter.
Checking in and out is simple.
Cash only.
The owner and staff are really nice and professionally oriented. They stayed open for nearly an hour after they normally close to let me buy two rims and tires that no one else had therefore saving me a small fortune . They might be a little out the way to get to but it's more than worth the drive out there. Thanks again for your time and consideration Marshes Auto Salvage!!!
They didn't have what I needed and I went on a rainy day in mud was everywhere. You're not allowed to bring Jack's in the yard. Which seems crazy so they practically force you to use their service
Great customer service and a huge selection of parts. Had to get a new rear left door for a Honda Civic they had one in great condition in the same color for only $80!
Called place...they could tell me they had a "few old bmws" but are so badly organized they where unable to even tell me if they are the years or even series i neede to pull from. Place is terribly disoraganized and help was rude
The guys there are awesome to work with and they don't hold the hard line pricing most yards do. Prices can't be beat. The u pull it side has a ton of parts and everything is categorized properly.
Drove 2 1/2 hours to get there on Sunday morning arrived at 9:20 to be told they can't buy catalytic converters on Sundays because the guy is not in, which does not state that on the web site, On website it says small scale is open 7 days a week so i said well at least i can go to the yard which i needed a few small parts for my wrangler so after paying my dollar fee i asked where the wranglers are located and to be told they do not put wranglers in the u-pull it yard so after 5 hours round trip and full tank of gas i ended up accomplishing nothing.
Staff was excellent and they found the part for me in a matter of minutes. I had searched around several other yards that could not even tell me whether or not they had it. I would recommend this place to anybody looking for a hard to find parts for a vehicle.
They have an awesome you pull it side. 98% of the time I find what I'm looking for. Af if not they have a side where they pull it for you. There prices are more than fair and even if you don't have all the cash they do haggle a little bit.
My mother called Marsh to see about a coil pack for her 2004 Ford Taurus, but she didn't know exactly what model her car was and just tried describing the part the best she could (clearly I should have called). Anyway, she obviously confused who she spoke to and they ended up getting the wrong CP for her (individual CP from the DOHC Taurus, not the 6-in-1 box type for the OHV model).
Long story short, they kept their Dawson location open past closing so we could get the correct part.....and even did a direct swap although the correct part was supposed to cost a bit more. I can't complain about that.
Always great service, pricing has always been on par, part quality has been the best you could ask for from a yard. They have gone out of their way to track hard to find parts down for me on a number of occasions. If you are looking for A good yard that will take care of you and make sure you get what you want these are the guys to call. Thanks again Ed and Lou you saved me again.
For 35 years I've been coming here first--and so should you! Although the trend is to "CruSh!" vehicles over 10 years old...you still might find a bumper for a '38 Plymouth. B.Y.O.T.--("T" is for Tools)--is the rule to save money @ Sechrist's (35 years ago); if you can't D.I.Y., the fellas there will. HAPPY MOTORING!

I went and found what i needed, which was awesome. Especially since i couldn't find what i was looking for anywhere online. The prices were incredible (very cheap). If i need anything from a salvage yard again, "MARSH" will definitely be the place i am calling first.
