These people are a total joke.
I bought a Chevy Cruz 2013 engine from Marsh Auto Salvage and it was completely broken. When I called them about it, they acted like I was making it up! No help, no refund, just attitude. The people working there are rude, dishonest, and clearly don’t care about anyone once they’ve got your money.
They sold me a piece of junk and refused to take any responsibility. Every person I talked to had some excuse or tried to blame me. Seriously, it’s like dealing with a bunch of scammers pretending to run a business.
Don’t waste your time or money here. Marsh Auto Salvage is a scam shop run by people who have no idea what customer service is. I wouldn’t trust them with a lawn mower, let alone an engine.
Highly recommend everybody look elsewhere. They will sell you junk and then not stand behind their sales if something goes wrong. Never once has Marsh went out of their ways to make things right for their customers
Had called the first time, a person answered asked what I was looking for then hung up on me. I kept getting hung up on. Finally, after 8 calls, I was answered and asked if they had pistons for a car. They said no only full engines. I asked for a complete engine price, was told they didn’t have any.
Bought a alternator for a 07 Toyota Avalon and there are two different alternatives for that car one is a high out put for luxury models and a lower out put for the other models I ask specifically for the lower out put because that's what mine takes and after a 10 minute conversation they only had the high output alternator and he said that his computer said that they were interchangeable they are not now I'm having problems trying to exchange this thing so they are not knowlageable even with a computer in front of them or they were just that desperate to make a sale I don't expect the fact I wasted time and money believing someone who is supposed to have this knowledge
The nicest, most helpful people on earth!! They had exactly what I needed. Had it pulled for me and ready to go. Such a nice and comfortable environment. The part worked perfectly, and my boy has his car again for college.
pretty good service parts are in good condition, shipping times are reasonable, they do not blind ship parts, even after i have given them hundreds of dollars for other parts, unfortunate
Sold me unusable wheels with the idea that they are decent condition once the mud came off it had huge dents that the dirt was hiding. They will scam you, dont trust them!
Called to get a motor, was told I the motor was pulled and ready I could come anytime. Arrived a few hours later and they said the motor was not out of the truck would be about 3 days. I paid for it in cash on the spot. They called a few days later saying it was ready. When I arrived they told me it they had sold the motor I paid for but they had other ones. They refunded my money and successfully wasted over 4 hours of my time. Guy at the counter was nodding off mid conversation. Hope he was just tired and not struggling with something else.
Got an engine for my Wrangler here. You won’t find better customer service than this place. The young man who answers the phone was so nice and didn’t make me feel stupid explaining what I needed. Had to wait from Thursday to Monday to pick it up but I don’t believe that’s a long wait. Price was more than fair. It’s running great. And, to me it only makes sense to have to pay before they remove the part, or else they’d definitely get screwed
All issues that arose concerning the diesel engine we purchased were made right. They even offered and gave us back money on a mistake concerning the year of motor. It's a long story but in the end Dennis and Tom were great to work with.Wouldn't see any reason not to deal with them again
They had the part that I needed pulled already. I was able to go in and pick it up the same day. Seem fairly priced to me so I would definitely recommend going here.
Staff were pretty helpful but most of the parts that bought were total junk. I understand that you take a risk buying from a scrap yard. But for half of my parts to be completely useless is unacceptable. I bought over $500 in parts and about $250 worth were junk. The only kind of resolution they offered was to offer me a partial credit that I could use there. I will spend a little bit extra money and buy my parts on eBay.
They say you have to be signed in by 4:30 and out by 5 I was there a 4:19 to sign in and they said it's closed no one can go in after 4 30 I opened my phone and told the guy it 4:20 I still have 10 mins and he said come back tomorrow after driving a hour to get there I can see if it was 4 30 or after 4 30 but it wasn't even 4 20 all I needed was a part that would of took me 5 mins to get off i come in here all the time and this is how they treat you if your going to go off of your timing you shouldn't be turning people away 20 mins earlier before you close
They may or may not have your part. But they are easy to work with, an out to help best they can. For 2 bucks an walk you never know what you will find. Good prices if you don't mind getting dirty.

After a bunch of confusion. Dennis took really good care of me and got me out of there as quick as he could. He was super nice.
The guys at the counter are friendly & knowledgeable! We got there from Somerset 20 minutes before closing & requested a part for my car. The guy at the counter radioed another employee & they actually stayed a little late to get the part to us! Very well oiled business!! Saved us another trip. Thanks guys
Very nice people. They helped my husband and daughter load up an engine we purchased from them. Definitely recommend them to anyone. My go to place for used car parts.
Needed numerous parts for a 02 Lincoln Continental front end. Found everything at Marsh. Tom was very helpful helping me locate all the parts I needed. Norman had everything pulled and ready for me when I arrived. Everyone was very helpful and professional. Well worth a 3-hour trip.
Total unprofessional. Called 2 days ago about a cylinder head and was told it was tested and ready to go on the shelf. Called today and stated I was going to pick it us and asked if I could be sure the valves were not bent since it came from a blown motor. Was told I could but had to pay up front and could not get a refund upon inspection if they were bent. Save you time and money and stay away from this place.
Wasn't worth the hour drive over. Called them in advance for a replacement mirror for our car, and they had the wrong one in stock! At least they were nice enough to give us "a number to try calling to order the right one?"
Love this place, been coming here with my best friend for 10 years now! U-pull it section is good, but they could refresh that section a little more frequently in my opinion. Fair pricing, friendly staff and workable hours!
