I called at 8:15pm to ask if they install batteries and the woman who answered was very rude. I could tell by the tone of her voice that she was annoyed that I would call that late asking about getting a battery and having it installed. Hey lady I'm sorry that my dead battery emergency happened at an inconvenient time for you. She told me I'd need to come back in the morning. So I called the Pittston location and the man was nice and said he could get it in for me. I went there and had a new battery by 8:45pm. I thanked him and apologized that it was so close to closing time and he didn't seem to have a problem at all with that. If the woman in Luzerne had politely explained that there was no one available at that location to do a battery install without the attitude I wouldn't be writing this negative review. Im thankful that the Pittston location has much nicer employees.

Don’t get a battery here they sold me a bad battery 2 days later I return it they give me another one 10 months later it was bad they would not honor the 1 year warranty because I already retuned the bad battery 2 days after I bought the dame thing manager said that’s nothing we can do for you bad service don’t honor warranties that they are suppose to

had an incredible experience at Advanced Auto in Luzerne, thanks to Chris. My car battery had died, and what could have been a stressful day turned into a surprisingly pleasant one because of him. From the moment I walked in, Chris was friendly, patient, and took the time to explain everything clearly. He didn’t just rush me through options; he genuinely cared about finding the best solution for my situation and even helped save me some money! Chris’s dedication to customer service is something you don’t see every day. He transformed an otherwise frustrating experience into one that left me feeling confident and grateful. I have a commercial account and sent my employee to pick up parts for me and he was told by the female there "I don't know you" so he would have to pay full retail price and then i would have to come to the store in person to be refunded the difference. This is the most backwards business logic I have ever heard in my life. These are national accounts, how is this female employee up to date on every company's employee records? Really getting tired of treated like TRASH as a commercial customer. Regional management, PLEASE EDUCATE YOUR EMPLOYEES. Disgusted with this store.

Went in for key fab battery. Told John at counter was having hard time getting key apart. Without me asking he took key , grabbed some tools and replaced battery. Nice guy good service there always.

George put a new battery in for me even though it was nearly closing time. He took his time and made sure the connections were clean and battery was secure, after dark, right in the parking lot. Thanks George!

Working with this Advance Auto Parts was fantastic. My vehicle broke down in the area, and I had to coordinate a transmission replacement from afar. Bob and the rest of the team were excellent in helping me find the right part, get it over to the shop, and pick up and credit me for the core. Excellent customer service, and a great price on the transmission. Thank you all!

One star is generous. I ordered a battery online and it said they would install It. when I got to the store and even after calling them and the lady said bring it down, they refused to install it blaming covid. Since when is covid a synonym for being lazy bas*****s? This is a really crummy store and I predict it's going to get closed soon. The other ones around her much nicer although I'm not going to bother to find out now.

Good local store, always helpful since it is nearby, I try it first n usually they have what I am looking for n it's not for auto but for lawnmower. Happy that they had all I needed. You should try this store.

Went here after being frustrated by the rude service from the manager at the Wilkes barre location. This manager was way more professional and friendly. Took care of my problem without hesitation. I’d recommend coming here over the one in Wilkes barre if you’d like better service.

Walked into this store on Sunday, December 6th and inquired about a battery for my vehicle which they did have in stock and the clerk also confirmed that they would install it for free. Quoted me a battery for $170.00. I wasn't in a position to have it installed right then, but told them I would be back in the morning (this morning) to purchase and have installed. They confirmed they could and what time they opened. This morning I walked in, different clerk pulled up the same battery and asked me why we didn't have it installed the day before. I explained my schedule wouldn't allow. He then stated that they can't install it, had to be professionally installed. I responded with "why wasn't I told that yesterday?" when he just shrugged his shoulders. Spent today finding a comparable battery at a competitor's location - much cheaper, faster AND installed on the spot.

After not going anywhere for a couple of months. It was nice to get out and have a nice meal. My daughter, granddaughter and great granddaughter enjoyed a luscious meal.

These guys are great went in with a left turn signal out and some minor concerns with my chevette within 5 minutes employees helped top off blinker fluid and also helped repack grease in my muffler bearings drove out felling great

All I needed was brake fluid, soon as I walked in somebody did ask if they can help me, I said I'm looking for brake fluid. Picked up a bottle and waited 25 minutes for someone to leave their circle jerk and operate the register for me.

Never have what I need and employees aren't very helpful or knowledgeable. Rock Auto and Amazon are both better options. I don't need someone to order my parts in 2018 I can just get them delivered to my own house!

I bought an ignition control module, "just in case", for my old '91 Chevy truck that had broken down on the side of the road the night before. I figured that I would stop and get it on my way home from work to save the drive and the time, if I couldn't get it started. Well, it started and I was able to get it home. I didn't use the part, or even take it out of the box after I left the store. I went to return it today, only to be rudely informed they have a "no returns on electrical parts" policy and the ONLY exception is an exchange for a defective part. I had the receipt, which had no such notice printed on it, and Dennis, that had waited on me yesterday, had said nothing about any such policy. I was then informed that they have a sign on the front door that stated it. I did not see it. I informed the young man I was dealing with that I wouldn't have even bought it, if I had known that was their policy. I then asked for a store credit, I was denied again, stating that was not possible, that their computer system wouldn't even let him. Which I know is highly unlikely. All retail stores allow some sort of override. After all, what if I decided I didn't want it before I even left the store with it? Would I be stuck with it? I then asked for the manager was informed by the man waiting on me that he was the store manager. When I pressed him on it, he made some lame excuses. The part was clearly new and unused and in excellent condition, along with all the packaging. I had the original sales receipt. There was absolutely no reasonable explanation for not trying to help me. I can honestly say I will never buy another part from Advance Auto Parts unless this situation is resolved.

I stopped in the get a front Caliper for my Honda unbeknownst to me the part was defective. After bleeding that line like a stuck pig I bled the whole system to no avail. The last thing I checked was the caliper, bad move. I called the store and John hooked my up with a good part (not in stock) and bought me lunch. There is more to the story but the bottom line, John and the store were great. Thanks guys!!!!
