2 times the price on their Facebook page was different then when you went into the store. first time was halloween they had cakes for ten dollars when I went to the store they insisted twenty even though facebook said ten then today the princess cake was pinned on their Facebook for $45 When I called to order it, they told me 55.00That's over twenty percent increase Since november and all they did was remove the post... lost a customer
The prices were pinned, so it's the first thing you saw on the page.I did go through the entire facebook to see if there was a price update like the owner said. But there was not, maybe he should pay closer attention.
Our company used Penncraft Market to cater an event. We ordered a variety of slider sandwiches, fruit/dip and veggies/dip. Everything was very fresh and delicious. We especially liked the chicken salad sliders. The pricing on each item was fair, especially for the quality of food and number of servings. We will definitely order from them again!
I'm not sure where to even start........ every single thing I have ever gotten from this store has been absolutely wonderful!! The pepperoni rolls are phenomenal.... the princess cakes cannot be beat... the hot foods and catering are all super delicious and very reasonably priced!!! Honestly, I don't know why you would live in this area and not get what you need from Penncraft Market. Also, it is so important to buy local and keep our small businesses up and running. Kudos to everyone there who helps to make every visit worth every penny!! Keep up the good work!
Bought these pepperoni rolls from a fundraiser ... Not sure why you'd want them to be sweet. Very odd taste and can't taste any cheese in them. Won't buy again.
Glad great markets like this are still around. All the deli and Baked goods are excellent. The Princess cupcakes are legendary, I won't share them and im not ashamed
If I could, I would give ZERO stars!!! I ordered 3 hoagies to support the Brownsville Midget Football League at $9 a piece, for a total of $27... Well, I just received them today and they are approximately 6 inches in length, when they're usually around 12 inches for that price! Not only that, but the buns on 2 of the hoagies are a little hard, but eatable if put in the microwave for a few seconds to soften the buns some... HOWEVER, the 3rd hoagies's top bun is ROCK hard... I had to throw the top bun away, cut the bottom part of the hoagie in half, and fold the 2 halves together, just to have what is now a 3 inch hoagie that I paid $9 for... I WILL NEVER ORDER HOAGIES AGAIN IF IT'S FROM PENNCRAFT MARKET!!!
Great customer service love the fact that they make you feel welcomed and I love supporting small businesses all the food is homemade and it is delicious they are very patient it is a diamond in the dirt
I was very disappointed when I went there. I had seen all the ads on Facebook. It showed all this wonderful food. They didn't have anything. I live in Texas and couldn't wait to get there! What a let down?
The best pepperoni rolls in the area. Only downside is please check the expiration date on your drinks from the fridge, especially diet soda or zero sugar sports drinks. Friendly and very helpful staff.
When I went in I was greeted and waited on right away. Penncraftmarket is nice but small bakery and convenient store. The bakery has sweet bread pepperoni rolls, hot, extra hot, American cheese and plain. The chocolate chip cookie are delicious too. They had turnovers and fresh baked bread. They have outside picnic tables if you don't want to eat on the go.
As I said in my review of PennCraft Market (same place), I've been coming here since I was a wee youngin' since I grew up in PennCraft. The owner is super nice, staff super friendly, bakery uber yummy and fresh, grocery well stocked and pepperoni rolls still delicious!
Very very very good hoagies and just a really good place to go and shop. The owners are really good people and their workers are great to be around as well.
Omgoosh this store is packed full of xmas cheer and good food! Very affordable prices n seriously for the Brownsville area pretty much the only place to get fresh cut deli meat! Employees were nice and everything is priced just right! Definitely worth the trip!
I have loved their pepperoni rolls since I was 8 years old. I still to this day make it a point to pick a few up for my family and I when going through Brownsville. I highly recommend anyone to try them, you will never be able to enjoy a typical pepperoni roll made any other way again once you do have a Penncraft Pepperoni Roll.
Just discovered this gem! This isn't exactly in a busy commercial district, but well worth the trip. We bought an apple pie, some assorted cookies and pepperoni rolls for a get together. Service was great and friendly. They were all delicious and received rave reviews from everyone. We will be a regular customer.
Excellent small town bakery with hot food options at lunch time and a convenience store setup with a decent selection. Cold drinks available (non-alcoholic) and some of the best doughnuts around. Ice cream is usually available as well.
Loved this place for years! I actually worked here when I was fresh out of high school many moons ago, back when there was a store and a game room both in the building, before it burned down. They still make some of the best pepperoni rolls around, and their hoagies are to die for! Everything in their hot food case looks/smells really good, and the pre-packaged stuff in the cold case looks great as well (I'm not as big an eater as I used to be)... And of course, the pastries, donuts and cookies/cakes are beautiful and yummy! The new building is super clean and neat, and the folks who work there are really friendly. Love coming here for their pizza rolls when I'm visiting from out of town. Such a great little market for when you need something quick and don't want to drive into town.
