This place is horrible make sure you check your tickets at the end. There is also a guy who believes the whole yard is his and thinks he’s In charge of something for the first time in his life.
Great service. Employee Cory was professional and friendly. He guided me through the process to make sure I separated the copper from the other metals to received the best price.
Ive been come to Emr Atlas for years normally during the day but lately during the second shift and I tell you them guys are alsome Chris is great at what he do, and Cory is one of the best supervised I've seen he run a good crew
I came to Sharon Hill for the first time in years and I can not believe how my friend and I were treated! I normally go to EMR Tioga, actually I frequent this location two to three times a day and am very happy. This is why I felt comfortable enough to think I could visit any emr and have a positive experienc. Unfortunately this was anything but positive. I was treated so poorly that I left this yard feeling so disrespected that I feel that I need to spread the word that this EMR should be avoided at any cost by anyone who believes in common courtesy and respect for another human being. If you want to be treated like a piece of crap then come to this EMR!
Gary and all the men down there in Sharon Hill deserve a raise. They have explained to me how things are separated and where they go in the lot! KEEP THESE GUYS AS GOOD WORKERS ARE HARD TO FIND!
I had an atm issue yesterday and I was really upset. Those guys, DJ and Cory are the very best of EMR. Thanks for such great help clearing up this issue.
I don't understand why many people give so many stars to this place? I handed over 177 pounds and they paid me only 30 cents per pound - the current price is now about 50 cents per pound. I also think that their scales underestimate the total weight - I weighed at home and I had ten pounds more. I also tried to call them and no one picks up the phone..,
I live in NJ and go to the EMR in Camden I met Cory in my travels one of the nicest person I met in awhile, a great asset to your company very friendly and knowledgeable about the material you handle I've been recycling at EMR when it was still Camden iron and metal,and with personal like him I will continue to scrap there 5stars
This is the best facility that I have been to. The process is efficient, the operators are respectful and helpful, and they even showed me how to make more money. 10 out of 10!
I have a junk removal company and I frequent this scrap yard. I have to express how satisfied I am always with this location in Sharon Hill, PA. Yes I am especially grateful to one of the supervisors there named Cory. He is very professional and always finds the perfect balance between his loyalty to his coworkers and loyalty to his customers. I have known Cory since EMR Camden and hips professionalism and good attitude have always been delightful and consistent.
Competitive prices, open until 10pm, and helpful staff. I've been coming here for a long while and usually have a good experience. My only qualm is the price of aluminum is a little on the low side compared to other places, but the rest of the prices are on point.
Been going here for about two years now and it’s the number one spot for scraping, no complaints here just play by the rules good people on the ground feel like family amongst them. Keep hustling people
This place is great. ALL the employees were super helpful. They walked me through the process for my first time and explained everything so well. I was in and out with my cash in less than 10 minutes. Don’t look around for a scrapyard-just come here!! Highly recommend!
Excellent manager with really great people skills. Randy stays on top of his helpers in a nice friendly way and also handles problems and disputes with all concerned in a VERY CALM yet Wise way. Helping to keep tensions down. The supporting staff is helpful, and knowledgeable. Prices are fair and good. Karl also has been a constant study ,str strong,VERY quite assistance at the yard for many MANY years. Always clam and supporting EVERY supervisor YEAR after Year, probably the most over looked under payed employee. He always has a smile and most businesses that are successful have a CARL hidden in the back ground.
I have been dealing with Atlas for the past 3 years with ALL of my metal recycling. I commute from New Jersey daily to do business with them. They have amazing, knowledgeable staffs that are there to assist you with all of your recycling needs. They will bend over backwards to help you get the best prices.
Very clean and organized recycling facility. Can't beat the 6AM-10PM Monday -Friday and then 6AM-4PM Saturday hours! They are super busy, and at times, you still have to wait although they have at least 8 nonferrous scales open....Great friendly staff that understands your need. Unbeatable prices! Highly recommend this yard for all your metal recycling.
I love my family at EMR Atlas. It's a wonderful experience every time I go. The staff there is outstanding and always willing and ready to help you with any questions you have. I travel long distances to get to sharon hill atlas because of the great prices and the overall experience. Atlas is the way to go!
I'm not a professional scrapper just a random guy who had some random scrap metal in his garage. The employees at Atlas were friendly and honest and they helped me out with all my questions. The experience was MUCH better than the couple of times I went to Accurate Recycling in Lansdowne. Always got the feeling that the guys at Accurate were ripping me off. I will make the trip to Atlas the next time I have scrap metal.
great place the second shift guy are some great guys. I can say the same for all the first shift. But they made some changes and getting better. I would recommend the the place to everybody. the only bad thing is I wish all there place had the same price. sometime other yards pay more.
I've been using these guys for years. They always have the best prices and no other yard in the area comes close to their hours. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because the previous reviewer is right, their deductions can be astronomical. Especially when doing mixed metals. They will eye it up and deduct 20lbs for 1lb of plastic. But otherwise great friendly staff.
Prices are great and everyone has always been friendly and helpful. The hours are also great because I have a large family and work full time so it's not always easy to get to the scrap yard during the day. Would be even better if they were opened on Sundays. I'm sure theres plenty of others that would say the same. I know i'm not the only one that couldn't make it in time on Saturday.Would probably turn out to be a great day for a lot of people and a big money day for the co.
